Annihilape @ Light Ball
Level: 50
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Tera Type: Fire / Normal
Jolly Nature
- Rage Fist
- Final Gambit
- Fling
- Stealth Rock / Taunt

Annihilape shatters foes to their core in BSS! Its solid bulk, nuclear offensive move in Rage Fist, and access to various support moves make it an extremely effective lead in BSS, forcing foes to play very carefully around it. Annihilape's beefy HP stat makes Final Gambit a viable option for trading with bulky foes such as Dragonite and Hippowdon. Fling + Light Ball allows Annihilape to paralyze any non-Electric-type foe, notably Gholdengo and Ground-types, and Annihilape can break Focus Sash on Pokemon such as Breloom, without fearing Spore thanks to Vital Spirit. Annihilape is a very solid user of Stealth Rock thanks to its offensive presence, a trait many other users lack. Alternatively, Taunt can slow down utility Pokemon that Annihilape would be unable to OHKO via Final Gambit, such as Skeledirge and Clodsire. Tera Fire not only allows Annihilape to be immune to burn but also provides a valuable Fairy resistance, allowing it to stand up to foes such as Mimikyu. Tera Normal is also an option, as it prevents common Ghost-types, such as Gholdengo, from getting a revenge KO. Annihilape's ability to keep entry hazards off its side of the field pairs nicely with teammates dislike Stealth Rock, such as Dragonite and Volcarona.

Alright I'll give this a check now! Specific stuff I inserted into you're write up with red text.

Just a general thing to start off with first: might be hard to fit in the character limit, but a big danger for playing against this set is that the Bulk up set can also work as a lead, leading to players potentially making bad calls like leaving a Dragon Tail Archaludon in, only for Final Gambit to nuke them!

Anyways here's the rest of the check!

Annihilape's beefy HP stat makes Final Gambit a viable option for trading with bulky foes such as Garchomp and Hippowdon. I'd change the Garchomp example, while Garchomp will be knocked out by a full HP Final Gambit, Garchomp being faster can be a real issue with that if they say, attack instead of attempting to set up SD or Stealth Rock as you Fling. I'd change it to Dragonite instead, since OHKOing through Multiscale is HUGE! Fling, in tandem with Light Ball, allows Annihilape to paralyze foes regardless of immunity, notably Gholdengo and Ground-types, as well as breaking Focus Sash on Pokemon such as Breloom, while not being fearful of Spore thanks to Vital Spirit. Annihilape is a very solid user of Stealth Rock, thanks to its offensive presence, a trait many other users lack. Alternatively, Taunt can be used to slow down utility Pokemon that Annihilape would be unable to OHKO via Final Gambit, such as Archaludon and Clodsire. Archaludon actually has less HP than Annihilape. You won't OHKO Sturdy Archaludon obviously, but I'm not sure there's enough time to get into that sort of detail. I'd consider replacing the Archaludon mention with Skeledirge instead (whose immune because its a ghost), since Shadow Ball is certainly not going to OHKO, and Will-O-Wisp sucks to get hit by! Tera Fire not only allows Annihilape to be immune to burn, but also provides a valuable Fairy- resistance, allowing Annihilape to stand up to foes such as Mimikyu. You forgot to mention what Tera Normal does. It's mainly to stop common Ghost-types like Mimikyu and Choice Scarf Gholdengo from getting an easy revenge kill on Annihilape. Annihilape's ability to keep entry hazards off its side of the field pairs nicely with teammates that utilize Focus Sash, such as Breloom or Cloyster. Not really sure Cloyster is relavant enough to mention here, I think Dragonite and Volcarona are much bigger deals to mention.

implemented, 1298 now

"but a big danger for playing against this set is that the Bulk up set can also work as a lead, leading to players potentially making bad calls like leaving a Dragon Tail Archaludon in, only for Final Gambit to nuke them!" hopefully the end of the second sentence does a decent job touching on this

Only thing I'd change is maybe change the Focus Sash comment to "Pokemon that dislike Stealth Rock such as Dragonite and Volcarona". Don't get me wrong Breloom is relevant, its just I think those are two bigger targets to mention.

Otherwise this looks good to me, put in that detail and this is QC Approved!
