In the anime, this started against Olivia. Rockruff was being an absoulute jerk. He even knocked out Rockruff-which helped them survive Continetal Crush-. I think Kukui said he was ready to evolve. Some other junk happened that ended up with Tapu Lele using Draining Kiss and giving the energy to Rockruff. It then started barking at the sun during dusk(hence the name) and evolved. Olivia started crying and the episode ends.

Go's Darmantian (Darmanitan) @ Choice Scarf

Goh captured the Darmanitan in the desert ruins. It was used almost immediately against Golurk. Darmanitan wasn’t really important in that episode and it never will. It is overshadowed by the Galarian form. This Darmanitan is in UU. R.I.P. It was used in some other regions like Unova a couple times but it isn’t really a good pokemon. It was kind of the only one I could think of.

This guy has such a bad temper. Mate, you lost once, and you rage quit. This boi didn’t listen to Iris until she “expressed her true feelings”. Man. This guy became really useful after that. It is also useful in Pokemon Showdown. In this team, it also kind of serves as a trap remover. I can’t think of any pokemon in the anime with Defog.

Kiawe's Turtle (Turtonator) @ White Herb
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk

- Scorching Sands
This turtle pokemon with spikes on its back was Kiawe’s main pokemon. The spikes were always used as comic relief with Ash being a freaking moron and frogetting. BOOM BOOM BOOM! It was a great pokemon. I am using this for its freaking shell smash. I am probably going to spam it for speed and not get attacked. And spam other stuff.

Dawn's Togekiss (Togekiss) @ Heavy-Duty Boots

This Togekiss in the anime was kind of last minute, and I haven’t really finished watching the anime. At first, I was kind of debating between Talonflame and Togekiss, but Togekiss won in the end. I don’t really use Togekiss in the game. Dawn never used pokemon to battle though. I wonder why this is OU. I understand the Air Slash OP flinch chance, but other than that… I wonder why.

alan's tyranitar (Tyranitar) @ Leftovers

This was only used during the league and that’s all we saw it for. I can’t say much about this, but I have to say 3 lines or else the admins will lock it. I like using tyranitar though. It’s a great Psuedo legend. Dragapult’s Dragon Dance, Dragon Darts is better, but nobody owns a Dragapult. Dragonite is nice, but I hate it.

Hey, here to help with your team. I know this is a semi-joke team, but if anyone plans on using it these changes may be worth considering

Firstly, Turtonator sticks out like a sore thumb. While the rest of the team has viable options, this just isn't a good Pokemon, so my first change would be to cut Turtonator. There are far better sweepers and far better Fire-types in the tier, but I think this role can be better served other than just replacing it with the likes of Volcarona.

Secondly, the actual sets on some of these Pokemon can be better. If you're using Excadrill with Tyranitar, it's probably a better idea to change Mold Breaker to Sand Rush. Excadrill acts as a terrific revenge killer and possible sweeper with Sand Rush. Brick Break also serves no purpose really, so I'd change Brick Break to Swords Dance, to give Excadrill wall breaking capabilities. Speaking of Tyranitar, you're probably better off just using SpDef Tyranitar, since you already have plenty of hard hitters in the form of Excadrill, Lycanroc, and Darmanitan. Psychic and Shadow Ball on Togekiss serve little purpose, so I'd just run the standard Nasty Plot Togekiss set.

This team is incredibly weak to Water-type attacks, as you have 4 weaknesses and no resistances. You're also very weak to Ground types attacks from opposing Excadrill. To alleviate this weakness, you should consider adding Tangrowth to your team. Tangrowth resists both Ground and Water-type attacks, and fits nicely on sand teams, while also serving as a great check to Excadrill. If you're looking to go for a more offensive route, Rillaboom is also an option.

There are some other changes I'd recommend as well, but these should drastically improve the team. I've provided the sets below, best of luck :toast:
