I for got the buffs that were proposed for different mons today.

:Silvally:
+Extreme Speed

Potent revengekiller, we finally got EKiller Arceus boys....in a heavily Ghost infested metagame. Have fun subbing this in SSS ig LOOOOL.

:Rotom:
97 SpA / 95 Spe

It's offensive presence is pretty low so this buff helps it in that regard.

:Deoxys-Defense:
+Pressure, +Stealth Rock, +Core Enforcer, -10 Atk, +10 HP

Gave it back SR for some utility, but the big buffs are the return of Pressure and access to Core Enforcer, making Deoxys-Defense a much more formidable defensive Tank.

:Deoxys:
+Swords Dance, +Recover, +Power Whip, -5 Atk, +5 SpA, +Close Combat

Makes Deoxys a whole lot more threatening against offensive teams since Swords Danxe makes its priority a lot more scary. Having potential STAB options above 100 also gives it a boon in power. I slightly nerfed attack only to offset how crazy the these buffs actually do for Deoxys.

:Slowbro-Galar:
+Toxic, +Teleport, +Toxic Spikes, +Merciless
Quick Draw* - No longer weakens move.

Gives Slowbro-Galar its right as the most interesting form of priority while also being the sole niche that all of its brethren lost / don't use anymore in FuturePort. If for some reason Future Port nor Offensive tickle your fancy Merciless exists, but i think is genuinely ass lol.

:Ninetales:
+Boiling Vortex
+Seething Sauna

Boiling Vortex - Water | 95 BP | 16 PP | 95% Acc | Ignores Desolate Land and clears away regular sun upon use.

Seething Sauna - Fire | 95 BP | 16 PP | 95% Acc | Ignores Primordial Sea and clears away regular rain upon use.

Ninetales biggest problem is that it gets folded by Primal Weather. Well these two signatures will definitely change that. Now Ninetales is no longer impeded by the disastor Legends and can go toe to toe with them.

:Genesect: (Password-Protected)
+Scald, +Soak, +Flare Blitz, +Will O Wisp, +Freeze Dry, +Haze, +Volt Tackle, +Magnet Rise, +Infestation
When user holds Burn Drive, attack is raised by 1.5.
When user holds Chill Drive, Special Attack is boosted by 1.5
When user holds Douse Drive, Defense and Special Defense is boosted by 1.25
When user holds Shock Drive, Speed is boosted by 1.5

This Pokemon is a bad gimmick so I decided to honor its hilarious inception by crafting perhaps the most random but probably genius interaction with its signature items. Genesect-PP is just bad vanilla Genesect and I didn't want to buff it in such a way that its becomes better vanilla Genesect, so these unique buffs ensure it maintains its place as a good Pokémon while still bumping up this weirdo.

Anyway the rest of the Silvallies will just suck, maybe Alt UU will give it buff it needs.

Vote goes to Moretto

will add some thoughts later
Okay so, I know I have time to discuss the new meta.
First of the new Pokemon:

:dp/shaymin: (Moretto won the tiebreaker)
This thing is crazy. It has great bulk and Seed Flares power and potential drops make up for its passivity. Poison Heal is a great ability to ruin Stall and Defensive teams, but Unaware might be better in this metagame, because of the offensive Pokemon that easily set-up on everything (like seriously, you need something against those Pokemon). Overall, a nice defensive Utility Pokemon.

:bw/shaymin-sky: (no Gen 4 sprite lol)
Thanks for making Farfetch'd obsolete. Anyway, this Pokemon is great. Its speed plays a huge role in making it good. Cloud Nine is great for Swift Swimmers and our only Chlorophyll and Slush Rush users. Flower Veil is pretty much useless, with Pogre everywhere. Same can be said about Drought, but in this case it does have a useful ability without being depended on others. Also it can beat Pogre. Overall, great mon.

:bw/keldeo:
This is a unique offensive Pokemon. It has good physical bulk and Stamina allow it to take repeated resisted hits. Leech Seed, Defog, Knock Off and U-turn are always great to punish switch-outs. Swords Dance goes really well with its STABs since CC is a really nice move to have and Aqua Jet make up for its lower speed. Great Pokemon overall

:bw/keldeo-resolute:
My sub lol. Refer to this post for my thoughts.

:bw/meloetta:
I honestly don't know what to think of this Pokemon, but it looks nice. Relic Song is a nice spammable STAB and Serene Grace goes well with it. Misty Coat is situational, but I can see physically defensive CM Sweeper sets work on it, since it has great special bulk and reliable recovery. It speed leaves much to be desired, but it can work around it. Seems solid.

:bw/meloetta-pirouette:
Imagine this with Scrappy lol. Anyway, this thing looks so dangerous. It has a fantastic speed tier and great Attack with perfect coverage in its STABs and Knock Off is scary. Bulk Up can power through defensive teams, Fake Out and Quick Attack/Mach Punch make great work against offensive teams. Knock Off cripples every that tries to wall it.

Overall, some nice additions. Now let's get to the buffs.

:sm/silvally:
So uhhh... I made the suggestion of Espeed and I think this buff went a bit too far. SD Adaptability Espeed with a Silk Scarf can OHKO most offensive Pokemon and can even 2HKO some decently bulky Pokemon. Now every team needs and Espeed resists or immunity that isn't slower than Silvally since they can crumple to its coverage.

:dp/rotom:
I actually don't now if the Eviolite buff helped it, but I think that it actually finds a nice niche now. It is immune to Earthquake and Espeed making it a great Silvally check (or counter if it only has those as attacking moves) and Eviolite gives it nice bulk for an offensive Pokemon. In addition it keeps its sheer utility movepool.

:rs/deoxys-defense:
It was considered as one of the worst mons in the meta, even with its great niche to check 2 S-tiers, those being Deoxys-S and Pogre. Now it has more HP which gives it some breathing room when checking both of those Pokemon. With Pressure it can even stall out their STABs, which are the moves that they spam permanently.

:rs/Deoxys:
These buffs are immense. It lost some Atk, but CC, Power Whip and SD really make up for it. Now it can run one of Horn Leech or Drain Punch and run one more powerful STAB. Recover is also nice since its bulk isn't bad (it isn't good either but it just works). There isn't much to add here since it still has some issues with some top Pokemon, but its niche has become way better.

:ss/slowbro-galar:
I forgot this existed lol. I don't think that it will become any good, since Quick Draw only works once and does only have +1 priorty. Teleport and Toxic Spikes are really nice, but I seriously doubt that it will be good.

:rb/ninetales:
This thing struggled with the primals, since they are immune to one STAB and 4x resist the other STAB, which really sucks for it, since it doesn't have any coverage for them outside Toxic and Scorching Sands for Pdon. The two new moves really help it out in that regard. I still think that the primals are good checks, especially Pogre since it is at least neutral to Seething Sauna, but they can't switch in carelessly anymore.

:bw/genesect:
Passwordsect sucked, but the new moves are really great for it. Expanding its coverage options for physically offensive sets is really key since those become usable and effective. Also, now you have more of a reason to drives outside of a new type and a 120 BP STAB, which are really good on their own rights, but they didn't reach regular Genesects power with Specs.

Overall, solid balance changes.

I'm really excited for this new metagame. It is still really offensive, but it has now more options for Offense and way better backbones.

Unfortunately we did not get to do much testing, but the very little testing we did do revealed some stuff. Genesect is a bit overtuned! And maybe Meloetta is a bit too overtuned.

:ss/Meloetta-Pirouette:
-20 Atk, +10 HP, +10 SpA

It's a BIT too strong. With this level of Attack it's hopefully a bit more manageable.

:ss/Genesect-Douse:
Burn Drive boosts Attack by ×1.3
Chill Drive boosts Accuracy and Speed by ×1.25
Shock Drive sets Charge upon switchin

Now while being unique, the Genesects are a lot easier to check, instead of having perma Choice items without Choice Lock, they each have interesting strata built into them.

Now just a very small amount of buffs

:ss/muk: :ss/muk-alola:
+Moonlight for both, +Stealth Rock for Muk

Realistically just an insurance policy against the rising amount of bothersome defensive Ghosts, Grasses and Fairies that exist in the metagame.

:ss/castform:
+Calm Mind, +Recover, +Hyper Voice

Catastroform is a do nothing mon, and I hope just a buff like this does some wonders for it.

:ss/linoone-galar:
+15 SpA

actually gives this mon some reputable damage output, putting it as a great revengekiller without being overbearing (defensive squads still bully it for example).

Maybe, we will find out what to do with the Silvallies, but that's for a later time.

Now we finally get into our new slate

:lycanroc::lycanroc-midnight::lycanroc-dusk: Slate 21: Dances with Wolves :lycanroc::lycanroc-midnight::lycanroc-dusk:

:ss/lycanroc::ss/lycanroc-midnight::ss/lycanroc-dusk:
the Lycanrocs were Gamefreak's poster child for Generation 7... until we realised they suck badly. GF also realised, and created the now UU viable Dusk, but the other s still suck ass. It's time to change that!

New Pokémon Name: Lycanroc-Midnight
Stat Changes: 85 / 125 / 75 / 55 / 75 / 82
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Keen Eye / No Guard / Fur Coat (HA)
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Moonlight, Body Press, Cotton Guard, Power Trip
What Separates it from Other Forms: Inspired by BlueRay! It's basically like Tyranitar being a Defensive Rock/Dark type, so it has very interesting defenses but still suffers from 7 weaknesses. Despite that, This Lycanroc is very bulky, it takes physical hits very well and has access to some nice utility, and could still reliably run offensive sets with No Guard and Stone Edge. However, running Body Press would be its main form of offense as it can abuse a quick +3 to its defense and soaks up damage from Fur Coat.

New Pokémon Name: Lycanroc-Dusk
Stat Changes: 95 / 147 / 105 / 55 / 105 / 70
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Tough Claws / Solid Rock / Shadow Shield (HA)
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Morning Sun, Moonlight, Earthquake
What Separates it from Other Forms: Its gimmick is weakness policy. It has access to Rock Polish and Swords Dance, and with Added Recovery it can use its improved bulk to live a little longer before fully sweeping the opposing team.

New Pokémon Name: Lycanroc-Spectre
Stat Changes: 90 / 120 / 95 / 60 / 83 / 82
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Keen Eye / Cursed Body / Illusion (HA)
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Moonlight, +Spirit Shackle, +Shadow Claw, +Double Edge
What Separates it from Other Forms: (May be inspired by something :smogthink:.) It’s an interesting take on an Illusion user since it could take advantage of its three great immunities. Through Illusion, it could become a great stall-breaker and setup sweeper with tools like Spirit Shackle, Taunt, and Swords Dance.

:ss/lycanroc:
New Pokémon Name: Lycanroc-Hound
Stat Changes: 85 / 100 / 86 / 60 / 75 / 124
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Keen Eye / Pickup / Skill Link (HA)
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Morning Sun, +Bone Rush, +Triple Axel, +Double Edge
What Separates it from Other Forms: This would be a cool implementation of Skill Link with Tail Slap and Rock Blast. It would also function as a great setup sweeper with the help of Swords Dance and its fast speed. This one is quite a simple approach, but having access to 125 bp Rock and Normal-type STAB would be this mon’s main niche. It’s most held back by its weak defensive typing.

First time subbing for this
let's hope i didn't make anything too busted
:swsh/Lycanroc-Midnight:
New Pokémon Name: Lycanite
Stat Changes: 90 /127 / 75 / 68 / 73 / 80
Typing Changes:
/

Ability Changes: Moxie/Reckless/Desperation (HA)
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Knock Off, +Parting Shot, +Accelerock, +Moonlight, +High Jump Kick
What Separates this from other forms: we only have the one other Dark/Fighting in Pikachu-Libre, and it primarily focuses on using Light Ball to boost its defenses, and by extension, Body Press, generally being bulky. this mon focuses more on the original Lycanroc's roles as a fast(ish) SD sweeper, using moves like High Jump Kick to deal large amounts of immediate damage, or you can use Desperation + Endure and a stat boosting item like Weakness Policy or Salac berry to boost stats.

This Pokemon's Atk is raised by 1 when it reaches 1/2 or less of its max HP.

:swsh/Lycanroc:
New Pokémon Name: Lycanday
Stat Changes: 80/105/65/105/65/100
Typing Changes:
/

Ability Changes: Magic Guard/Trace
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Calm Mind, +Psychic, +Psyshock, +Future Sight, +Expanding Force, +Aura Sphere, +Focus Blast, +U-turn, +Bulk Up
What Separates this from other forms: this is a fast mixed attacker with a currently unused typing for Alternatium, with Magic Guard allowing for Life Orb boosted attacks. Trace is mostly there for Flavor but can also be used to copy a particularly beneficial ability.

:swsh/Lycanroc-Dusk:
New Pokémon Name: Lycandusk
Stat Changes: 85/70/100/90/100/110
Typing Changes:
/

Ability Changes: Mummy/Wandering Spirit/Dry Skin
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Shadow Ball, +Hex, +Curse, +Shadow Sneak, +Aura Sphere, +Focus Blast, +Nasty Plot, +Moonlight, +Refresh
What Separates this from other forms: bulky Ghost/Fighting that separates itself from Aegislash by virtue of its bulkier statline and Special focus.
also has Mummy and Wandering Spirit for ability disruption shenanigans.

What Separates it from Other Forms: a half check to resitent S tier mon Deoxys-Speed. also dos other cool stuff like check status spam mons.
This pokemon is immune to Dark moves; raises Sp.Atk if hit by one. if targetted by a status move, heals 1/16 HP. (dos not count Hazards as status moves)

Ability Changes: Flash Fire/ Desolate Land (HA)
Movepool Changes (If Any):
+)Removed: Drill Run, Crunch, Iron Head, Sucker Punch
+)Added: Morning Sun, Solar Blade, Blaze Kick, Seed Bomb
What Separates it from Other Forms:
Stat wise, it's faster than the 2 other forms, allowing it potentially sweep. Its ability allows Solvesol to have "stab" on 3 typing. Rock type is a really good offensive typing, along with grass, it can hit everything but steel at least neutrally, and its ability, technically letting it having stab fire type breaks the steel types.

:swsh/Lycanroc-midnight:
New Pokémon Name: Fenroar (Fenrir + Roar)
Stat Changes: 80/135/90/60/70/95

Adrenaline: -If user's move KO, the next move is guaranteed to crit. (Megas For All's Adrenaline)
Movepool Changes (If Any):
+)Removed: Drill Run, Crunch, Iron Head, Fire Punch
+)Added: Moonlight, Snarl, Spirit Break, Knock Off
What Separates it from Other Forms:
Being the slowest form, but with the highest attacking stat, this thing is a revenge killer, having tools like accelerock, sucker punch, a wallbreaker with an ability that force switches.

:swsh/Lycanroc-dusk:
New Pokémon Name: Laikaon (Laika + Lycaon, greek god )

Movepool Changes (If Any):

What Separates it from Other Forms:
A sweeper that has tools to prevent being revenge killed/walled.

don't have time to make unique subs with good reasonings.

:ss/lycanroc:
New Pokémon Name: Lycanday
Stat Changes: 93/110/65/50/65/117 (500)
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Drought / Solar Might (HA)
Fire Lash, Flare Blitz, Flame Charge, Heat Charge
Fire Blast, Flamethrower
Accelerock, Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge
Sandstorm, Rock Polish, Stealth Rock
What Separates it from Other Forms: Strong Fire-type attacker which has a really good speed tier and devastating power under the sun. Has bad defensive utility, but makes up with its power.

:ss/lycanroc-midnight:
New Pokémon Name: Lycanight
Stat Changes: 93/110/50/90/50/107 (500)
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Sheer Force / Fairy Aura (HA)
Knock Off, Play Rough, Moon Strike, Pursuit
Moonblast, Dark Aura, Night Daze
Nasty Plot, Moonlight
Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Rock Throw, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge
Sandstorm, Rock Polish, Stealth Rock
What Separates it from Other Forms: A Dark-type that can blast through Dark-resists with its Fairy Aura boosted Fairy moves. Knock Off, Pursuit and Sucker Punch are great STABs and work perfectly with Close Combat and Moon Strike.

:ss/lycanroc-dusk:
New Pokémon Name: Lycandusk
Stat Changes: 93/125/60/55/60/112 (500)
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Rock Head / Strong Jaw (HA)
Hyper Fang, Ice Fang, Bone Crush
What Separates it from Other Forms: Basically Lycanroc-Dusk with a punishment against Ground-, Fighting- and Steel-types since its coverage moves like CC, Fire Fang, Ice Fang and Psychic can beat them more easily afterwards.

Solar Might: Physical Solar Power Clone

Heat Charge: Fire, Physical, 85 BP, 100%, 10 PP, Contact (1.2x damage under Sun)
Moon Strike: Fairy, Physical, 95 BP, 100%, 15 PP, Contact (30% chance to lower the target's Atk by 1)
Bone Crush: Rock Physical, 65 BP, 95%, 15 PP, Contact, Bite (Lowers Defense against resistant targets. 10% chance to flinch)
