Hello thanks for coming to look at my team. I have just recently joined Smogon but I think I'm picking up the competitive scene really fast. I went on this Rmt section and used several well put together teams. I don't really know anyone yet so I can't get a lot of help outside of posting my team. Enough about me though...

Purpose: To use a core of Heatran/Kingdra to dominate sun and rain teams, while retaining being able to compete with other types of teams.
Expect comma slices, overuse of male articles, and capitilization errors. Sorry but I just don't give a shit. That kinda defeats the purpose of saying sorry doesn't it? Whatever.

F*** RAIN AND SUN
The anti weather core:
Kingdra @ Choice Specs
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SAtk / 28 HP / 228 Spd
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance
Kingdra is severely underrated. I went with choice specs because I wanted the raw power. Although his special attack isn't nearly as high as latios, Kingdra is able to take advantadge of the fact that nothing that wants to switch into Draco meteor; is smashed by hydro pump. With modest, Kingdra 2hkoes SpD Celebi and has a chance to kill dragonite through draco metor. Rain dance is a strange option in the last slot, but kingdra already has good coverage, and it is very powerful against sun teams once I eliminate Nintales. Surf just doesn't too enough damage even though it is reliable. Kingdra can switch into alot of incredibly strong fire and water attacks that many dedicated walls can't switch into. Due to my lack of a fast scarfer, this ability is incredibly useful.
Heatran @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 100 SAtk / 252 Spd / 156 HP
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
Heatran is here to stop sun teams in their tracks. Obviously this doesn't happen when dugtrio/lure is around, however, if I can reveal my kingdra is specs then ninetales is usually used for fodder. This is why rain dance is used. Anyways, I went with a sub heatran set because my team generally doesn't like bulky waters. This has amazing synergy with scizor, taking out steel types, toxicing bulky waters (especially keldeo). Other heatran on balloons and subtoxic gliscor can be a pain, but Rotom-w and Kingdra are good switch ins to them. Heatran can be dead weight against rain teams other than to toxic politoed, but his slot is too valuable for countering sun teams and paving a sweep with Scizor. I put 156 Evs because I wanted some bulk, if you have a better spread I would appreciate it.
Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 220 SDef / 40 Spd / 248 HP
Calm Nature
- Perish Song
- Recover
- Psychic
- U-turn
Tried and true FWG core. Everyone raves about Celebi and it's not hard to see why. Celebi fixes all the weaknesses with my team to certain sweepers such as landorus, Keldeo, breloom, etc. Perish song was chosen because I subcm anything sets up on half my team. Psychic because with giga drain Conkeldurr destroys me, also nice for toxicroak and takes care of tentacruel. This lets me counter gengar too as I just U-turn on the disable. I picked U turn because idgaf about TTar trapping me, all it turns into is a free setup oppurtunity with scizor. I also like to actually hurt alakazam who would be a big threat otherwise.
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 44 Atk / 252 HP / 212 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
I have trouble not putting Lando T into every offensive team I make. He has everything one can look for in an offensive pivot. He gives me a switch into terrakion, physical dragons, and Scizor. Unlike Gliscor, with his attack stat he can actually hurt things and not be fodder for things such as sd Scizor. I can't say enough good things about Landorus, so I'll just stop here. What I want, is a suggestion on the spread because I would like to be able to outspeed more things, but is it worth the drop in bulk?
Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Trick
Rotom-W is another pokemon that I have trouble not putting in my team too. His typing is his best asset. Even though he is choiced, he can still counter some very dangerous things to the rest of my team. These include Gyarados, Mamoswine, and tornadus. I really needed a scarfer to revenge kill things, and Rotom-w does admirably. Much of the set up sweepers that he can't kill, can be handled by team mates landorus and Heatran. The best thing about Rotom-W is that he generates so much momentum with volt switch. Not having a wall outside of Celebi, this is very important to my team.
Scizor @ Lum Berry
Trait: Technician
EVs: 176 Atk / 80 Spd / 252 HP
Adamant Nature
- Bug Bite
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Swords Dance
I chose SD scizor over choice band because he Set-ups on so many things in the tier. He serves as a way to counter non-offensive/tauntless Gliscor, something my team desperately needed. Arguably the best thing about Scizor is that he doesn't need to set-up to be a threat. The priority bullet punch is incredibly helpful to my team due to how slow it is. Lum berry is the best item on scizor because I can set-up on defensive waters. Leftovers isn't really needed because Scizor has alot of bulk. I put max hp in because I wanted the most bulk to take scalds and a good amount of speed to speed creep various things.
Thanks for looking at my team! I know I'm new here so I'll try to be open to any and all suggestions. All I want to keep is Heatran/Kingdra. If you have any advice for me as a new player too I would appreciate it.
Threats:
I'll add more to this as time goes on.
Alot of what I'm having trouble with is that celeb gets worn down so much. It counters so many things that its hard to keep alive especially with the weakness to u turn. I feel the most replaceable member is rotom. Is a team possible without a scarfer?
