Hey I'm pretty new too this and this is a change to my original team. For the most part I'm looking to add a hazard to my team( ideally stealth rock), give myself a wall or tank, work on my type coverage, get more efficient items for my pokemon, develop a more definite lead, and maybe get a spinner.
1. Weapon-X (Scizor) M@ Leftovers
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 HP/ 4 Spe
Nature: Adamant
~ Sword Dance
~ Bullet Punch
~ Bug Bite
~ Roost
Scizor is my favorite pokemon and has proved very useful. He can take some pretty heavy attacks. A lot of moves will take 3 moves at least to KO giving me time to Dance and Roost leading to a sweep.
2. BOBnWeave(Weavile) M@ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
Nature: Jolly
~ Ice Shard
~ Night Slash
~ Low Kick
~ Aerial Ace
This is my 2nd favorite pokemon and a key part of my team. He is my revenge/dragon killer. He out speed pretty much everything and can OHKO most threats. Thinking about trading ice shard with Ice punch but I love the priority. Is sword dance necessary?
3. Zeta(Porygon-z) @ Silk Scarf
Trait: Adaptability
EVs: 56 HP / 252 SpA / 200 Spe
Nature: Modest
~ Nasty Plot
~ Tri Attack
~ Thunderbolt
~ Psychic
This guy is a beast. I'll lead him against rain and sun teams otherwise he's late game sweep or death fodder. He has great fire power and surprisingly out speeds enough pokemon to effectively decimate teams.
4. GengBang(Gengar) F@ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
~ Hypnosis
~ Thunderbolt
~ Shadow Ball
~ Giga Drain
Gengar used to be an annoyer but I wasn't very good at it and she died a lot. Now I switch in on fighting ground and poison moves and take them out. I can also put any serious threats to sleep so that I can get type advantage. This set helps quite the bit against rain/sandstorm teams.
5. SS3-Primape(Infernape) M@ Black Belt
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Nature: Hasty
~ Close Combat
~ Thunder Punch
~ Flare Blitz
~ Mach Punch
Infernape is my lead right now, unless its a sun/rain team. Only problem I have with him is Flare Blitzing Iron barbed rocky helmet ferrothorns and then getting raped by my next opponent. That EQ weakness kills me too.
6. Hax(Haxorus) M@ Choice Band
Trait:Rivalry
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Nature: Lonely
~ Outrage
~ EQ
~ X-Scissor
~ BrickBreak
This guy hasn't been very useful for me. Anything that he can outspeed Scizor Weavile and Inferape can cover. While there have been cases where he's saved my ass, over all he's been used as death fodder or to scout.
This is the squad. I'm up for any suggestions, tips, or strategy that you think might help. I'm going to keep Scizor Gengar and Weavile on my team no matter what but I'm up for moveset changes. I listed some things I'm interested in above. Thanks in advance
