[OVERVIEW]
* Alomomola's ability Regenerator paired with it's huge HP stat allows it to have a high sustain and act as a great wall for physical attackers.
* Alomomola has great physical defence but lack lustre special defence.
* With its arguable most important move Wish, Alomomola is able to take hits and heal itself back to full or alternatively taking advantage of it's ability Regenerator and using Wish to heal up other Pokemon in your team whilst healing yourself as well.
* Although Alomomola has a very low special defence stat, it can take advantage of using the move Mirror Coat as its high HP stat allows Alomomola to take hits from some super effective moves and fire back with huge power.
* Alomomola's can reliably wear down the opposition with moves such as Scald, Toxic, Knock off but can quickly become set up fodder to set up Pokemon with Taunt or Substitute.
* Alomomola acts as a great wall but has next to no offensive presence, this means it relies solely on utility and status to chip away at foes.
* Alomomola's greatest role is acting as a pivot, taking physical hits and passing on wishes to teammates.
* Alomomola fits better on stall teams than on offensive teams, it is also useful on balance.

Moves
========
* Mirror Coat is used to kill special threats lured in that Alomomola can live. It is most used for luring Mega Charizard-Y and Magearna. Although Toxic can be used instead of this to good effect.
* Scald is used mainly for chip damage as well as the 30% chance to burn the target. Mainly used for neutralising physical attackers.
* Protect is used for multiple reasons on Alomomola, Not taking damage after using Wish. Protect is also useful for gaining extra leftovers, Scouting for Choice locked threats such as Xurkitree to deal with better or even to PP stall.
* Wish is arguably Alomomola's most important move. Sending wishes to teammates, scouting damage and calcing spreads, keeping itself healthy.
Set Details
========
* Regenerator allows for high sustain and multiple switch-ins to many heavy hitting Pokemon. and is the main reason for it being used on so many water type teams.
* Leftovers is used on this set to outlast other opponents. Using Mirror Coat usually means that in order for Alomomola to efficiently kill special attackers it must take a fair bit of damage, leftovers with Protect usually allows it to gain a fair bit of HP back before switching out and getting its Regenerator boost overall giving Alomomola even higher sustain.
* 64 HP paired with 192 Spd allows it to take special attacks from Pokemon such as Rotom/Magearna/Latios/Mega Charizard-Y and OHKO them back with Mirror Coat.
* 252 Defence with a Bold nature allows for Alomomola to tank most of the neutral match ups physical hits. This defensive spread makes sure a lot of Physical hits so less than 50% in order to allow Alomomola to Wish/Protect with out dying and being able to get in Scalds every now and then. Notable calc from this spread is that Banded Excadrill does 50.7% maximum roll which is not a 2HKO after Leftovers.
* A more specially defensive spread of 88 / 168 / 252 with a Calm nature can be viably used instead. This spread always survives Life Orb Tapu Koko's Volt Switch and Xurkitree's unboosted Thunderbolt, allowing it to Mirror Coat against them safely.
Usage Tips
========
* Take advantage of Alomomola's ability each game by switching it in as much as possible against physical Pokemon.
* Make sure you calculate to make sure Alomomola's Regenerator always brings it back in on a healthy amount of HP.
* Try to keep Mirror Coat hidden on you Alomomola until you are 100% sure they are attacking. Once revealed Mirror Coat is a lot harder to pull off.
* Utilise Wish as much as possible to heal up the rest of your team.
* This EV spread allows Alomomola to live volt switch from almost all variations of every Pokemon that uses it, make sure to take advantage of your Mirror Coat on their pivot.
* Mirror Coat does not work on Dark type Pokemon, make sure you do not try to use it on one.
* Be careful when using Wish or Protect against potential set up Pokemon otherwise your wall could just become set up fodder.
* Alomomola's use of Knock off early game can help to clear out the items of its switch ins. A great example of this is Chansey and its Eviolite. Although it is not advised to challenge walls of Alomomola unless on the switch with Knock Off as a lot of them carry Toxic.
* If you wish to use Mirror Coat successfully during a match, you will want to keep Alomomola's HP topped up to a point of it living any attack.
* As Scald is very spammable don't be afraid to take damage in order to fire off this move as Regenerator will give you a majority of it back.
Team Options
========
* Alomomola's ability Regenerator paired with the move Wish gives it amazing synergy with other Bulky water types.
* Toxapex as a full out special wall paired with Alomomola is great for dealing with the special hits Alomomola can not take. Toxapex also has the Regenerator ability meaning switching between the two to wall whatever is sent out usually ends up being a no draw back play. Toxapex also has access to Toxic Spikes potentially putting everything that Alomomola walls on a timer. Toxapex can also counter some set up Pokemon with the move Haze. It also only takes neutral damage from grass attacks.
* Lanturn is a must have paired with Alomomola as the ability Volt-Absorb allows it to wall the Electric Pokemon that scare out Alomomola. It also gets the move Heal Bell which helps Alomomola keep its longevity even once it is status'd.
* Mantine is another great special wall to support Alomomola although Mantine's main support would be in the use of Defog, Clearing hazards that would cancel out Alomomola's regenerator health is crucial to bulky teams.
* Quagsire is great support for Alomomola, even though it is another physical wall, Quagsire is the answer to set up Pokemon. Its ability Unaware allows it to take normal damage from Pokemon that have set up with moces such as Swords Dance or Bulk Up. It is also another Electric immunity and gets the move Earthquake to combat Electric types.
* Azumarill is the icing on the cake to work with Alomomola as it gets the ability Sap Sipper. This allows it to absorb all grass attacks. It also gets the move Perish Song, this move helps to beat Pokemon behind a sub that Alomomola can not hit.
* Empoleon/Swampert for phasing out Pokemon and setting up stealth rock to help weaken the opposition. Empoleon can also be used as utility as it has access to defog.
* Keldeo/Kingdra/Sharpedo/Gyarados do not have to wait until the end up the game to start a sweep as any damage taken early on can be healed later in the battle.
* Mega Slowbro also benefits highly from Alomomola's support as Calm Mind + Iron Defence Mega Slowbro can check set up sweepers as well as capitalise on Alomomola's use of Knock Off. It is a lot more likely a Slowbro will beat a Chansey at +6 if it does not have its Eviolite.
* Tapu Fini does not get any form of recovery so Wish support from Alomomola is greatly appreciated. Make sure to take note of Misty Terrain as you will not be able to status Grounded Pokemon with Alomomola whilst it is up.

Other Options
=============
*Physically defensive Alomomola with Rocky Helmet and Toxic/Knock Off instead of Mirror Coat. Is another option that can check physical attackers a lot better.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Electric Types**: Electric types such as Xurkitree are able to fully set up on Alomomola. The special defence EVs will not live many STAB Thunderbolts. There are generally less physically offensive Electric Type Pokemon used.
**Grass Types**: Grass types such as Choice Band Tapu Bulu can get burnt and still 1v1 with Horn Leech and Grassy Terrain. Other Grass types such as Cradily have storm drain to counter.
**Wall Breakers**: Whilst Alomomola can beat a lot of physical attackers, some wall-breakers such as Choice Banded Diggersby or Dragonite can run right through Alomomola. Z-Moves are also threatening although the use of protect lets Alomomola take reduced damage. Burning them early on allows for an easier time.
**Stall Breakers**: Any Pokemon that carries Taunt/Substitute and a set up move is the biggest threat to Alomomola. This limits its recovery to just Leftovers and Regenerator as well as losing the chance to burn with scald. Examples of Stall Breakers that beat Alomomola include; Gliscor, Mew and Mega Sableye. Anything that carries Toxic can also cripple Alomomola
**Set up Sweepers**: Following on from Substitute users, Set up Pokemon with Swords Dance/Bulk Up or Calm Mind/Quiver Dance/Nasty Plot are a huge issue for Alomomola, especially the special attacking set up Pokemon.
