THIS IS OUTRAGES. Why are room staff and higher only allowed to make group chats it doesn't make sense and it is very unfair for people who do nothing wrong in group chats. There are people who enjoy hosting tours regularly and need group chats to do it. If someone just misuses a group chat then just ban them from using it. I often enjoy hosting tours and now I can not do that anymore. If you could find some way to undo this or find some way for people who do nothing wrong in group chats to use them.

Rejected Allow everyone to use group chats again or not let people make group chats who misuse it.

No. We are not changing this. Groupchats have been misused by groomers and sexual harassers too much to let regs continue to have the privilege - this was an intentional change and it will not be reverted for the sake of the safety of our users.
This is not going to happen anytime soon. Groupchats have been proved easy to abuse, and although we do ban people who misuse, the threat to user safety posed by unrestricted groupchats is too great. If you want to play in tournaments, you can do that as part of a room (room staff can still make groupchats).
We care more about the safety of all PS users than about tournaments in groupchats.
