An OU Team In Need of Dire Help

My recent OU teams are horrible. I really want to make a good one, but all of my attempts fail. I hope I can pull through this time. If not, this is my last attempt.

Uxie @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 Hp, 200 Sp-Def, 52 Speed, 4 Def

- Stealth Rock
- U-Turn
- Yawn
- Reflect

He's a great lead. Yawn the first turn, set up Reflect/Stealth Rock the second, and U-Turn to switch out if the foe brings out a counter. Uxie can easily switch into a sweeper, take a hit, Yawn to make them switch or set up Reflect to make the sweeper less of a threat, and U-Turn back out.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 Def, 80 Sp-Att, 176 Sp-Def
- Wish
- Protect
- Flamethrower/Ice Beam?
- Toxic
Blissey is still the #1 special wall. Toxic is great for its stalling, and Wish + Protect not only mirrors Softboiled, but adds on to stalling potential. The special move is so that Blissey has something to do while she's stalling.

dpmba059.png

Arcanine @ Life Orb REPLACE FOR INFERNAPE?
Ability: Intimidate

Nature: Naive
EVs:
252 Speed, 180 Sp-Att, 72 Att, 4 HP

- Dragon Pulse
- ExtremeSpeed
- Flare Blitz
- HP Ground

A mixed sweeper. Flare Blitz and ExtremeSpeed are deadly on Arcanine, and HP Ground provides more type coverage. Dragon Pulse hits many things neutral and hard.

dpmba130.png

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate

Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Att, 178 Speed, 80 HP

- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall

Standard sweeping Gyarados. Nothing resists water/ice/ground combo, and after a DD or two, not much can step up to this beast.

dpmba461.png

Weavile @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Att, 216 Speed, 40 HP
Nature: Jolly

- Pursuit
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break
- Aerial Ace

A revenge killer of sorts. Weavile comes in and hits hard. His type coverage is good enough to kill off at least two pokes before biting the dust. After all, that's his role: come in, kill, die.

dpmba110.png

Weezing @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP, 176 Def, 80 Sp-Att

- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
- Pain Split

My physical wall. Weezing can take on things much of the rest of the team can't. makeshift Boltbeam coverage, as well as a nice healing move. Will-O-Wisp cripples sweepers, which Weezing does well walling in the first place.

---

That is the team. I am looking forward to any and all comments on it. I really want to pull this whole team together. If that means replacing all but one pokemon, I will surely do that.

Oh man I was so tired last night. I can't believe I typed that bad team. I fixed it up, so its a lot better now.

I'm considering Uxie over Honchkrow for a few reasons:
1) U-Turn
2) Stealth Rock
3) Yawn can replace Thunder Wave

Right now I'm not sure though. Whirlwinding/Thunder Waving is also a good tactic. And Sucker Punch is really enticing.

dpmba480.png

Uxie @ Leftovers/Light Clay?
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Sp-Def

- Stealth Rock
- U-Turn
- Yawn
- Protect/Reflect?

Uxie can easily switch out to a sweeper, provide support with Reflect, Yawn to force a switch, and Stealth Rock to cripple the foe. He's a great lead.

Right now I'm interested in a spiker team to wear down the foe, or a team that cripples the opponent with Twave, Burns, Toxic, and then let loose the sweepers to finish them off.

Honchkrow @ Focus Sash
Ability: Insomnia
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Att, 252 Speed, 6 Def

- Drill Peck
- Whirlwind
- Sucker Punch
- Thunder Wave

First move is sucker punch if the opponent looks like they'll use an electric move. Whirlwind them if they're an annoying lead, and Thunder Wave whatever comes out. This is a great way to cripple the other team, and makes it easier on Gyarados and the rest of my team.

Definately use Uxie over this. You can stirr up a lot of trouble with an S-Rock/Yawn/Reflect Combo. Yawn on the first turn, and then set up via Reflet/S-Rock on hte switch. Throw in Psychic for stab and run 252 Hp/ 200 SpDef/ 52 Spd/ 4 Def and a Bold Nature.
dpmba378.png

Regice @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Sp-Def

- Ice Beam/Thunderbolt?
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Seismic Toss

My special wall. Regice is a great switch-in for any special attacker with its gigantic special defense. Resttalk is even more annoying.

Personally, I would use Ice Beam over T-Bolt for coverage agianst Dragons. Other than that, this is fine.

dpmba059.png

Arcanine @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Att, 180 Speed, 76 HP

- Howl
- ExtremeSpeed
- Flare Blitz
- Iron Tail

Howl up a couple of times, and Arcanine is pumped and ready to sweep. Iron Tail hits rocks hard, Flare Blitz gives great STAB, and ExtremeSpeed is wonderful for late game when most everything has been weakened and I need to finish a few enemies off quickly. Whoever gave a priority move 80 BP at Game Freak, I love them.

Get rid of Howl and Iron Tail, seeing how Arcanine will have few to no chances to set up. Instead, you should go for a Mix-Set like this:
Arcanine
Nature:Naive/ Naughty
Item:Life Orb
Evs: 252 Spd/ 180 SpAtk/ 72 Atk/ 4 Hp
Flare Blitz
Dragon Pulse
Extreme Speed
HP [Ground]
dpmba130.png

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Att, 178 Speed, 80 HP

- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall

Standard sweeping Gyarados.
This is fine, exept you might want to consider Tuant over one of your offensive moves. Taunt stops a opposing Garydos from setting up once you've set up, seeind how at best you 2HKO an opposing Garydos with Ice Fang, or you might want Stone Edge ove Ice Fang.

dpmba065.png

Alakazam @ Life Orb/Choice Specs?
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 Sp-Att, 252 Speed, 6 Sp-Def
Nature: Timid

- Grass Knot
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Charge Beam/Hidden Power Ice?

A revenge killer of sorts. 'Zam comes in and hits hard. His type coverage is good enough to kill off at least two pokes before something defensive comes in and walls or something faster comes in and KOs. Psychic is a great move on 'Zam, which gives him STAB and hits many things neutral.

Go for Specs. And put Foucus Blast on it to prevent T-Tar and Weavile for totally walling Zam.

dpmba110.png

Weezing @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP, 176 Def, 80 Sp-Att

- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
- Pain Split

My physical wall. Weezing can take on things much of the rest of the team can't. Good type coverage, as well as a nice healing move.

Replace Fire Blast with Will-o-wisp, witch cripples Physical sweepers even after Weezing is dead/ out of play.

---

That is the team. I am looking forward to any and all comments on it. I really want to pull this whole team together. If that means replacing all but one pokemon, I will surely do that.

First off, your using uu, and bl in OU. This isn't a bad thing, but usually means that you have a smaller chance at winning imo. Bronzong completely walls this first set, maybe go with something that can stop the first 5 most used leads:

Bronzong
Gengar
Gyarados
Tyranitar
Azelf

How about a choice scarf max speed gengar? You can sleep Bronzong, outrun the other gengar and use shadow ball, use tbolt on gyarados, sleep Ttar, and hit azelf with shadow ball.
dpmba378.png

Regice @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Sp-Def

- Ice Beam/Thunderbolt?
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Seismic Toss

My special wall. Regice is a great switch-in for any special attacker with its gigantic special defense. Resttalk is even more annoying.

Use a reSTalklax. They completely counter Gengar, who looks like he can be problematic for this team. Besides that, Body slam has a 30% chance of paralyzing the opponent.
dpmba059.png

Arcanine @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Att, 180 Speed, 76 HP

- Howl
- ExtremeSpeed
- Flare Blitz
- Iron Tail

How about nasty plot a couple of times, and close combat? Infernape makes a great replacement. You can use Flare blitz also.

dpmba130.png

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Att, 178 Speed, 80 HP

- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall

Standard sweeping Gyarados.

If your interested in spiking, why don't you use a Skarmory? They are quite standard, but they do get the job done, which means that you'll have to use a different special wall (Snorlax covers skarmory's fire weakness)
dpmba065.png

In my opinion Alakazam is way too fragile for OU. If you want a revenge killer, how about something along the lines of Weavile?

dpmba110.png

Weezing @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP, 176 Def, 80 Sp-Att

- Fire Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
- Pain Split

My physical wall. Weezing can take on things much of the rest of the team can't. Good type coverage, as well as a nice healing move.

He looks standard, so I feel I don't need to comment.

Your team needs just a bit more work, and you'll be winning in no time.
---

That is the team. I am looking forward to any and all comments on it. I really want to pull this whole team together. If that means replacing all but one pokemon, I will surely do that.

Why do I see Gyarados' description as a complete let down? To be fair, even Regice's details seem to be effortless. I won't lock this thread, because everything else seems to be ideal. I am simply ensuring that you fix these problems immediately.

Alright, first of all, Regice is completely outclassed by Blissey which helps you way more overall. If you want it to take special hits better I'd recommend you run WishBliss otherwise, just focus on the Defense so you can take weak physical hits as well. I'd run WishBliss since this team needs the recovery. Run the set in the analysis. Blissey is better than Regice because of the higher base HP and no Stealth Rock weakness which takes a chunk out of Regice already. You handle Heatran better then too. Now, we go to Arcanine. The Arcanine you're running is almost the same as SDLuke which I would recommend over it. SDLuke is not Stealth Rock weak, and hits way harder with just one SD. I recommend you use Jolly over Adamant to outspeed other Lucario and Mamoswine. The moveset is, of course, Close Combat - Sword Dance - Extremespeed - Crunch. 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe.

Now Honchkrow doesn't combat the trend going on right now. I'd recommend you use the Fake Out / Anti-Lead Weavile, which is also in the analysis. This screws up all the suicidal leads out there. You first Fake Out, ruining there sash, then OHKO them.

Now we go to Alakazam, which is currently way too fragile in the hard hitting environment. I recommend you just use Timid ScarfGar as it can take care of your Deoxys-S weak. You also have another Ground immunity and a Fighting immunity. On Gengar run, T-Bolt / HP Ice / Shadow Ball / Focus Blast, Timid - Choice Scarf. Use these EVs, 52 HP / 252 SpA / 204 Speed.

Finally, run WoW over Fire Blast on Weezing.
