[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Stone Edge is Aerodactyl's main STAB attack, having great damage output against most unresisted foes.
  • Sky Attack in tandem with Flyinium Z is a powerful secondary STAB move that deals with Rock-type resists such as Passimian and Pangoro, as well as dealing massive damage to the majority of the tier bar physically defensive walls like Steelix.
  • Earthquake helps Aerodactly to chip down walls such as Rhydon and Steelix, while also being a reliable attack to pick off foes without the risk of missing or taking a turn to charge up.
  • Roost provides a form of recovery to increase Aerodactyl's longevity, being quickly worn down by hazards and chip damage.
Set Details
========

  • Flyinium Z allows Aerodactly to use a one-off 200 Base Power STAB attack, detonating almost any Pokemon in the tier.
  • Unnerve lets Aerodactly bypass pinch Berries from the likes of Incineroar and Rotom, as well as the rare pinch Berry Steelix.
  • The given EV spread enables Aerodactyl to outspeed Sceptile with 176 Speed EVs alongside a Jolly nature, whereas maximum Attack investment ensures Aerodactly hits as hard as possible. The remaining 80 EVs are dumped into Defense to give Aerodactyl an easier time stomaching an Ice Shard from Sneasel, taking one from full and only having a 37% chance to be KOed after Stealth Rock damage.
Usage Tips
========

  • Aerodactyl is pretty frail and has difficulty switching into most Pokemon, so it's best to try and bring Aerodactyl into battle via VoltTurn or when a Pokemon has been KOed; don't switch Aerodactyl in recklessly due to its weakness to Stealth Rock and lack of defensive utility.
  • However, it can switch into certain Pokemon. For example, if the opponent has a Pokemon like Braviary or Incineroar, it's advised to switch Aerodactyl directly into them to threaten them out or simply KO them.
  • If the opponent has a Pokemon like Steelix or Rhydon, they're most likely to switch into those Pokemon when Aerodactly enters the field, so using Earthquake early on in the match to wear them down is recommended.
  • Alternatively, utilizing a Pokemon with access to Knock Off early-game to remove Leftovers and Eviolites from the likes of Steelix, Rhydon, and Blastoise respectively assists Aerodactly greatly. Removing a Choice Scarf from the likes of Passimian also puts Aerodactly at an advantageous position, as Passimian can no longer outspeed it and force it out.
  • Earthquake should be used over Stone Edge in situations where the foe is able to be KOed by Earthquake instead of risking missing with Stone Edge. Good examples of this would include Fire-types like Incineroar and Magmortar, where Earthquake can easily pick them off.
  • Most of the time, Aerodactly will want to dish out attacks as much as possible, however, Roost should be used in certain cases where if the opponent is immediately threatened out by Aerodactly and is low on HP, Roost should be used to allow it to thrive later on in the match.

Moves
========

  • Stone Edge acts as a great STAB attack and due to lack of Rock-resists it deals hefty damage to most Pokemon.
  • Wing Attack provides a safer option in STAB attacks, being 100% accurate and directly targeting foes such as Vileplume and Passimian.
  • Earthquake lets Aerodactly securely hit Pokemon that Stone Edge already does, such as Fire-types, as well as chipping down sturdy checks like Steelix.
  • Pursuit allows Aerodactly to trap offensive threats such as Heliolisk, Magmortar, and Delphox, alleviating pressure from fellow teammates throughout the match.

You know, I wonder if Fly could be an alternative option to Sky Attack, since Fly is a 'sorta' usable attack after the Z to still smack Fightings and Grasses as opposed to Sky Attack uselessly leaving Aero wide open. Perhaps some calcs showcasing the significance of the 25 BP difference between Z-Sky Attack and Z-Fly could help justify this.

hi could you get this out by the end of the weekend please, let me know if that doesn't work time-wise for you

Please get this done within the next 48 hours or it will unfortunately be re-assigned, banks.
