In a metagame filled to the brim with offensive teams, whether it's sun, or rain, or even weatherless, here's another one. Now I know what you're thinking; this is going to be another standard Deo-D offensive team with a random Heracross, and while it may seem true at first, it really isn't. My goal with this team was really to take advantage of common Deo-D offense teams, because of how similar they look at first glance. After giving the team a few test matches on random alts on multiple ladders, I finally got around actually taking the ladder seriously on one of my alts. Since then, I've peaked 1795 with this team on Pokemon Showdown under the alt All I Want, and, while testing this team, I gave an earlier version of the team to BKC, who inspired me to use Heracross in the final version of the team, as of yet. BKC has also peaked 1583 with this team on the Pokemon Online ladder under the alt Blooddrunk, and while both of our peaks are far from number 1, we were already very satisfied with the team's success. Aside from laddering, I've borrowed this team to many of my personal friends, who have also said they've done very well with the team. With that being said, lets get into the team itself.

~SOMALIA the Deoxys-D~
Deoxys-D @ Rocky Helmet l 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Speed l Timid Nature
Trait: Pressure l Moves: Stealth Rock / Spikes / Taunt / Night Shade
Pretty much a staple on every Deo-D offense team, hence why it's called Deo-D offense. Deo-D itself is an amazing lead, and it's not half bad mid-game either, whether it's used as a taunter or as death fodder, which is mostly the case. EVs are pretty self-explanatory; 252 HP and 252 Speed allows me to pull off some fast taunts on anything with a speed stat lower than 306 while retaining a good amount of bulk. It also helps me tie against other fast Deo-D if I need to, just to either get up some more hazards, taunt it before it taunts me, or just Night Shade to get some damage in. The 4 Defense EVs forces Genesect to gain a Special Attack boost, which is more favorable considering the only thing Genesect really has that can OHKO Deo-D is Bug Buzz, and U-turning really hurts Genesect more than it does me, due to Rocky Helmet and entry hazards.
The move set is pretty standard; Stealth Rock and Spikes are crucial for the team's optimal performance, and Deo-D sets them up in great fashion. Taunt, like I said earlier, can come in handy when facing something like Ferrothorn, who's only hope of dealing decent damage to Deo-D is Gyro Ball, meaning free hazards for me. Night Shade is really just because I want my Deo-D to have some sort of direct offense just so I don't miss out on some crucial KO's with other members if I don't get all my hazards up, which is very likely. It also stops Magic Bouncers from switching into Deo-D.

~Bowl Cut the Rotom-W~
Rotom-W @ Chesto Berry l 236 HP / 56 SAtk / 216 Speed l Modest Nature
Trait: Levitate l Moves: Volt Switch / Hydro Pump / Will-o-Wisp / Rest
Now here's where I start changing the sets a little. Whereas standard Deo-D offense usually has a Scarfed variant of Rotom-W, I prefer the ChestoRest set. Although it's not as offensive, it suits my playstyle more than the Scarfed variant does. This Rotom-W provides the right amount of bulk I need for taking repeated hits from common threats in the metagame, like Mamoswine and Landorus. Having the infamous ChestoRest combination also makes Rotom-W a superb status absorber. The EVs this time around are not that self-explanatory; this spread aims to outspeed standard Gyarados and standard Dragonite, crippling or killing them before they're able to set up. 236 HP and 54 SAtk with a Modest nature are enough to cause some serious damage to the opponents team while having a good amount of bulk.
The move set is pretty uncommon and quite underrated. I find Choiced Rotom-W a little too easy to play around, especially with things like Gastrodon and Thundurus-T everywhere, and I find the Pain Split set a bit unreliable, which is no wonder why I like this set so much. STAB Hydro Pump alone is absurdly powerful, and it comes in handy when in a pinch. Volt Switch is the first part of the Volt-Turn combo going on with Rotom-W and Scizor in this team, and it's a pretty good move overall. Will-o-Wisp is really my preference in most scenarios when I've used this Rotom-W set, as it cripples incoming Ferrothorn, and is overall a good move for team support. Rest is obvious as it completes the ChestoRest combo.

~Jaxx the Scizor~
Scizor @ Iron Plate l 248 HP / 96 Atk / 164 SDef l Adamant Nature
Trait: Technician l Moves: Bullet Punch / U-turn / Roost / Swords Dance
Scizor is a Pokemon with a lot of potential in OU; it's no surprise it's been #1 in usage multiple times. Bullet Punch and Technician made what used to be a mediocre Pokemon into a powerhouse with enough bulk to survive attacks and retaliate with brute force. Swords Dance Scizor sweeps so many weakened teams at the moment, it's wrong to think otherwise. Other than cleaning, Scizor completes the early-game scouting Volt-Turn combo, alongside Rotom-W. The main reason I run U-turn over Bug Bite is really to bluff Choice early game, and comes back in the battle field late-game and pull off an unexpected sweep. The EVs ensure maximum bulk HP-wise while taking less damage from SR switch ins, and enough Attack to break SubCM Jirachi's Substitutes with U-turn (or +2 Bullet Punch) while not lacking in much Attack to score some nice KOs in a pinch, and the rest in Special Defense just to not be lacking in that department, as most of the Special Attacks aimed at Rotom-W will be taken by Scizor, like how most of the Physical/Fire type attacks aimed at Scizor will be taken by Rotom-W.
SD Iron Plate Scizor is definitely outclassed by other Scizor sets if you don't play your cards right; it lacks the fire power of the Choice Band set, and lacks the bulk of SD Leftovers Scizor, but if you do play well, this set does the job. U-turn and Bullet Punch are, as I explained earlier, to bluff choice. Bullet Punch still has enough fire power to OHKO Terrakion after some residual damage (1 layer of SR and Spikes, iirc), and U-turn is still strong enough to dent bulky Psychic types, so unless you have damage calcs memorized, you can't tell if it's banded or not. Swords Dance and Roost are a necessity to pull off a late-game sweep and to retain a good amount of bulk.

~AB2 the Gengar~
Gengar @ Leftovers l 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Speed l Timid Nature
Trait: Levitate l Moves: Subsitute / Will-o-Wisp / Shadow Ball / Focus Blast
Will-o-Wisp Gengar plays kinda like how TobesTran does in Sun; you bait the Scizor or Tyranitar switch in, burn them, and then switch out or outright KO them, respectively. It's easier to spread Will-o-Wisp with Gengar than it is with Rotom-W, mainly because of the amount of things that rely on physical attacks to actually hurt Gengar. Many teams that are made for the current metagame usually haven't a reliable switch into Gengar, so getting up a Substitute causes Gengar to wreck havoc until something courageous decides to break Gengar's mighty teddybear. The EVs are standard, but I moved the 4 EVs from HP to Special Defense just for Genesect to not get a Special Attack boost from Download if it switches into Gengar.
Gengar needs Substitute on every non-Choiced set it runs; it's pretty much a requirement nowadays because of the number of things that actually scare Gengar with Pursuit when compared to ADV, so it's no surprise why I'm running it on this set. Will-o-Wisp is, obviously, the crux of this set, as explained earlier. Shadow Ball and Focus Blast are for STAB and coverage, and both moves hit ridiculously hard (if Focus Blast actually hits).

~PenguinX the Dragonite~
Dragonite @ Life Orb l 252 Atk / 252 SAtk / 4 Speed l Quiet Nature
Trait: Multiscale l Moves: Draco Meteor / Fire Blast / Superpower / ExtremeSpeed
Arguably the reason why this team's been so successful. If you thought the other sets caught people off guard, this thing deserves an award for that. Dragonite is going to get at least one kill, and the reasoning to that is because of how rare the classic MixNite is these days. The EVs are self-explanatory, hitting hard both Physically and Specially is essential for MixNite.
Each move in Dragonite's arsenal gets rid of a hard counter for one of my team mates; as an example to this, let's use Skarmory. Once Sturdy is broken by SR, Fire Blast OHKOs, so Scizor can freely set up in most circumstances. Getting rid of Ferrothorn with either Super Effective or slamming Gastrodon with Draco Meteor move allows Rotom-W to go Pump happy. If I have nothing to lose, I can even Draco Meteor other Dragons who attempt to overpredict and DD. The list goes on and on. ExtremeSpeed is there only because I feel the need of another priority user in the team, just in case Scizor doesn't do the job. It also OHKOs Volcarona after some residual damage, something my team is very weak to.

~BKC the Heracross~
Heracross @ Choice Scarf l 24 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 228 Speed l Adamant Nature
Trait: Moxie l Moves: Close Combat / Megahorn / Stone Edge / Sleep Talk
The team's obligatory Scarfer. Dragonite is only arguably the reason because this team's so successful because Heracross is around. In OU at its current state, what exactly resists all three of Heracross's attacking moves and is able to KO Heracross back? Not much, if anything. While this team has gone through many changes, Heracross was a change only for the better. After a Moxie boost, Heracross reaches an insane Attack stat, even OHKOing a bulky Starmie at 60% HP with +1 Close Combat. If you have nothing to stop Scarf Heracross when it's on a rampage, your chances of winning are slim. The EVs make it so Heracross outspeeds Timid Scarf Politoed and anything slower than that, while still being able to take some hits better than usual, while packing a gargantuan punch.
Some would question the usage of Heracross as a Scarfer, as there are better Scarfers out there, but unlike another great OU Scarfer, Salamence, it lacks the SR weakness, being able to switch in a decent amount of times before it becomes death fodder, if ever. Unlike Jirachi, Heracross focuses on cleaning, and not checking (in other words, it's not weak). This team was made before Genesect was released, and even after its release, Heracross was able to hold its ground as this team's Scarfer, mostly because it isn't much of set up fodder like Genesect is when it's locked into something.
Heracross's move set is literally its two best STAB moves and Stone Edge for un-boosted Volcarona and the like. Sleep Talk gives the team a sleep absorber when I've either revealed ChestoRest on Rotom-W or don't want to reveal ChestoRest just yet.
