Pet Mod Alternatium - Post PMPL Rework

:ss/Darmanitan:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan Burst
Stat Changes: 70/120/70/110/65/85 BST:520
Typing Changes: Fire/Ground
Ability Changes: Sheer Force / HA: Beast Boost
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Earth Power
What Separates it from Other Forms: Mixed attacker with average speed. New moves it can now use are Overheat, Grass Knot, Sheer Force boosted Flamethrower, Psychic and Focus Blast. Belly Drum will probably still be a set although depending on your team you might preffer special. Also Ground typing gives EQ and brand new Sheer Force boosted Earth Power as good STABs. Water is death.

:ss/Darmanitan-Zen:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan Zen
Stat Changes: 135/40/115/90/125/5 BST:510
Typing Changes: Psychic/Steel
Ability Changes: Comatose
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Wish +Doom Desire +Parting Shot +Dream Eater +Nightmare +Hypnosis
What Separates it from Other Forms: Amazing HP stat and defenses, added steel type for many resistances, respectable SpA, But with 5 speed you will take some hits no matter what. Hard to kill this thing through neutral raw damage but taunt will heavily deteriorate the mon. Apart of the stats of a competent wall we also have Wish as the only recovery move (Rest does not work with Comatose), so you'll be hoarding over those before your other Pokemons do. Doom Desire serves as your only Special steel stab if you want something to scare off those Dark types. This wall is aided by Parting Shot, that with 5 speed it's a stat-lowering Teleport. Moves it can try to use with the OG moveset are Iron Defense, WoW, Sub and Yawn, the latter one being complemented with Dream Eater, Nightmare, Hypnosis if you want to risk the miss, also remember that Fire Spin is available if you want to secure those sleeps and chip down the opponent's HP while you wall the heck out of them. Overall you can think of this pokemon as a defensive Mew or a Clefable with better stats (Comatose being a somewhat worse version of Magic Guard, but you can't be paralyzed at least). Pretty blind for not seing comatose as a possible ability but oh well.

:ss/Darmanitan-Galar:
New Pokémon Name: Darmamitan Snow
Stat Changes: 130/50/75/150/100/35 BST:540
Typing Changes: Ice/Normal
Ability Changes: Snow Warning
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Tri-Attack +Aurora Veil
What Separates it from Other Forms: Slow as a snowflake yet deadly as a...cursed coral? With one of the worst speed stats we will ever have (let's forget the sentient statue), combined with a quite lackluster typing, all with the highest SpA yet, we get this snow-packed ape. Noteworthy attacks are Blizzard, Focus Blast, Overheat/Flamethrower/Hear Wave, Grass Knot, Freese Dry and brand new STAB Tri-Attack. TR worthy but with a quite respectable HP stat and SpD it can try to survive a neutral move, definitely dying to any Fighting move though. Aurora Veil serves as a way to impact the rest of your team while mitigating any snow warning damage for yourself.

:ss/Darmanitan-Galar-Zen:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan IceBurn
Stat Changes: 105/80/55/80/90/140 BST:550
Typing Changes: None
Ability Changes: Regenerator / HA Rare Cold*
Movepool Additions (If Any)
: -Bulk Up -Iron Defense +Haze +Ice Shard +Flame Charge +Recover +Fake Out +Parting Shot
What Separates it from Other Forms: A concept that I would love to get in here is a fast wall. Haze those sword dances and shell smashes, wall with what you can as a quite lacking fire/ice type and regenerate all back with a U-turn. You might say "Quite lacking of a wall with 55def" well then if psysical walling is what you worry about, then let me introduce you to:
*Rare Cold (puns): This Pokemon recieves 0.5x from attacks if it is the first to move in a turn.
So your idea to wall is to move first, "freeze" your opponent and take less from their before-lethal earthquake, while also chipping them down your STABs My idea is to be able to choose Regenerator or Rare Cold as your team needs it, WoW is there if you want to naturally tank psysical moves and 90SpD is decent enough to survive on its own, also as mentioned before you can use U-turn for doing damage while recovering some HP, Recover is there for the Rare Cold half of the pokemon. It's additions as a switching hazard are Fake Out, Parting Shot and Haze, supported by its already existing U-Turn. If you fear that your damage might not be enough, then may I point your attention to Shard and Flame Charge, since Belly Drum still exists you can try to make a sweeper that takes less damage from revenge killers, also with Shard you have priority and can trigger Rare Cold if you suspect your opponent might have a priority move for themselves, otherwise there's the Work Up mixed attacker that might provide enough impact to be worth considering, I doubt so though. Overall you can either use it as a defensive pivot (thanks G-Luke I didn't know the right term) or a competent sweeper with priority and a resilience to revenge kills.

Edits:
1:
Buffed everything a bit, including every BST to 500, giving Burst drain punch, giving Zen night shade and wish, giving Snow Psychic back and giving IceBurn Perish Song.
2: General buff again, Burst got a role remake, now has ground typing, bearable speed and it's moveset back. Zen got +100BST, including a good SpA stat, and the brand new Zen Blast is added to it's moveset. Gave Snow 20 more SpD for 75 Def, lowered HP a bit and added Aurora Veil as a supporting move. IceBurn got a heavy speed boost, equal SpA and Attack stats, added Flame Charge and Seismic Toss.
3: Changed Zen's speed to 5 and Snow to 35.
4: Zen got a remake, instead of giving it truant it has Stall and was balanced accordingly, added steel type, removed custom move and tweaked with the moveset. Also grammar check.]
5: Based on Luke's feedback. Burst got+20 Atk -10 SpA. Zen got it's ability changed again, this time to a much fitting and non hindering one, comatose, also got it's moveset tweaked to play around sleep. IceBurn got their moveset tweaked, inclined to buff it's defensive pivot half.

:ss/Darmanitan:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan
Stat Changes: 110 HP / 135 Atk / 55 Def / 30 SpA / 55 SpD / 95 Spe
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Sheer Force | HA: Anger Point
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Bulk Up, +Close Combat, +Drain Punch
What Separates it from Other Forms: Darmanitan here has the infamous Fire Fighting typing, which in reality is not that bad of a typing. Bulk Up gives it options to set up to break walls, but I do not think LO will be the standard item for Darm anymore.

:ss/Darmanitan-Galar:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan-Galar
Stat Changes: 110 HP / 125 Atk / 55 Def / 30 SpA / 70 SpD / 85 Spe
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Oblivious | HA: Fluffy
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Ice Shard, +Swords Dance, +Triple Axel, +High Horsepower, +Bulldoze, +Stealth Rock
What Separates it from Other Forms: Instead of being a straight hard hitting breaker like it's vanilla form, GDarm takes a slightly bulkier approach, utilizing Fluffy to be able to pivot into all manner of physical contact attacks.

:ss/Darmanitan:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan
Stat Changes: 105/140/75/50/75/95 [BST 540]
Typing Changes: Fire/Dark
Ability Changes: Sheer Force/Strong Jaw
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Crunch +Knock Off +Psychic Fangs +Thunder Fang
What Separates it from Other Forms: It's Darmanitan but now it's all rowdy and evil. Also I gave it strong jaw because LOOK AT ITS GODDAMN TEETH! THEY LOOK LIKE THEY CAN BITE THROUGH SOLID METAL WITH EASE! HOLY FUCKING SHIT! Anyway it has new dark STAB flavor.

:ss/Darmanitan-Zen:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan-Zen
Stat Changes: 105/20/105/140/105/65
Typing Changes: None
Ability Changes: Levitate
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Teleport +Scorching Sands +Recover +Defog
What Separates it from Other Forms: By reaching the enlightened state of nirvana Darmanitan-Zen becomes something more defensive. It does not wish to cause any physical harm to anything, even the very earth itself and thus it floats. However if you wish to fight it head on you'll see that this pacifist can still utterly decimate you if it so chooses. It clears its mind from the fog of despair so well that it actually manages to clear the fog of the physical world as well.

Its the Galarian forms. The first form us very strong, and while the abuluties may be currently null and void, they still have the potential to get out of hand. Ice Fighting is also just reallly good.

The Galar Zen is just broken. Sheer Force is easy to balance on physical attackers because most good moves on the physical spectrum are not affected, and SF physical moves almost always cap at sub 90,vand the 3 or so that bypass that usually have enough drawbacks or limited distribution to hold them in. Burns and Intimidate rack ip on that too. Special has no such quams, and Sheer Force is usually just a straight up buff. 140 SpA SF, even with a potential boots limiter, is ovscene. Landorus got banned at 115, and Nidoking bullies balance with 85. please handle as necessary.

Same argument for Zen as above, Sheer Force special attackers with 140 special attack can probably break Blissey. Please. I think even without Sheer Force the SpA is probably too high with the restvof its statline and a solid typing like Ground Psychic.

That 140 Atk STAB Rock Head Head Smash? no.

Darm Zen Galar-s statline is brooen even on its base typing l, but backed up by Fluffy, a great ttping that isnt crippled by Rocks? Broken broken broken. Please nerf accordingly.

Future Sight and Doom Desire serve as your only decent stab since I deleted psychic, extrasensory and expanding force moves that can do something while you switch around, speaking about that, this wall is aided by Parting Shot, a move that under Stall it's a stat-lowering Teleport, with the downside of being able to be Magic Bounced/Magic Coated. Moves it can try to use with the og moveset are Iron Defense, Yawn, WoW and Sub. Overall you can think of this pokemon as a defensive Mew or a Clefable with better stats (and a hindering ability).

Spare my heart, and just swap around the offensive stats on the base Darm (Atk, SpA)..

Darm Zen here has pretty solid structure, but the removal of all STAB options and the crippling ability of Stall perplexes me. Why does this Pokémon want to have StallM it has no tools to abuse it and removing its stabs rids it of any means of existing on anything outside of hard stall. Even on Stall it will face plenty of comp as more Steels come. I just fear you arecsetting up this pokemon for failure. .

I genuinely have no thoughts on GDarm. So there is that.

I love the concept here, but i must say, Zen GDarm has little tools to be a good wall or defensive pivot. At least give ut recovery and some extra utility to balance out its horrid typing. Otherwise its ok.

Here are the winners!
:ss/Darmanitan:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan
Stat Changes: 105/140/75/50/75/95 [BST 540]
Typing Changes: Fire/Dark
Ability Changes: Sheer Force/Strong Jaw
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Crunch +Knock Off +Psychic Fangs +Thunder Fang
What Separates it from Other Forms: It's Darmanitan but now it's all rowdy and evil. Also I gave it strong jaw because LOOK AT ITS GODDAMN TEETH! THEY LOOK LIKE THEY CAN BITE THROUGH SOLID METAL WITH EASE! HOLY FUCKING SHIT! Anyway it has new dark STAB flavor.
:ss/Darmanitan-Zen:
We also had a tie between both versions of Galarian Darmanitan. I did a random pick me on Showdown and got Scoopapa for GDarm and PokeVarios for GDarm-Zen. Congratz to all of our winners!

:ss/darmanitan-galar:
New Pokémon Name: Darmanitan-Galar
Stat Changes: 80/135/105/95/50/105 | 570 BST
Typing Changes:
Max Knuckle - Fighting-type
Max Flare - Fire-type

Ability Changes: No Guard
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Triple Axel, Ice Shard, Accelerock,
What Separates it from Other Forms: Wall breaker with a really good offensive movepool but an unfortunate defensive type.
Well up next is a very important and very highly anticipated slate, we have the...

This slate in particular is important to note because it contains several Uber and even AG level Pokemon (and Aegislash), and these Pokemon must be balanced to be able to play amongst the existing Pokemon that we have so far. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on the status of these submissions, and will be even more stringent than the previous slates. You must also make sure that they can be distinct enough from each other so that while they may compete, they should not ultimately outclass each other. Slate ends next week Wednesday!

We also have slots currently available for an Alternatium Council, so please contact me or RODG on either Discord or Smogon for more information if interested!

Very well, I hope you have a great time!

Work!
New Pokémon Name: Aegislash

What Separates it from Other Forms: Killer defensive typing held back by low speed and minimal offensive stats

New Pokémon Name: Zacian
Stat Changes: 82 / 100 / 85 / 70 / 85 / 108 (530 BST)
Typing Changes: Fairy / Fighting
Ability Changes: Misty Surge
Movepool Additions (If Any): -Wild Charge, -Psychic Fangs
What Separates it from Other Forms: set up SD attacker with a status immunity, which is helpful since it hates burn and paralysis

New Pokémon Name: Zacian-Crowned
Stat Changes: 82 / 120 / 105 / 70 / 105 / 48 (530 BST)
Typing Changes: Fairy / Steel
Ability Changes: Battle Armor
Movepool Additions (If Any): same as regular Zacian
What Separates it from Other Forms: SD breaker, but this power and bulk comes at the cost of a significant speed penalty

having a hall of fame would help a lot in referencing power level, speed tiers are pretty high so being slower than base 95 makes most of the metagame outspeed submissions

:xy/zacian:
New Pokémon Name:
Stat Changes: 80/115/100/80/70/110 (555 BST)
Typing Changes: no
Ability Changes: Tough Claws/Hyper Cutter
Movepool Additions (If Any): Extremespeed, Leaf Blade, U-Turn, Spikes, Brick Break
What Separates it from Other Forms: What makes zacian so distinct from other fast offensive winners its off course its combination of immediate speed and power in addition to spikes, strong priority and great coverage (pivoting is rather common so not really a selling point here).

:xy/zacian-crowned:
New Pokémon Name:
Stat Changes: 110/75/120/80/90/80 (555 BST)
Typing Changes: no
Ability Changes: no
Movepool Additions (If Any): Roar, Leaf Blade, Flash Cannon, U-turn, Spikes, Brick Break, Meteor Mash, Heavy Slam
Behemoth Blade: steel type close combat clone (100bp 8pp doubled damage vs dynamaxed targets-> 120bp 8pp both defenses -1 after use)
What Separates it from Other Forms: This pokemon sacrifices attack points and gets outsped by the vast majority of pokemon but makes up for it with great bulk and one of the best defensive types on the game, compared to its more offensive variant it makes for a more reliable spiker as well as an ok slow pivot. The bst gain might seem big for a small atk drop at first but being outsped by so many threats in the metagame while being weak to common coverage, on top of attack drops being incremental more than make up for it in my eyes.

:xy/zamazenta:
New Pokémon Name:
Stat Changes: 115/100/60/80/90/110 (555 BST)
Typing Changes: no
Ability Changes: Fur Coat/Intimidate
Movepool Additions (If Any): Body Press, Body Slam, Circle Throw, Counter, Revenge, Seismic Toss, Aura Sphere, Bulk Up, Roar, Parting Shot, King's Shield (see aegislash shield for a king's shield effect change)
What Separates it from Other Forms: While its more offensive sibling gets away with one of the strongest priority moves in the game and a hazard that when supported becomes amazing for wearing down defensive teams, Zamazenta its more relevant for its defensive utility, stealth rocks are the more reliable hazard while natural access to screens with good speed and great bulk makes it a great lead, movepool additions might look overboard but anyone with a pair of eyes should be able to see how bare it is when compared to zacian, body press its a move that should have been given to this pokemon imho, body slam helps in spreading paralyzis, circle throw its a damaging alternative to roar; counter, revenge and roar help fit the whole shield pokemon theme, while aura sphere and bulk up aren't uncommon in fighting types, parting shot while out of place as a dark type only move helps in giving a parallel to zacian as a non-damaging pivoting option. Overall this is a fast bulky pokemon with decent utility.

:xy/zamazenta-crowned:
New Pokémon Name:
Stat Changes: 120/75/90/80/110/80 (555 BST)
Typing Changes: no
Ability Changes: no
Movepool Additions (If Any): Body Press, Body Slam, Circle Throw, Counter, Revenge, Seismic Toss, Aura Sphere, Bulk Up, Roar, Wish, Parting Shot, Meteor Mash, Heavy Slam, King's Shield (see aegislash shield for a king's shield effect change)
Behemoth Bash: Steel type Body Press clone (100bp 8pp doubled damage vs dynamaxed targets-> 80bp 16pp Uses user's Def stat as Atk in damage calculation.)
What Separates it from Other Forms: Compared to the fast pivot variant and its bulky sibling, this form distinguishes itself by having access to recovery in wish, combined with its bulk and newfound body press clone this is a more solid wall overall with very good "defensive" coverage.

:xy/aegislash:
New Pokémon Name:
Stat Changes: -10 defense, -10 special defense
Typing Changes: no
Ability Changes: Regenerator
Movepool Additions: +Knock Off, Behemoth Bash, Will-o-Wisp, Poltergeist, Rapid Spin, Magic Coat, Mirror Coat, Metal Burst, Teleport; -Head Smash, Close Combat, Swords Dance
Kings Shield: Protects from damaging attacks. Contact: +1 Defense to the user.
What Separates it from Other Forms: Compared to the crowned siblings this aegislash has less bulk and no offensive presence but it has extra tools to support a team in the form of knock off, spreading burns with will o wisp and clearing hazards with rapid spin, mirror coat and metal burst punish careless attackers while magic coat helps in bouncing back taunts or hazards, ghost steel its a great defensive typing and this pokemon can make for a good spin blocker, the niche option of ghost type curse + regenerator is bound to be fun to try out too, the new effect of king's shield its more consistent than a attack drop since defiant users just get an attack boost and everything else can just switch out, the addition of teleport also means this pokemon is not a complete momentum sink.

:xy/aegislash-blade:
New Pokémon Name:
Stat Changes: 60/100/55/80/55/130
Typing Changes: Dark/Steel
Ability Changes: Magic Bounce
Movepool Additions: +Knock Off, Dark Pulse, Sucker Punch, Night Slash, Behemoth Blade, Aura Sphere, Doom Desire; -King's Shield, Head Smash, Destiny Bond, Shadow Ball, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak
What Separates it from Other Forms: This form of aegislash offers a better speed tier than most offensive pokemon and has great coverage, while suffering from paper-thin bulk and having less immediate power than other alternatives; Magic Bounce encourages switching into passive pokemon that rely on status moves and the combination of dark, steel and fighting coverage makes this a pokemon that is hard to play around defensively, its not entirely mindless however, things like lack of pivoting and atk being sub-par when compared to other breakers and set up sweepers make this pokemon lean to prediction reliant choiced sets or setting up with swords dance if it wants to deal good damage, something that might be hard to pull off with a mere 60/55/55 bulk.

DID SOME CHANGES a bit unsure on the new zamazenta-c stats, just hmu in discord for that one if you aren't comfortable with double posting, just editing the feedback post can work too but since edits don't send notifications it might take some time before i see it

We'll have to add a ton of anti steel mons next slate cause we're adding 2-4 right now, depending on the winning subs.

:xy/zacian:
New Pokémon Name: Zacian
Stat Changes: 80/100/80/100/80/100 BST:540
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Justified / Queenly Majesty
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Earth Power +Swords Dance
What Separates it from Other Forms: Sweeper with average stats, losing the powerful SD in exchange of a viable Work Up mixed set, 100 speed is decent considering the current meta. Queenly Majesty is a great ability no matter the mon.

:xy/zacian-crowned:
New Pokémon Name: Zacian Crowned
Stat Changes: 50/110/60/110/60/120 BST:520
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Sturdy
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Dark Pulse +Earth Power +Flash Cannon -Swords Dance
What Separates it from Other Forms: Glass cannon that can be either physical with Behemoth Blade/Play Rough, Special with Flash Cannon/Moonblast or mixed with Work Up. Sturdy complement it's squishyness, by taking a possible priority move or a safe Work Up.

:xy/zamazenta:
New Pokémon Name: Zamazenta
Stat Changes: 100/80/100/80/100/80 BST:540
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Scrappy / Strong Jaw
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Amnesia +Seismic Toss
What Separates it from Other Forms: Bulky mon on both sides, able to run Amnesia/Iron Defense/Rest/Seismic Toss with Scrappy for an amazing setup wall or a Strong Jaw of colorful attacks.

:xy/zamazenta-crowned:
New Pokémon Name: Zamazenta Armored+
Stat Changes: 120/60/110/60/110/50 BST:520
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Regenerator
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Wish
What Separates it from Other Forms: Wish abuser with Regenerator, Although no switch moves so it isn't tanking the hit for the switch-in. Amazing Wall with a decent STAB, although horrid attacking stats, you would run Behemoth Bash only to not die to Taunt.

:xy/aegislash:
New Pokémon Name: Aegislash Fortress
Stat Changes: 90/75/90/80/85/80 BST:500
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Shadow Shield / Prankster
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Recover +Light Screen +Reflect +Parting Shot
What Separates it from Other Forms: A more balanced approach to Aegislash but since we'll be introducing 2 tanky steel types with the zamazentas I wanted this one to be different. Shadow Shield is amazing with Recover and Prankster with Screens and Parting Shot is juicy. It still has decent attacking stats so running a STAB move won't hurt. Also 80 Speed will outspeed slow walls.

:xy/aegislash-blade:
New Pokémon Name: Aegislash Storm
Stat Changes: 75/85/70/80/70/80 BST:460
Typing Changes:

Ability Changes: Technician
Movepool Additions (If Any): +Gear Grind +Bullet Punch +Shift Gear +Beat Up
What Separates it from Other Forms: Straight to the point, Technician Gear Grind is amazing, combined with Shift Gear, Pursuit, Beat Up and Bullet Punch the mon has catastrophic attacks. That is balanced by a horrid 460 BST, Aegislash Storm's highest stat is 85 atk and it's natural speed tier is laughable compared to the current mons on the mod, if you want to sweep you have to carefully play this out by giving yourself some free setup space, if you manage to setup with the mon you'll at least get a few KOs.
EDIT1: Replaced Double Iron Bash with Gear Grind

Work Up and Amnesia are very bad and are not on any viable sets of any notable Pokemon, so balancing something around them is a bad idea.

Also I think Double Iron Bash is too strong on Aegislash, not because of power, but its Flinch chance. I suggest using another move like Gear Grind.

New Pokémon Name:
Stat Changes: 120/120/60/80/90/80 (550 BST)

New Pokémon Name:
Stat Changes: 60/100/55/80/55/130

DID SOME CHANGES if they look problematic message me and tell me what i should change
Did a check also, and i think, based on the speed given, that around 70 to 75 attack is probably the optimal attack to pair with Intrepid Sword on that particular submission. While as shown in Ubers and various other metagames with alternate abilities, Dauntless Shield is not in the same boat as Intrepid Sword, and does not need the drastic nerf that IS does. Just dont pair with Recover esqe moves and you would be good.

New Pokémon Name: Aegislash
Stat Changes: blade form stats
Typing Changes: Ghost / Fighting
Ability Changes: Defiant
Movepool Additions (If Any): none
What Separates it from Other Forms: Brutal offensive typing held back by awful bulk and speed.

New Pokémon Name: Aegishield
Stat Changes: shield form base stats
Typing Changes: Ghost / Steel
Ability Changes: Clear Body
Movepool Additions (If Any): Slack Off, Night Shade

New Pokémon Name: Zamazenta
Stat Changes: 82 / 120 / 105 / 50 / 105 / 68 (530 BST)
Typing Changes: Fighting / Dark
Ability Changes: Strong Jaw
Movepool Additions (If Any): Knock Off
What Separates it from Other Forms: big defensive tank that still manages a lot of offensive utility through Knock Off

New Pokémon Name: Zamazenta-Crowned
Stat Changes: 82 / 90 / 120 / 50 / 120 / 68 (530 BST)
Typing Changes: Fighting / Steel
Ability Changes: Stamina
Movepool Additions (If Any): Knock Off
What Separates it from Other Forms: Great defensive bulk with a Toxic immunity. Is lacking a recovery move and will not hit hard without investment.
having a hall of fame would help a lot in referencing power level, speed tiers are pretty high so being slower than base 95 makes most of the metagame outspeed submissions

Just noting that i think Steelworker on Zacian-Crowned is a bit too powerful.

Anyways here are my subs. (Work in Progress)
