Hello Smogon! I've worked on this trick room team since yesterday and fought a few friends of mine (OU competitively). I want to get some advice on it, I am sure it can't be perfect. Be as rough as you can ^^.
LEAD: Bronzong @ macho brace
Ability : Levitate
Nature : Brave
Ev : 252 HP / 252 atk/ 6 def
-Trick room
-Gyro ball
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
This is my team's lead and first trick roomer. I start with trick room and use stealth rock when the enemy pokemon doesn't have a fire attack. Bronzong is very valuable in my team so I used full hp ev's to keep it alive; its also used as a mixed wall when Jellicent and Reuniclus can't switch into dark or ghost attacks.
Reuniclus @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Sp.Atk
Nature: Quiet
-Trick Room
-Psychic
-Shadow Ball
-Focus Blast
My second trick roomer and a special tank. I set up trick room usually when I switch in from Emboar to psychic and its other weaknesses. Life orb boosts my attack along with the 252 satk evs.
Jellicent @ Leftovers
nature: relaxed
Ability: Water Absorb
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SpA
-Scald
-Will-O-Wisp
-Recover
-trick room
My last trick roomer and my defense wall. Leftovers and recover is used to survive incase my other 2 trick roomers fall. Scald and will-o-wisp is there for double the chance of causing a burn. This is my second most reliable trick roomer since it can take hits while it sets up trick room instead of having coverage.
Emboar @ Expert Belt
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 HP / 128 atk/ 128 satk
Nature: Brave
- Flare Blitz
- Hammer Arm
- hp ice
- Wild Charge
This is my first trick room mixed sweeper. It is meant to deal as much damage as possible before it goes down. Emboar switches in on fire, grass, and dark attacks which harm some of my team members, so the hp ev's help it survive more. I recently changed the ev's and flamethrower into flare blitz to give it a stronger stab move. Changed evs and rock head to hp ice for coverage.
Eelektross @ life orb
Ability: levitate
nature: Quiet
evs: 252 HP / 252 sp atk/ 4 atk
-Thunderbolt
-Flamethrower
-Dragon Tail
-Grass Knot
This is my second mixed sweeper. It switches in on electric attacks targeted at Jellicent and ground attacks aiming at Emboar. Dragon Tail is there for my lack of an ice move for dragons on my team and to help rack up stealth rock damage. It seems like a good alternative since flamethrower hits grass types effective too.
(AFROTHUNDER) Bouffalant @ Choice Band
Ability: Reckless
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
-Head Charge
-Wild Charge
-Earthquake
-Megahorn
This is the last sweeper on my team and the most powerful imo. It goes in after most of the enemies pokemon have been weakened and steel types are gone. This is the reason both of my other 2 sweepers have coverage to take done steel types. Reckless along with full attack ev's and choice band to hit as hard as I can. His one weakness is covered by Jellicent and to an extent Reuniclus and he covers their ghost weakness.
I know that just covering a weakness doesn't mean its a good counter against a pokemon. But since my pokemon are bulky they have a good chance to live and attack back when I predict correctly. I've never made a trick room team but I do know I have 5 turns to hit as hard as I can; so if there's any way to improve that please let me know!
I do not have a threat list but if I need one I'll edit it in ^^.
Edits in bold.
