Pending Allowing more than 500 Characters in a daily's description

Hello, I was thinking if its possible to allowing more than 500 characters in for the dailies (for exemple a /daily location) ? Most of the time, I have to cut information from the daily I make, Like it has been done for the HTMLFAQ character limit ?

I don't see why not, the limit for normal rfaq's is 8,196 iirc? Can't do too many characters since daily's are meant to be images + text, but at least double the daily description limit should be fine if not more.

I don't think dailies particularly need a huge amount of text, and I'd be concerned about text bloat in dailies if it's raised significantly. If you're struggling to fit dailies into 500 characters I'm not entirely opposed to raising it slightly (to maybe a maximum of 700-800).

Small styling side-note: Dailies (especially if the character limit is raised) should probably have a max-height, having the text scroll if it were to exceed that max height.

Hi, Trick House RO here. We use dailies for our integral room system, particularly with a way for users to view challenges. We work around this with, if we need to, by doing two dailies for a difficulty (e.g mediumchallenges, mediumchallenges2). There are other rooms where, in very specific situations, having the character limit raised would be nice, but these are almost very specific and I'm in the same boat as Felucia with thinking dailies don't rly need a huge amount of text (or rather, I'd be concerned about text bloat, excepting Trick House, but this is a one room issue of which we have a workaround which is not too much of an inconvenience)

While I cannot say that I think this would be a needed change, I would certainly say at least it would be a welcome change and I'd support the idea personally, but I wouldn't die on this hill
