An Ubers Rmt

This is my first Rmt. The pokemon are Kyogre, Ho-oh, Scizor, Palkia, Landorus-T and Arceus Fairy EDIT: arceus Ghost is now Arceus Fairy. Thanks to Haxiom.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- U-turn

So, the newest revisal of the team is Landorus-t. He is my physical check to the ekiller and zekrom. Intimidate goes a long way in stopping physical attackers. He also brings the valuable stealth rock to my team. So, teams that use ho-oh, constant switching and volt turn are under pressure. The evs and nature max out physical bulk. Earthquake and stone edge form the Edgequake combo which few pokemon resist and u-turn lets me get out to better pokemon.

382.png

Kyogre @ Leftovers
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SDef / 252 Def
Bold Nature
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Scald

Kyogre is many things for me. It is my status fodder, a tertiary Xerneas check and my tank. It means Darkrai is never a problem and is also a suprise for Palkia that switch in and realise that thunder isn't going to be helpful. It works great with Ho-oh, giving it a water type sponge. The problem is they both share an electric type weakness. Zekrom is a big threat, so I use Arceus Ghost to counter it with Will-o-wisp. The Evs give it the best defense possible for setting up and Bold only helps further. Scald is used over surf because of the burn chance it can give switch in, such as Zekrom and Palkia.

250.png

Ho-Oh @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Flame Charge
- Sacred Fire
- Brave Bird
- Earthquake

Ho-oh is my main physical attacker and sweeper. The main problem with Ho-oh is its rock type weakness, and the slow speed. My Arceus has defog to counter the stealth rock. Basically the game plan for Ho-oh is to bring it in on something that has no chance of hurting it, then flame charge the switch. If flame charge gets the switch in close enough to KO range then I KO the switch in, then I KO it then sweep. Obviously I have to get rid of threats. The things that prevent sweeps are Rock Arceus (Taken down with Kyogre, Palkia and Scizor), Water Arceus is taken down with a combination of Kyogre and Palkia, Hippowdon is KOed by Kyogre , Opposing Kyogres are taken down with Palkia, and Lugia is taken down with Arceus. It is a check to Xerneas, Darkrai (sleep clause activated) and many special attackers

212.png

Scizor (Scizor-Mega) @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 16 Atk / 244 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Pursuit
- Toxic

Scizor is my Mega evo. It is my primary counter to Xerneas, that lack hidden power fire. It is also the main counter to fairy types and is a pivot. It basically is the switching tank. Scizor also helps take down dark and psychic types, and pursuit takes down mega gengar. Roost is so that it can heal up to take down other mons it needs to act as a check to. The evs help it wall and adamant is so it can attack harder. Toxic is to crush walls.

EDIT: Pursuit has been removed. Superpower gives me better coverage
EDIT: Since I changed to Arceus fairy, pursuit has been brought back to deal with mega-gengar.

mDRXKYv.gif

Arceus-Fairy @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 252 HP / 144 Def / 112 Spd
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Judgment
- Recover
- Defog
- Will-O-Wisp

Arceus fairy is my physical wall. It can take most physical attacks and then burn or attack the foe. It is my answer to Zekrom. Defog removes hazards for Ho-oh and Scizor. The evs let it take physical attacks, and timid lets it get the speed jump on other arceus forms. Will-o-wisp is my answer to physical attacks. Recover let's it stay healthy.

489.png

Palkia @ Assault Vest
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Spacial Rend
- Surf
- Fire Blast
- Thunder

Palkia is basically my Kyogre counter. It can come in on any move kyogre has, then kill it. Unless Thunder paralyzes. It also is a basic pokemon to switch to, as its moveset variety allows it to get the upper hand on most pokemon. Assault vest lessens special damage, the evs optimize speed and special attack.

Removed And Replaced R.I.P
deoxys-attack.gif

Deoxys-Attack @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
Naive Nature
- Psycho Boost
- Ice Beam
- Low Kick
- Extreme Speed

Deoxys-A is my main lead. It's job is basically for suicide purposes. It dishes out as much damage as possible, then dies. It goes up against most leads quite well. Most hazard leads usually can get get a maximum of two hazards up, which makes the job a lot easier for Arceus Ghost. It's my nuke, the thing that kills practically anything if it goes first. The Evs max out Special attack which allows Pyscho boost to rip through everything. The nature means that I am faster than Mega mewtwo Y's which may use timid. Life Orb gives me more power ( I'm not going to survive any hit). Pyscho boost is my power, and Ice Beam gives me coverage. I use Low kick over Super power since I don't want attack drops, which could mess up e-speed. E-speed gives me priority, useful for obvious reasons.

yveltal.gif

Yveltal @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Dark Aura
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Impish Nature
- Foul Play
- Taunt
- Sucker Punch
- Roost

Yveltal acts as my mixed wall. It can check and sometimes counter the ekiller after stealth rock. It can also act as a check to Mewtwo, in particular mega-mewtwo x as well as deoxys-a. The evs allow it to Tank on the Physical side as much as possible and the hp evs are so it can switch into stealth rock 5 times. Impish is to maximize defense. Foul play hits physical attackers hard, especially the ekiller. The rocky helmet is to punish physical attackers who try and contact attack me, can be used to try and bluff a life orb. Sucker punch is priority and roost heals me. Taunt forces out mons like Chansey who may try and burn me.

Hey Mega Swampert. Solid team here.

As for common threats, you beat Kyogre, Ekiller well enough, Xerneas, and sort of Ho-Oh, which are the big four imo. Plus Mewtwo.

However, what is your gameplan vs Blaziken, Yveltal, or Zekrom? Blaziken is kind of half checked by Ghostceus, but +2 Flare Blitz hurts. Ho-Oh dies with rocks, Palkia falls to low kick, Scizor to Flare Blitz, Kyogre to Low kick, and Deo-A to anything. Yveltal is unanswered on this team, you need a fairy type. This will help with Yveltal and help with your next pokemon, Zekrom. Yes, you really want to run a counter for this mon, and have the coveted fairy / ground teambuild. On a side note, you need hazards (at least rocks imo) so it shouldn't be too hard to fit a hazard user here with the Zekrom counter.

252+ Atk Teravolt Zekrom Bolt Strike vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Arceus-Ghost: 222-262 (50 - 59%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Ghostceus can't switch in.

LO Deo-A is a nuke, don't get me wrong, but if you're using it to suicide, you're doing it wrong. Run sash, or look at Fireburn's team that expertly uses double switching+voltturn to bring in Deo-A for free.

The Kyogre set is really weird. Idk about resttalk+CM, run scarf imo to check Ho-Oh better. You beat Xerneas sufficiently with Ho-Oh + Scizor.

On Scizor, Superpower/Counter > Pursuit, since everything on this team beats Gengar 1v1 pretty well.

Ho-Oh. Regenerator > Pressure, Roost > Flame Charge.

I'd say personally,
Fairy > Deo-A
Lando-T > Kyogre

Not sure if that screws up synergy, but it will help.

Good luck!

One of the reasons I use that kyogre set is to check Blaziken. Low Kick does a maximum of 46% and Kyogre Scal 1hkoes.

+2 252+ Atk Blaziken Low Kick (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Kyogre: 313-370 (77.4 - 91.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Blaziken has never managed to get to +2 on me anyway. It can only set up on scizor. Which is when I can switch to Palkia, Ho-oh (No rocks)

Even if Ho-oh is hit by Rocks and Kyogre and Ghostceus have fainted, I still have an okay chance of taking on Blaziken.

+2 252+ Atk Blaziken Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Ho-Oh: 185-218 (44.4 - 52.4%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

The only way Blaziken comes out on top of Ghostceus is with the Sun.

+2 252+ Atk Blaziken Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 144 Def Arceus-Ghost in Sun: 462-544 (104 - 122.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

If Blaziken isn't in the Sun, then Ghostceus can check it.

+2 252+ Atk Blaziken Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 144 Def Arceus-Ghost: 307-363 (69.1 - 81.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

If there is sun I can Sacrifice Kyogre or counter with kyogre.

Yveltal is a tough one. I can either get ghostceus to defog, then let Ho-oh destroy it, or go to kyogre to check it. Kyogre might even be able to set up on it.

252 SpA Life Orb Dark Aura Yveltal Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Kyogre: 172-203 (42.5 - 50.2%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

4 Atk Life Orb Dark Aura Yveltal Sucker Punch vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Ho-Oh: 208-246 (50.1 - 59.2%) -- 76.2% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery.

I will switch Arceus Ghost into Arceus Fairy to better deal with Zekrom, Yveltal and Blaziken. I Really Like what Fireburn did in his team, so I'm going to abuse Scizor's u-turn as much as possible. The Regenarator is something I forgot, Since most Ubers Only have one ability.

Thanks!

Um... use mega Blaziken in those calcs :P

+2 252+ Atk Mega Blaziken Flare Blitz vs. 252 HP / 144 Def Arceus-Ghost: 381-448 (85.8 - 100.9%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

+2 252+ Atk Mega Blaziken Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Ho-Oh: 228-269 (54.8 - 64.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

+2 252+ Atk Mega Blaziken Low Kick (120 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Kyogre: 388-457 (96 - 113.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

You cannot really assume that it won't come in on Scizor, since I would certainly come in on it, force it out, and SD.

As for Yveltal, okay. Fairyceus > Ghostceus is nice, but it does open holes. *cough* Ekiller *cough*

I continue to wish you good luck!

Kyogre can take on the Ekiller, due to the defense Ev's I put in it. And I did take your advice and stop using Deoxys for suicide, So It's my trump card against Ekiller if Arceus dies.

I'm gonna try giving scizor aerial ace, so if Blaziken tries to force it out, it is koed by aerial ace

+2 252 Atk Life Orb Arceus Extreme Speed vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Kyogre: 247-292 (61.1 - 72.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Can't switch in, and if already in you can't do much except for fish for burns.
Deo-A is KOd by Extreme Speed instantly (it extremespeeds back, but...

4 Atk Life Orb Deoxys-A Extreme Speed vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Arceus: 108-127 (28.3 - 33.3%) -- 0% chance to 3HKO
Possibly a revenge later on, but not sufficient.

Don't run Aerial Ace, just run another solid check + Fairyceus.

This team is not a bad attempt at all, a problem with the build is that it is prone to trapping combinations of U-turn Yveltal and Gengar which removes your defoger. Gengar being so threatening mandates a Pursuit user when you are using mons like Fairyceus to hold together your core. Scizor is an excellent candidate for this, use a moveset of Bullet Punch/Pursuit/Roost/Toxic with a specially defensive spread (248 HP, 244 SDEF, 16 ATK adamant is optimal) and you are good to go at that front.

Gengar is a minimal issue when compared to the real problems this build faces, however. Zekrom as a singular threat should mandate a Ground-type on any team that stacked so many electric weaknesses. Simply put, scarf Zekrom will 2HKO your entire team by spamming Bolt Strike after SR. Fairyceus isn't an adequate answer as it will be forced to recover too much and can't safely switch in either. Volt Switch also builds momentum, and since Fairyceus is your only remote answer to Zekrom, a combination of Gengar and Zekrom will easily lead to a devastating loss. The other really big problem is the lack of Stealth Rocks, which is mandatory on every competitive Uber team. Adding a physically bulky Ground-type over Yveltal solves issues with both Zekrom and the lack of SR, so it's a pretty easy fix. Ho-oh is also a rather big problem for the team in its current form, Scizor and Fairyceus gives it practically free kills every time you come in and you can't limit its staying power or ease to get into play without making changes. However, a Landorous-T can help with this as well as the two aforementioned weaknesses.

Minor weaknesses/optimizations include changing your Ho-oh/Palkia sets to something much more optimal. Going with Scarf Kyogre should be intuitive if you replace Yveltal with a Ground-type since you lose revenge killing potential without Sucker Punch. Good luck!

Ugh. Yeah, Do what hack said. Since you are now running fairyceus you do need that pursuit that you didn't really need when it was ghostceus.

That kyogre set is my answer to cm Arceus though. Except for grass, which is taken care of by ho-oh and I have no way to take on electric cm arceus. I will change yveltal to Landorus-t. This is a question, should I change Palkia to Dialga so it can still deal with kyogre but can deal with a wider variety of Pokemon? Specifically Calm mind Electric arceus which rolls through my team.

Hence why I said optimize Scizor to Sdef+Toxic and optimize Ho-oh. Those things should take care of CM Arceus.

The big problem with something like that, and one of the reasons I hate phazing, is that if it's their last pokemon, then I'm screwed. I'll change the ho-oh set.
