an experiment with a few UUs and OUs

Overview: Ok guys, i've decided to stop using pure OU and standard sets for a little more surprise and tactics. Some of them are standard and some of them are taken off other trainers which i will mention.

Lead: Suizelf

Azelf@Focus Sash
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Sp / 252 Atk / 6 HP
Stealth Rock
U-Turn
Explosion
Taunt

Ah the suicide lead that Justinawe used. This lead has been absolutely awesome for me, as SR is a really important factor whenever i make a team. Taunt takes care of opposing leads that can set up rocks and allows me to set up my own. It also is speedy at its job and gets it done pretty awesomely (is that a word?). Anyways i set-up U-Turn the hell out of there and bring it back in as death fodder or to explode on a key sweeper on their team.

Weezing?!?!

Weezing@Leftovers
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Will-O-Wisp
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
Pain Split

My defensive wall. It's never failed me at its job. Weezing is so awesome, completely walling the dreaded Heracross as well as Infernape. It also can burn opposing sweepers like Gyarados or Salamence, crippling their attack power. I pack both Flamethrower and T-Bolt for more coverage against steels and Gyarados and Pain Split for chopping down a Blissey's massive health and adding to mine.

Edward Scissorhands

Scizor@Salac Berry
Swarm
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Sp / 4 Def
(30 HP IVs)
Substitute
Swords Dance
X-Scissor
Brick Break

Ah Subsalac Scizor. This set worked wonders for me with Heracross, so I decided to try it with Scizor, one of my favorite bug types that is also immune to the terrible sandstorm. 30 HP IVs so that i can get substitute divisible by 4 and activate the Salac earlier. I simply send it in on something that's feared by it and set up a sub. I then SD up while they try to break my sub and activate salac. I can simply sweep from there on. I haven't tested this yet and i know that it won't do as much damage as a Subsalac Heracross so i might use the Technician Quick Attack set instead.

Trogdor

Salamence@Life Orb
Jolly Nature
EVs: 224 HP / 12 Atk / 196 Def / 76 Sp
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Roost

Another version of Salamence taken from Justinawe. This bulkymence according to him should be able to survive 2 Lucario Extremespeeds and a Scarfchomp's Outrage. This gives me time to Dragon Dance and exterminate anything that isn't named Bronzong in my path. I use Roost to get rid of that blasted Life Orb recoil.

Light Fish

Lanturn@Leftovers
Calm Nature
EVs: 40 HP / 136 SpA / 252 SpD / 80 Sp
Thunderbolt
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunder Wave

Ho ho a little surprise on my team. This Pokemon doesn't look TOO impressive, but if you look at its defensive typing then suddenly it looks a lot better. First of all, Grass Knot only has 40 Base power when used on this thing due to it being light (in the weight way lol). Not to mention it can absorb things like Fire Blast, any opposing Thunder Wave or electric attack, and Ice Beam. It can also proceed to paralyze back with a T-Wave of its own. Haven't tested this out yet but im eager to try it.

DNA

Deoxys-S@Expert Belt
Naive Nature
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Sp
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Superpower

Pretty standard, except that i run max speed to outspeed opposing Deoxys-S. It's a pretty handy late game sweeper but i'm getting kinda bored of it so if anyone wants to help me find a replacement for this, they are really welcome to.

Ok guys, rate away! I haven't tested this team yet but I have high hopes for this team. Say whatever you have to say, suggest whatever you have to suggest and thanks for helping! I also might consider Dusknoir for Weezing

Are my eyes seeing this straight? an OU team with some originality? props to you man, props to you! I've been waiting for this. Unfortunately I don't play OU but good luck.

hahaha thanks dude i've been looking at other people's teams on this board and i've decided to try my luck at making my own. thanks a lot really!

Why don't you try sub-salac manectric as your lategame sweeper and replace scizzors with something else?

Also, if you aren't worried about hitting Gyarados SE, then try HP Dragon as it allows you to hit everything for neutral damage besides Heatran

well mainly because scizor's attack is highly more impressive and although i use 2 UU's, this is meant for the OU environment. I just like using some UUs since players sometimes dont know what to do when they pop up, allowing my strategies to work more. Plus, subsalac scizor isn't a usual standard set for a scizor, making setting up easier for me

hmm i was thinking about using that set since it's unique to scizor. I'll try the subsalac set for a while since people won't expect it as much and if things go wrong then ill switch it for the Technician Quick Attack set
