Instead of you having to activate the battle timer manually every time when playing (eliminating tournaments where sometimes time can be mandatory and [Gen 8] Random Battle (Blitz), there could be an option where all your battles have time activated automatically once the battle starts. You could turn this mode on or off.
It would be nice to put an option below "Don't allow spectators" to automatically activate time in all your battles (ladder, challenges or tournaments).
