Another OU RMT

After trying and testing a lot on PO, I have finally managed to work out a team. Now my team is able to counter many of the new threats but is still lagging against some crucial ones, especially the sun teams a bit.. So I will appreciate all sorts of advises here.
Also, Because of the Team Preview, I do not have any fixed Team Lead.

EDIT : After the suggested advises, I have made many changes in my team, just for instance introduced a better staller, and took out some boosting pokemons. I have then tried to test my changes on PO, and they are giving me more sound results. But I still lack somehow, and I want a full RMT now, so that I know how to perfect my team more.

Heres My Team :

073.gif

Tentacruel (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 252 HP / 236 Def / 20 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Protect
This one is far more better than the previous one, as it now take full advantage of rain (if I am opposing a rain team).
Great Spinner of my team, lays toxic spikes in many switch ins and burns the remaining pokemon with scald.

472.gif

Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Ice Fang
Same, I have not changed it. Takes terrakion, conkeldurr, heracross, scizor, breloom, and the pink sisters namely chansey and blissey (as it do not fear status) quite efficiently. The only Booster remaining in my team now.

212.gif

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Swarm
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit
Changed from swords dance set to choiced set. Take on lati@s quite efficiently now, and has a good synergy with heatran. Though I think, would it do me any good if I invest some in speed to outspeed heatran and with U turn, pop his balloon, and give control to my own heatran who can now OHKO him with earth power and might get a fire boost too, if mispredicted by opponent???

492.gif

Shaymin @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Rest
My brand new pokemon, who now works very well against rain teams, and help the team by absorbing unwanted status (with my own conkeldurr gone now for that purpose). Works well with cresselia, who paralyze the opponents, so that he can rest when he is at the edge, and switch back and in to wreak havoc once more. Shaymin saved me from a lot of hassle by countering vaporeon efficiently, and checking the pink sisters. I have invested heavily in speed so that he outspeeds nearly every pokemon, like gliscor, haxorus etc. and OHKO with HP Ice.

485.gif

Heatran (F) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Stealth Rock
Another new one, though not that new as I mentioned my change over volcarona in one of my posts later. Works well against sun teams, and perhaps the only one that has a chance against sun teams. If he gets knock out, I Loose pretty much easily. Has a great synergy with scizor, and both work hand in hand for each others counters.

488.gif

Cresselia (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Reflect
- Thunder Wave
Another brand new, and replaced celebi (celebi replacing magnezone prior to this). Works well with shaymin and especially gliscor as she paralyze the opponents and have gliscor set up well. Reflect and thunder wave are like two status together : burn and paralyze with former having only no residual damage. Blends perfectly well against Salamence, Haxorus and Dragonite. Sometimes it helps me against Gyardos also.. But best support for my team as of now..

Though these changes have surely eliminated some of my old threats, I have now acquired some new threats. With conkeldurr gone, gyarados tears through my team. Venu is still a great problem to me. I have lost some good revenge killers making chansey more profound if her teammates manages to knock my gliscor. I now request for a complete RMT of my team, if you can..

Its my first RMT, so please bear with me.. I appreciate all types of constructive comments.. A Complete In-Depth RMT Will also do..

To stop your Dragonite problem you can consider running toxic over Swords Dance. That way when he boosts he will never have multiscale up. Or you can just try to fir STealth Rocks somewhere on your team.

As for your sun team problem you could switch Volc out for a Heatran. It has Earth Power to take care of the opposing fire types, Flash fire to stop them from spamming flamethrower, and a scraf to outspeed most. Hope i helped!

Hey man, this is a pretty nice team you have here.

I think that using a defensive Gliscor over your current set would be a great means of stopping Dragonite, as Taunt can prevent it from healing while you wear it down with Ice Fang. Defensive Gliscor is great for beating threats that your current set may have a bit more trouble with, such as Choice Band Terrakion and Scizor, due to it having better defenses and taunt. Defensive Gliscor's one 'catch', per se is that it can't handle teams with multiple strong attackers, but if you play smart, then it should be able to wall out a significant portion of the opponent's team. Anyways, the set you'll want for defensive Gliscor is as follows:

(Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
477.png

Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 240 HP / 248 Def / 20 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Taunt
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Protect

The speed EVs are for Max Speed Scizor

Anyways, you mentioned that you wanted to counter Chlorophyll mons, but Volcarona really isn't the greatest means of doing that. In fact, I think you could be able to fit a Specially Defensive Heatran in over either Volcarona or Magnezone. It could go over Volc if you want to take a defensive stance but still have Magnezone to get rid of Skarmory so that Conkeldurr and Scizor have a better chance at the sweep, but if you want to maintain your best stallbreakeri n Volcarona, then that is also perfectly fine, as your team has many other ways of beating steel types, namely Gliscor, Tentacruel and Volcarona. Anyways, Specially Defensive Heatran is a great means of smashing sun teams, although you should probably use it cautiously when a Dugtrio is on the opponent's team. It's also an amazing means of beating the standard Dragonite with DD/Fire Punch/Dragon Claw/Roost, but watch out for Earthquake! Heatran is also great for beating Calm Mind Latias and Jirachi, threatening the former with Toxic and its great Special Defense and the latter with strong STAB Lava Plume Either way, this is the set for Specially Defensive Heatran:

Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
490.png

Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 236 SDef / 20 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Protect

That's all and good luck!

Hey, nice team, I've got a few suggestions:

Your Tentacruel set is good, although I think you should switch it back to Ice Beam. It'll let you hit Grass types like Celebi / Shaymin / Roserade hard when they switch in, so they can't set up on you for free. Sure, the rest of your team handles well, but Tentacruel is the Pokemon that they'll be switching in on most, and this'll give you a surefire way to hit them. It's also useful for Dragonite, who'll try to set up against you.

Volcarona is a great sweeper, and the only problem with it is its lack of Recovery. Although, you should try out this Rest Chesto set, which tries to remedy that:

Volcarona (M) @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SAtk / 96 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Quiver Dance
- Rest
- Bug Buzz
- Fire Blast

Volcarona is one bulky mofo, and this set is a little like RestChesto Kingdra if you've ever used it. Basically, you just set up on your opponents face for as long as you can, then at the last second, Rest up like a troll, then destroy your opponent. This is especially good, because if you happen to be statused, Volcarona dgaf! It'll help you even more against Sun teams, too, because Chesto Berry will let you bitch slap sun sweepers that carry Sleep Powder, like Venusaur.

SubCharge Magnezone is great, although Hidden Power Fire isn't necessary. It only really hits Ferrothorn, which is basically set up fodder. Instead, try Hidden Power Ice, which'll give you psuedo BoltBeam coverage, letting you hit you hit Ground / Water-types and Latios / Latias for neutral / super effective damage. Hitting Swampert / Quagsire / Gastrodon neutrally doesn't sound great, but it's better than hitting them with Hidden Power Fire. Losing the ability to take out Ferrothorn in one go might sound bad, but it's actually better to just sub up and get as many Special Attack boosts as you can instead!

Good luck with the team, I hope I helped!

Volcarona (M) @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 160 HP / 252 SAtk / 96 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Quiver Dance
- Rest
- Bug Buzz
- Fire Blast

I have also used this set and with rapid spin support it works very well. It gets beaten by heatran though as it 4x resists bug buzz and is immune to Fire blast.
I would run more speed evs though so it can be used in more situations. When i ran this set i had 252 Speed evs. Good luck.

Changes made already.
Thanks For the addition of that Heatran, Though I hope He had some boosting moves.
I am now able to run through sun teams quite alot, but now I have noticed, I am prone to the Lati@s more now, because earlier, after +2 QD, Volcarona could rip them apart with bug buzz easily, but now I have nothing in place of that.
I have replaced magnezone also, as it served less purpose after the entry of Heatran, (and also SR + Toxic Spikes work a great combo), instead I have replaced it by Celebi, to work as a Sponge stall and to be more effective against rain teams, which I think I am getting hang of now..
But still, if someone could suggest better replacement for celebi, I would like that a lot..

485.gif

Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Grass]

251.gif

Celebi @ Life Orb
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Psychic

To fix the Lati problem you can use HIdden Poweer Bug on Heatran. If you do that you might want to run the scarf variant though. Maybe you could use a Gastrodon? With Storm Drain it takes the Hydro Pump spamming out of the equation. Just my thoughts.

Hi after looking at your team, I noticed that all your pokemon except for Tentacruel were set-up sweepers. I think that you have too many set-up sweepers and I believe that you shiuld replace your Scizor for the CB Scizor set. I know that SD Scizor is a great poke but I think your team really needs the instant power that CB Scizor can provide. Celebi is a great poke, I would keep him and replace Psychic with Earth Power for opposing fire types, namely Heatran

Biggest problem I see with this team is that no pursuit + no weather = Latios wrecked. Maybe the Choice Band Scizor idea by Novaray isn't a bad idea. Your team has no recovery which could be a problem. Also your whole team resists the major steels of this game in every way. Dropping Magnezone wouldn't hurt your team and would free up a spot for what your team needs. I believe that is either a Pokemon that has a weather ability, a revenge killer, or a wish passer/support Pokemon. Every team doesn't need healing, but it needs something that can switch in often for taking a status or just to help cripple the opponents team with statuses.
Tentacruel needs more speed just a little so it can hit the average 246 speed that most slow sets with decent base speeds use.
Hex on Tentacruel is quite useless in my opinion. Protect will always be the best option for out predicting choice Pokemon. Rotom W in particular considering you have a ground type on the team. By dropping volcarona you could really use Tyranitar if you'd like to help against Sun and having weather control period. Scarf Landorus could be your revenge killer, who could help in pretty much any weather other than hail. Why would you need a revenge killer? Well this team is swept by DD Gyarados pretty easily and it would help you utilize u-turn on this team a bit more. It's nice standard team and should be more consistant with the changes.

Good Luck.

Changes

I have made some major changes in my team, so kindly see them in my main post above And make a complete RMT of my team.
I have some demanding threats now like gyarados, or +1 DD Haxorus, Venu, Espeon. I would like help in removing these threats. Lati@s , though not so much now, still pose a problem to me.

Also I have some few replacements which I can have my team, but cant decide which one is more crucial to me??
Gliscor : Landorus / Bronzong
Shaymin : Virizion

437.gif

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Atk / 80 Def / 92 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
Bronzong can wall gliscor and landorus quite well. Good against DD gyarados too. And grants heatran A extra move By removing SR.

640.gif

Virizion @ Life Orb
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
Better than shaymin as it can take heatran and many fire types more efficiently than shaymin, and the only pokemon that can counter gyarados in my team.

645.gif

Probably the swords dance set.

All help would be appreciated, and once again rate my complete team, so that I know if My changes are correct or not..
