This is the result of a couple of hours on smogon damage calculator, and I really need some outside opinion!
Gothitelle @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
Nature: Calm
EVs: 96 HP / 160 SAtk / 252 SDef
-Tickle
-Psyshock
-Trick Room
-Heal Pulse
This is a heavily specially defensive Gothitelle, which is probably going to be very useful in trapping frail pokemon or pokemon weak to spread moves such as mega charizard y or talonflame. It also provides a reliable switch in because it can take so many hits. There is a massive increase in specially offensive pokemon now, thanks to the anti-physical meta that sprung up over the last year with intimidate and will-o-wisp, so if I can predict well enough then Gothitelle can wall a tonne of Pokemon as well as providing great support with Trick Room and Tickle. TR is going to be my method for dealing with a lot of the fast Pokemon that are so commonly used such as Talonflame, Gengar, Kangaskhan, Scarfed dragons etc. It goes especially well with my Aegislash and even garchomp, who are built to take advantage of no speed EVs, and so are generally bulkier. However, my team is also able to thrive without TR.
With this EV spread, Gothitelle is able to survive a shadow ball from Special Leftovers Aegislash,Dark Pulse from life orb hydreigon, often survives 3 Hydro pumps from rotom-w and many more. Heal Pulse can be used when pairing with many other of my pokemon that have no way of healing themselves, such as Aegislash who survives Garchomps earthquake, but needs health to get back up to a useful level after it has retaliated. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or I should use protect instead.
Gardevoir @ Life Orb
Ability: Telepathy
Nature: Modest
EVs: 60 HP / 252 Def / 104 SAtk / 84 SDef
-Psychic
-Moonblast
-Shadow Ball
-Calm Mind
This Gardevoir was mainly focused on taking out Garchomp. It always survives max attack, jolly and life orb Garchomp earthquake or an earthquake and a rock slide, and destroys Garchomp with moonblast, allowing it to even consider using calm mind.
After Calm mind, Shadow Ball can 2HKO aegislash in shield form or OHKO in blade form. Gardevoir can always survive Brave Bird from an adamant, choice band Talonflame with max attack (except crits) and then do around 90% with psychic, so added to recoil should always kill it. It can also survive a lot of hits from many other of the main Pokemon, specially or physically attacking, and then due to life orb kill them in one or two moves. Calm mind is relatively easy to set up because of support from either pachurisu or Gothitelle, who distract damage or give some speed control.
Aegislash @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Stance Change
Nature: Quiet
EVs: 236 HP / 196 SAtk / 76 SDef
-Shadow Ball
-Flash Cannon
-King’s Shield
-Sacred Sword
With the large HP investment, Aegislash can survive an EQ from Garchomp with around 1/4 health left and then activate its weakness policy. With 196 SAtk, it can OHKO garchomp in return with +2 Satk, allowing an easy KO. If it is paired with Gothitelle, which brings it up to about 3/4 health. The special defence allows it to easily survive attacks from pokemon like Rotom-W, and it can survive a shadow ball from gengar, even if it isn't at full health and then easily OHKO back. Similarly, it can survive a sucker punch from Kangaskhan if it is above around 65% and then OHKO back with sacred sword. Also, it always survives Heat Wave from mega charizard Y in the sun and then has a 56.3% chance to OHKO back.
Gyarados @ Gyaradosite
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk / 108 Def / 148 Spd
-Dragon Dance
-Protect
-Earthquake
-Waterfall
The Gyarados paired with Pachurisu is a great strategy because Gyarados gets an intimidate off on opposing Pokemon, and a free Dragon dance thanks to follow me. With one dragon dance up, earthquake and waterfall do massive damage to every pokemon in the Meta. There are very few, such as ferrothorn that can take the damage and deal back better, but with support from Pachurisu with follow me and super fang, there aren't many things that are good counters. On a dragon dance, it can OHKO charizard y in the sun and survive a solar beam with its natural bulk. With the speed investment, Gyarados can outspeed jolly, max speed garchomp and deal more damage than it receives. It can also survive a lot of super effective moves, such as thunderbolt from rotom. With +1 speed, it can outspend a lot of threats like lucario, who it can also OHKO. The defence investment helps it survive a lot of hits from fire types that might threaten the other Pokemon on this team.
Pachurisu@ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Volt Absorb
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SDef
-Nuzzle
-Follow Me
-Super Fang
-Protect
The perfect support Pokemon to help Garchomp, Gyarados and Gardevoir to start sweeping. Nuzzle helps annoy and to build up the hax (especially with rock slide garchomp) and follow me and super fang are brilliant at securing KOs or allowing more important sweepers to survive. I haven't found another pokemon that can support as well, especially since Amoongus has so many counters now.
Garchomp @ Choice Band
Ability: Rough Skin
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 204 Atk / 60 Def / 244 SDef
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-Rock Slide
-Facade/Protect
I went for a choice band Garchomp because speed is no longer necessary thanks to follow me and trick room. The choice band and adamant nature allow it to do massive damage to a lot of its counters like Gardevoir, who it can always OHKO with earthquake. Also, thanks to support from either TR or Follow Me, it can OHKO other garchomp and dragons. Garchomp is effectively my machine gun that can consecutively pull off massive damage through rock slide, eq or dragon claw and is more difficult to counter than normal thanks to the support Pokemon. Facade is something that could pay off massively, or be a complete waste of space. My thought is that if Garchomp is burned, he is effectively useless, so if he at least has the option, it could deal out massive damage if i predict correctly, for example using facade on rotom-w who survives, and then getting WoW, which then allows me to spam burn facade.
Anyway, thanks for reading and I would really appreciate your opinions!
