An OU team about Robots/Cities

You all know how strong Mega Scizor is? Well, this is my attempt at using it in a team. (probably bad idk i cant make teams) (Changes in bold)

Special Sweeper
suicune.gif

Pokemon: Suicune (Nickname: do not taunt)
Nature: Bold
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
252 HP 252 Def 4 SpA

Scald|Calm Mind| Rest| Sleep Talk

So, it's this annoying ass set. Suicune can tear holes into things once it gets set up unless there is a critical hit involved. My team is weak to Mega Gyarados so I run Suicune to stop it. Scald is to burn Pokemon so Suicune can take hits from the physical side even better (Why I don't run Surf)

Physical Sweeper
scizor-mega.gif

Pokemon: Scizor (Nickname: ROBOT CITY)
Nature: Adamant
Item: Scizorite
Ability: Technician
252 HP 124 Atk 132 Spe
Roost
|Swords Dace|Knock Off|Bullet Punch

As you can clearly see, Mega Scizor is BULKY. I run knock off instead of Bug Bite to hit steels but also hit ghosts which would not get hit from brick break/superpower. Roost is to (obviously) restore HP since Mega Scizor has no recovery. 132 Speed may look random but it lets it outspeed Standard Rotom-W and Landorus-T if it doesn't run any speed.

Spinner

excadrill.gif

Pokemon: Excadrill (Nickname: Resseti)
Nature: Jolly
Item: Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
252 Atk 248 HP 8 Spe
Rock Slide
|Iron Head|Earthquake|Rapid Spin

Excadrill is a good hard hitter/spinner. I run Rock Slide to hit Zapdos which can wall Excadrill almost entirely if I didn't. I needed a spinner so Excadrill fit that spot nicely as it resits rocks and can dodge spikes with Air Balloon. I don't run stealth rock because the ability to hit fairies was a lot more important than having rocks on it since Excadrill is frail.

Special Wall
chansey.gif

Pokemon: Chansey
Nature: Bold
Item: Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
252 HP 252 Def 4 SpD
Counter|Seismic Toss|Soft-boiled|Stealth Rock

Chansey is the next level of Special wall. Eviolite boosts it to crazy defenses with high HP helping it out even more. Counter is for Pokemon that use any physical attacks on it, because with Eviolite it can take most unboosted physical attacks and retaliate with an extremely powerful hit. Since this team is mostly defensive based, I run stealth rock on Chansey.

Support
sableye.gif

Pokemon: Sableye
Nature: Careful
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
252 HP 252 SpD 4 Spe
Will-o-Wisp|Taunt|Foul Play|Recover

Sableye is used to burn stuff, the end. Will-o-Wisp is for strong physical attackers like Aegislash, which can do a lot of damage tot his team. Taunt is to shut down walls, and stop things that like to set up. I have 4 speed EV's to outspeed other Sableyes and Azumarill (which usually don't run speed) and Taunt/Burn them to weaken both of them quite a bit. Foul Play is to hit Bisharp and some other physical attackers that will set up on Sableye (Mega Mawile, Aegislash etc.)

Physical Wall
quagsire.gif

Pokemon: Quagsire (Nickname: BEST MON)
Nature: Relaxed
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
252 HP 252 Def 4 SpD
Scald|Earthquake|Recover|Encore

Quagsire can COMPLETELY stop things that set up. This team was weak to things that set up like Clefable so I added Quagsire so they couldn't destroy this team. I run Scald to burn Physical attackers since Quagsires physical defense is still not that great (85 isn't something that can take hits for days) and Earthquake to hit steels.

Hello.

Pretty interesting team you have here, I like the use of Quagsire, I agree it's a great to stop set up sweepers. So enough chit-chat and onto the team itself:

I see stuff like the Blobs being a problem, as if your Scizor goes down, you pretty much can do nothing about them. I also see that faster team could rip this team apart as your team is horrendously slow, the fast poke being Thundurus.

Wallsbreakers like Mega Mawile could potencially rip you apart as well, because basically Sableye will still die, even if Mawile is burned thanks to Huge Power. Bisharp could pose a problem if your opponent predicts your Zapdos to Defog and sends in their Bisharp to wreck shop at +2 thanks to Defiant.

252+ Atk Huge Power burned Mega Mawile Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Sableye: 351-414 (115.4 - 136.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

And you also lack hazard support which proves to be quite bad, because your team is very defensively based.

So with the issues aside, time for the rate:

I would recommend you try out Air Balloon Excadrill>Zapdos as it can help you set up Rocks, and provide you with a Fairy Resist, as well as with both Rapid Spin support and Stealth Rock support which can be pretty helpful as you have Thundurus which hates Rocks. And I also find your team reallly susceptible to entry hazards and Excadrill gets rid of the opposing hazards for you. As well as helping you remove a Stealth Rock Weakness which is very nice.

I would also recommend you try out Lead Deoxys-Speed>Sableye which helps set up Spikes and to disrupt the opponent with Taunt as it is easily the fastest Pokemon ever. And it goes well with Excadrill at setting up hazards while avoiding the opponent to set up hazards on you, thanks to Taunt.

On Mega Scizor, I recommend you try out an EV Spread of 252 HP / 124 Atk / 132 Speed with Adamant, this spread has just enough speed, to outspeed any Jolly Azumarill and outprioritize it with your Bullet Punch. With 132 speed, you hit 219 speed, which speed creeps it, no matter what. And with 124 Atk+ you hit 402 Attack which is still very solid, I personally use this spread.

Sets:
Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
-Rapid Spin
-Earthquake
-Iron Head
-Swords Dance / Rock Slide / Shadow Claw

Deoxys-Speed @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe / 4 SAtk
IVs: 0 Atk
Timid Nature
-Stealth Rock
-Spikes
-Taunt
-Psycho Boost / Ice Beam

Hope my suggestions were helpful, or at least thought-provoking.

Good luck and have fun!

This is a nice team, however there's a few problems with it. First of all, I think Scizor's moveset should be changed a bit. On stall like this, you want all of your Pokemon to be able to take hits for the whole game because XY stall needs all Pokemon to cover all the threats there are. Therefore, I suggest you put Roost in Substitute's place. Roost abuses Mega Scizor's excellent bulk by allowing you to set up multiple Swords Dances. While Sub allows you to evade Will-O-Wisp and other annoying status afflictions, it doesn't really do much else for Scizor that Roost can't do.

I also recommend you try Aromatherapy instead of Counter on your Chansey. Counter is very nice, but on a stall like this moves like Toxic and Will-O-Wisp are very threatening and Aromatherapy gives you something to fight them. It also means you really don't need Sub at all on Scizor anymore which is quite nice. Also, you might want to use Soft-Boiled + Toxic instead of Wish + Protect since most of your Pokemon already have recovery, and Toxic allows you to cripple things like Landorus-Therian on the switch and works quite well with Chansey's stellar stalling capabilities.

Also, I'd say Thundurus looks really out of place on this team. You already have Zapdos, which makes its typing resistances very redundant. On a stall team, it's important to cover the most you can and avoid redundancy. Not only that, but Thundurus itself fits offensive teams better, especially with that moveset. Since your team is rather weak to Mega Gyarados, perhaps you should try a Calm Mind Suicune instead. Suicune is a very reliable sweeper for this kind of team, since a lot of teams are not prepared for it. It also takes little from Gyarados's attacks and can net the potential Scald burn on it, and if you use it repeatedly you'll eventually get it.

set:
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Calm Mind

Also, I'm not sure Infestation is very effective on Quagsire. Try to use Toxic instead, which allows you to stall out many things like Latios that would like to switch into you. Also, Protect isn't that great alongside Recover, so I'd try Earthquake instead, which means you can deal reliable damage against all kind of Steel types. (use a Relaxed nature though).

Hope I helped!

- Thundurus looks good, not because I use the same set though lol xD

- Please use Roost on Mega-Scizor instead of Substitute. It's so much helpful later in a battle, increasing your longetivity. Also, may want to use Bug Bite instead of Knock Off on Scizor. STAB + Technician is cool. You don't have to, I understand the utility of Knock Off.

- Zapdos is good, use it for sure.

- Counter on Chansey is awesome, keep that too.

- Sableye should have Foul Play instead of Knock Off. I understand the utility of Knock Off, but Foul Play has 95 BP and hurts physical attackers.

- Infestation on Quagsire? NOOOOO. Use Encore instead, it's so much better.

Great team. 8/10.
