Not A Bug Air Ballon not revealed when Gravity ends

What is the bug?
During a game, the held item "Air Balloon" by Raikou did not appear, leaving me baffled as to why my Earthquake resulted in an immunity. I have added the link to the replay - it occurs at turn 9.

We have had a !showset Raikou verify that there is indeed an Air Balloon equipped. This was looked into by others (moderators) as well.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
Doubtful. It would require us to know the specifications of what caused the error. Was it Sandstorm? Was it Stealth Rock? Unless I bump into a similar situation, I won't know for sure.

Gravity was in effect, hence why the message did not appear. The question I have for researchers is, in generation 9 if gravity ends, is air balloon revealed? Or is its presence left unannounced?

I just tested it, and it is not announced, regardless of whether it was announced before Gravity or not.
