Rejected Allow users to opt-in to auto-uploading replays?

I know that Showdown has a function to automatically upload replays (which is activated on the Smogtours server). Would it be possible to allow users to opt-in to that function on the main server? I'm imagining an "Auto-upload replays" checkbox much like the "Don't allow spectators" option that appears above the "Battle!" button (picture below for reference).

PS has a massive number of battles; the server would probably die of exhaustion if it had to upload and store all those replays needlessly.
