Hi all, I wanted to test out another gardevoir team but I needed some help. Here is the team so far:
Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 16 HP / 8 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Taunt
My team's wallbreaker and mega pokemon. Timid is for winning potential speed ties and outspeeding as much as I can. Hyper Voice allows me to break through subs and make use of its ability. Psyshock so I can hit things like chansey for some kind of damage and Focus Blast for steels if other members were not able to remove them off the field. Taunt allows me to put pokemon on shut down. Gardevoir also starts off the Fairy/Steel/Dragon offensive core on my team.
Latias @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Defog
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Healing Wish
Latias is here to provide healing wish and defog for the team. I choose Thunderbolt in order to revenge any belly drum azumarill's which threaten this team. Draco Meteor can do massive damage to things switching in. Defog is to remove hazards and is pretty much mandatory on teams. Latias gives me the dragon part of the Fairy/Steel/Dragon offensive core.
Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Flash Fire
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Stealth Rock
Heatran is my stealth rocker and allows me to kill steels. I choose fire blast because of how much better it is compared to magma storm... Earth Power lets me hits electric types like raikou for example. Flash Cannon is to kill fairy types. Stealth rocks is to have some sort of hazard on my side of the field. Heatran completes the steel part of my Fairy/Steel/Dragon offensive core.
Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Knock Off
This team was lacking speed so I choose choice scarf landorus to fix that. With this set I can run knock off which is pretty powerful. EdgeQuake provides me with insanely good coverage. U-turn is so I can pivot around and into Rotom-W. Landorus also acts like a nice switch in into fighting moves and ground moves if necessary for heatran. Though they both share a water type weakness and weaknesses to rain sweepers. (More on that later)
Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 152 Def / 108 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
Rotom-W acts as a volt-switch and lets me burns threats like azumarill, mega swampert, weavile and others. Hydro Pump is its main stab move and lets me hit things for good damage like opposing heatran. Volt Switch lets me pivot around and bring in Gardevoir safely. Will-O-Whisp lets me burn things as previously stated. Rest lets me recover from toxic and gives rotom-w a second chance at life. I choose a different spread because I wanted to be able to soak of some more special hits.
Well thats the team so far. I don't know what to put as my last slot. I tried things like Chesnaught and Ferrothorn but they didn't work out that well... When I used Chesnaught it made my weakness to rain sweepers worse (i.e. : kingdra). When I used Ferrothorn I became horribly weak to bisharp because of defog and intimidate support on this team. I'm not sure what to do now. All I know is that I need a pokemon that gives me a shot against rain sweepers (kingdra, swampert, manapy) and bisharp. I'm willing to change the team up completely if it helps but I feel like what I have is somewhat solid so far...
