Rejected Allow players to add a Pokémon sprite to their avatar

I understand that custom avatars should stay exclusive and unique, but would it be possible to let people simply add an existing Pokémon sprite next to their basic avatar? It would allow for far more individuality without taking away what makes custom avatars special

No. This would, in fact, be taking away from the incentive of custom avatars, and it would do so at the cost of rather a large amount of work.
