SS OU Anti Meta

Hello guys. Today I want to show off a team I believe to be great because it has great success with me is my anti meta team. For those of y’all who DON’T know what anti meta means, anti meta is a term used for a team that counters the current meta. Here it is:

Corvi is to get rid of hazards and to switch in or out with U-Turn safely to other mons if needed while also being able to attack with brave bird, if you want.
Lando-T is to lock other opponent’s Lando-Ts. This may not seem important at first because of its move set but I ensure you, it is. It’s essentially to screw other Landos.
Lele is to sweep and the AV helps it take genuine hits if it doesn’t kill first turn, so this way it can survive the next turn. I know y’all think it’s unimportant but if not with AV and your opponent switches, you could be screwed because you can’t use the move to take out that Pokémon you woul otherwise with AV.
Kart is to take out mons that Lele can’t and be faster most of the time doing it. Sure it can’t take hits as much as Lele but the Band helps it move fast enough to where it can.
Ferro is to be on the defensive if I needed to be and can knock off troublesome items if needed too. Not much else to say besides you can switch it for Heatran or Pex if you want to or see it fit to.
Mew is to set hazards for your opponents and lock the opponent’s out of moves like rocks or toxic or tailwind. If you want to, you can switch this one out for any other setter you see fit.

Each and every mon was chosen because of things it could do to ruin a competitive teams day. I hope y’all like it and find great success with it. Bye!

Hi, welcome to Smogon! I am locking your RMT for the time being as the forum rules require that you provide at least three lines of descriptions for each Pokemon to explain their roles. Please read the rules carefully and look at Team Showcase to see the detail we require. PM me with updated descriptions, and I will be happy to unlock this.

Why did you choose this mon
What do the EV spreads do and why do you have it
What are all 4 moves for

Firstly, I'd like to state that if you already have a long term means of checking Landorus then there isn't a need for Imprison Landorus. I appreciate you having attempted to think forward and create this set, but this isn't a teamstyle that supports it. Secondly, the team structure is defensively very weak and absolutely folds to far too many common threats; you have few definitive answers to many and your current checks are indisposed for their variety. For these reasons (and other more obvious ones) I would personally deem this team unsalvageable. While I can't offer you short advice on the broad spectrum, there are resources dedicated to helping newer players learn how to team build. There are also a multitude of other resources outside of Smogon found online which can help you to build better, if you want to look further.

I would recommend you first take a look here, I think it is a good resource to get an idea of basic teambuilding (albeit, for an older yet applicable generation). The Overused Forum is a great place to look for information and fun threads, after you are done with the Frameworks in Teambuilding article. Have fun!
