[SET COMMENTS]

Alolan Ninetales is a great asset to Ice-type teams due to summoning hail and using Aurora Veil to allow its teammates to take less damage from attacks. Alolan Ninetales's Fairy typing is good to threaten Fighting- and Dark-types like Urshifu-S and Mega Sableye with STAB Moonblast, and it has a great Speed tier to outpace Pokemon such as Keldeo and Terrakion. Freeze-Dry is used to hit Water-types such as Swampert, Pelipper, Mantine, and Gastrodon. Encore allows Alolan Ninetales to lock entry hazard settlers and setup sweepers like Galarian Corsola, Torkoal, and Bisharp into non-damaging moves. Light Clay is used to maintain Aurora Veil for eight turns, and Snow Warning is needed to summon hail. 252 Special Attack EVs make Alolan Ninetales hit as hard as possible. A Timid nature with 252 Speed EVs is vital for Alolan Ninetales to outpace Keldeo and Urshifu-S.

All teammates appreciate Alolan Ninetales providing Aurora Veil to help take attacks and its Moonblast threatening Urshifu-S and Terrakion. Alolan Sandslash loves Alolan Ninetales summoning hail to enable Slush Rush, allowing it to outpace Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Diancie. Alolan Ninetales in return can take care of Landorus and Nidoking outside hail. Avalugg is a great wall that can come in on Excadrill's and Bisharp's attacks and take care of them with Body Press. It can also use Rapid Spin to get rid of entry hazards that prevent Alolan Ninetales from repeatedly coming in. Cloyster is a great partner, as it loves the support from Aurora Veil to safety set up and sweep and can take care of troublesome Rock- and Fire-types once it set up, like Mega Tyranitar, Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Charizard Y, and Victini. Piloswine is also a great partner that can take care of Volcarona and Mega Charizard Y thanks to Thick Fat and provide Stealth Rock. Mamoswine is another option, as it can also provide Stealth Rock support, takes neutral damage from Fire- and Rock-type attacks and helps against Rock-, Fire-, Steel- and Poison-types like Tyranitar, Heatran, Magnezone, and Toxapex. Kyurem is a great wallbreaker; helps out Alolan Ninetales by taking care of troublesome Steel-types such Heatran, Excadrill, and Magnezone with Earth Power; and helps out in the Water-type matchup with Freeze-Dry to 2HKO Toxapex, which Alolan Ninetales has trouble beating. Choice Scarf Galarian Darmanitan is a great wallbreaker and a great way to take care of troubling Steel-types like Excadrill, Heatran, and Jirachi that threaten Alolan Ninetales out. Choice Scarf Weavile is a great check to a set-up Cloyster thanks to Foul Play and troublesome Ghost- and Psychic-types like Gengar, Blacephalon, Victini and Jirachi thanks to Knock Off and Pursuit. Knock Off is also useful to get rid of Heavy-Duty Boots from Blissey, Leftovers from Tyranitar, and Eviolite from Porygon2.

Other Options

Ice
--------

Blizzard can be used over Encore to enable Alolan Ninetales to nab an OHKO on Mega Pinsir; however, without Encore, it cannot force setup sweepers such as Bisharp and hazard settlers like Galarian Corsola to lock into uility moves. Heavy-Duty Boots is a niche option to avoid taking Stealth Rock damage. Choice Scarf is another option that enables Alolan Ninetales to outpace Mega Lopunny, Mega Gallade, and Choice Scarf Terrakion, but this means fewer turns of Aurora Veil and making it harder for setup sweepers like Alolan Sandslash and Cloyster to setup.

Checks and Counters
===================

Ice
--------
**Steel-types**: Alolan Ninetales has trouble dealing with Steel-types like Mega Scizor, Jirachi, and Excadrill due to resisting both of Alolan Ninetales's moves and can take care of it with Bullet Punch and Iron Head.

**Super Effective Attacks**: Fire-types like Mega Charizard X, Blacephalon, and Cinderace are able to tank any of Alolan Ninetales attacks and OHKO it. Mega Charizard Y and Torkoal can also prevent Aurora Veil from being set up thanks to Drought. Fast Rock-types like Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Diancie are able to OHKO Alolan Ninetales with their STAB attacks. Poison-types like Gengar are able to OHKO Alolan Ninetales with Sludge Wave.

**Special Walls**: Special Defensive walls such as Blissey and Empoleon can take any of Alolan Ninetales attacks, and take care of it with their attacks or using Toxic.

**Stealth Rock**: Alolan Ninetales is greatly hindered by Stealth Rock, which limits the times it can switch in to provide hail and Aurora Veil.

**Revenge Killers**: Fast Pokemon like Mega Lopunny and Mega Gallade along with Choice Scarf users like Greninja, Terrakion, and Excadrill can easily outpace and take care of Alolan Ninetales.

[SET COMMENTS]
- Move Encore to the last move slot, move the Encore mention in the first paragraph to after Moonblast
- Change Volcarona as an example of a setup sweeper that Encore helps against, replace with something like Bisharp
- Add Mantine as a Water-type that Freeze Dry helps against
- Add that Moonblast is the strongest STAB move Ninetales learns
- Remove Medicham as an example for Pokemon that Ninetales outspeeds since it just got banned, replace with Keldeo/Terrakion etc
- Add that max SpA investment allows it to hit as hard as possible
- In the Hail sentence, mention that the 8 turns of Hail helps Alolan Sandslash

- "...help take attacks and its Fairy-typing threatening Fighting-types like Mega Medicham and Terrakion."
- Replace Mega Medicham as an example of a Fighting-type (its banned now)
- Add that Ninetales can in return threaten special attackers like Nidoking and Landorus
- Add that Mamoswine can provide Stealth Rock support as well and takes neutral damage from Fire and Rock type moves and helps against Rock-, Fire-, Steel- and Poison-types like Tyranitar, Heatran, Magnezone and Toxapex.
- Add Kyurem as a good teammate option
- Add that Darmanitan also acts as a strong wallbreaker

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
- Add Blizzard as an option over Encore, mention drawbacks
- Add Heavy-Duty Boots as an option as an item but mention the drawback of less turns of Aurora Veil
- Mention Choice Scarf as an option as well, add examples of threats that Choice Scarf helps outspeed (Choice Scarf Terrakion/Heracross/Mega Lopunny etc), again add that there'd be less turns of Aurora Veil

Checks and Counters
===================
- Add a new category as "Steel-types" since they resist both of Ninetales moves
- In "Stealth Rocks", add that it limits the number of times Ninetales can reliably switch in and provide Hail and Veil support
- Add "Revenge Killers" as a category, give examples (Greninja, Mega Lopunny etc)

- please break up the first sentence. talk about snow warning + alolan ninetales ability to set aurora veil for the typing. also when talking about aurora veil, you don't need to specify special/physical attacks since it does both, just say reduces the damage of attacks or something. then talk about what its fairy typing can do for the type
- when you talk about its fairy typing include moonblast in that sentence and targets for it Urshifu-S is the best example that comes to mind
- rephrase the encore sentence

- alolan sandslash can beat nidoking/landoi inside hail, so if you want to talk about how alolan ninetales beats them make sure to include outside of hail
- talk about kyurems wallbreaking presence and what it beats for alolan ninetales
- if you are going to mention those targets for weavile say choice scarf weavile, as blacephalon commonly runs scarf. also mention it being able to take on cloyster w/ foul play+scarf. talk about knock off support weavile brings

[other options]
- remove icy rock from oo, alolan sandslash having a few more turns is never worth it, compared to extra veil turns
- for boots and scarf just talk about how the end why light clay is preferred, you when why after each option and its repetitive as fuck

overall, there is a ton of repeated info in paragraph 1. after you implement this talk to me on discord, i will give a few more pointers, and then i will stamp this.
