An Army of Threats

I decided to slap a team together with what I consider some of the biggest threats in the meta-game right now. This is team focuses on constantly punching holes in your opponents team till you can set up and sweep with Lucario or Aegislash.
Lucario @ Lucarionite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Bullet Punch
- Swords Dance
- Crunch/Ice Punch

I choose Lucario as my mega because he is easily the best offensive mega since Kangaskhan has been banned. Lucario can either be used as a bruiser to punch holes in your opponents team, or you can SD late game. The first three moves are neccesary but the last move can be ice punch or crunch. I prefer crunch because I dislike Aegislash more than I dislike Gliscor.

Dragonite @ Choice Band
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
- Fire Punch

This is a Poke I used last gen. Its bulky enough to take a few hits and strong enough to hit back hard. I use D-nite primarily for punching holes in the enemy team.

Genesect @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt

Genesect is another bruiser from last gen. He can revenge kill threats or scout with u-turn. Sadly he and rotom are the only things that stand up to gliscor.

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Def
Bold Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest

Rotom is my only real wall on my team. He is there to scout with volt switch, and absorb status that he can get rid of using rest. I understand that pain split is now avaliable from Pokebank, but rest is necessary so I can absorb statuses.

Deoxys-Speed @ Red Card
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Superpower
- Knock Off
- Taunt

My suicide lead. Hie job is to prevent rocks with taunt, knock off my enemy's useful items, set up my own rocks, and maybe get a kill with superpower. I used to run Psycho Boost on this set, nut I found knock off more useful so I changed it.

Aegislash @ Leftovers
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Lonely Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Sacred Sword
- King's Shield

My other sweeper. He has served me well, and has only been troubled by gliscor. I am even able to go Aegislash vs Aegislash due to good prediction.

I understand I need a rapid spinner/defogger, but I don't know who I should switch out and who I should pick as my spinner. Well, thanks for any suggestion guys.

Hi :) im fairly new to this but have some experience with competitive play. One major thing you should change on your team is your aegislash. It has a lonely nature with 4 sp atk evs when it has no special attacking moves. I use an aegislash myself and know that a mixed aegis without swords dance and with the addition of shadow ball is strong, but I would reccomend either a brave or adamant nature with the current moveset. As a main sweeper, this set is quite strong and offers decent coverage and reliability. The brave nature is preferable because if aegialash is slower when it is hit, it will still be in shield form, before kings shielding or shadow sneaking the next turn to go back into shield form or ko your opponent. Leftovers is decent but I find that aegis is bulky enough to live at least one super effective attack and so is effective with a weakness policy, but its up to you. :) Imo the team works quite well altogether, but a bulkier poke with defog or rapid spin such as mandibuzz or forretress (who could also be an effective stealth rock lead) would improve your team. I also feel like your dragonite set could be changed, possibly to the very popular dragon dance set. With an adamant nature, 252 atk evs, 108 hp evs and 136 evs in speed, and multiscale almost garuanteeing one dragon dance, means you can set up a powerful, bulky sweep. Without the choice band, you can freely choose any move of choice while also setting up, also raising your speed stat. The best item for this set is leftovers and the full moveset should be dragon claw, earthquake/fire punch, dragon dance, roost/extreme speed/outrage. These are some of things you could do to possibly make your team better. Hope I helped :)

Hello.
Your descriptions are too short to fit the RMT rules requirements.
I encourage you to PM me an updated version of this team with beefed up descriptions, and since you're new, to join the Mentor Program. I'll be unlocking this thread after that.

Have a nice day.
