INTRODUCTION:
I'll start the RMT with a proper introduction as to who I am. Hello everyone, my name is YaVR_1 on smogon however I'm known as Blue on PS! The main reason I built this team was to see how well could a breaker like :choice-specs: :Raging-bolt: perform in the current National Dex meta where offense and bo have been thriving whereas most balance teams have been struggling due to the sheer number of wall breakers as well as z moves plaguing the meta and I must admit, :Raging-bolt: performed admirably well on this specific balance team meant to have a positive mu into offense.
TEAM BUILDING PROCESS:

Now I began building the team around :choice-specs: :raging-bolt: as the teams main breaker. Thunderclap provided it with valuable priority, enabling it to rkill pokemon faster then it such as :diancie-mega: or :iron-valiant:. However, I noticed that it struggled vs :ferrothorn:, :ting-lu: :shedinja: & :blissey:, hence I decided to add :kingambit:. Not only did :kingambit: pursuit trap :blissey: & :shedinja:, making it easy for :raging-bolt: to break through stall, but vs bo, it was able to break past :ferrothorn: via knock off and cripple :ting-lu: by removing leftovers. Since the core lacked longevity, I decided to run :weezing-Galar: since it's one of the only pokemon capable of defogging on gholdengo, enabling this team to beat those hazard stack teams. Sd + sub :samurott-hisui: also has a good mu vs this team and :weezing-Galar: helps with that mu asw. :rocky-helmet: :corviknight: + :assault-vest: :alomomola: form the complete defensive core of the team, with :alomomola: alleviating the mu into sun & rain teams. :choice-scarf: :great-tusk: acts as the teams speed control, rkilling many offensive powerhouses such as :tapu-lele: & :diancie-mega:

As stated above, I built the team to see how well could :choice-specs: :raging-bolt: perform in the meta. :Raging-bolt: has access to priority in thunderclap, hence it was able to rkill many pokemon commonly seen on most offense team such as :iron-valiant:, :ogerpon-wellspring: (after chip) and :diancie-mega:. Moreover, it acted as a secondary check to :ogerpon-wellspring:, :Charizard-Mega-Y:& :Tornadus-therian: I decided to deviate from the more common :heavy-duty-boots: pivot sets or the calm mind :Dragonium-Z: sets, opting for :choice specs: because of the immediate damage output it offered as well as the ability to shred most if not all fat, balance or stall structures as well as beating the birds such as :zapdos: :moltres: & :Corviknight:, enabling :Kingambit: to clean. However, :raging-bolt: has its fair share of struggles in breaking through mons such as :ferrothorn:, :ting-lu: and :blissey:. Hence I added :kingambit: in order to break past :ferrothorn: and pursuit trap :blissey:

Standard glasses Sd :kingambit: set. This mon provided additional priority in order to rkill most offense staples such as :dragonite: & :volcarona: to make sure they wouldn't have a 6-0 mu incase any of the team's pivots/walls would be too low or dead. Additionally, I decided to run :kingambit: with pursuit in order to trap :slowking-galar:, a mon that has become incredibly popular across bo teams due to its ability to check :diancie-mega:, :tapu-lele:, etc and could hinder raging bolts ability to efficiently break. However iron head can also be used in order to beat :clefable: and hit :zamazenta: or :great-tusk: coming in on :kingambit: for neutral damage. It acts as the teams physical wallbreaker and primary wincon asw.

Perhaps the most important mon for the teams defensive core, :Alomomola: is the teams specially defensive wall/pivot, checking important breakers who would otherwise tear this balance team apart such as :diancie-mega:, :charizard-Mega-Y:, :tapu-lele:, :Gholdengo:, :tornadus-therian: and many more. Body slam can be used over prough in order to fish for para and punish any :ogerpon-wellspring: switching in. Alternatively, play rough can be used in order help beat subroost :kyurem: or beat :kommo-o:. Liquidation enables it to beat subswarm :volcarona: in a 1v1 asw.

- Close Combat
- Headlong Rush
- Stone Edge
- Ice Spinner
The team lacked a ground type as well as proper speed control. Hence I decided to use :great-tusk: as the primary form of speed control for this team. Access to colorful coverage in the form of stone edge enables :great-tusk: to OHKO :moltres: while 2HKOing :zapdos:, both of whom who, otherwise hard wall/check tusk. Close combat and headlong rush are the preferred stabs with close combat enabling tusk to beat ting lu who, otherwise can prove to be pretty difficult for :kingambit: & :raging bolt: to break through. Not much else to say about them. :choice-scarf: enables :great-tusk: to rkill :tapu-lele:, :diancie-mega:, :Kyurem: & :tapu-koko:
1) :kyurem::Subroost has an incredible mu vs the team however, aslong as you're able to break :kyurem: sub via :alomomola: flip turn, :great-tusk: should ohko it with cc once sub is gone.
2) :charizard-Mega-Y: + :great-tusk::There's enough counter play for yard with :raging-bolt: and. However, :great-tusk: is a nusiance under sun hence vs :great-tusk: always go hard :weezing-Galar: into :corviknight: to prevent corvi from being 2HKO'd by a close combat. This enables you to roost successfully on :great-tusk: and pp stall it. Draco meteor spam from :raging-bolt: will also pack sun up.
3) :ceruledge::Just don't lose every 50-50 vs it with :kingambit: or :raging-bolt:.
4) :medicham-mega::Mons whole thing is breaking balance teams. Rkill it with :kingambit: or :raging-bolt: or :great-tusk: asap.
5) :choice-specs: :tapu-lele: + :ogerpon-wellspring::Really formidable off core. Best bet is to make accurate doubles in order to rkill them via :raging-bolt:, :great-tusk: and :kingambit: or check them via :alomomola: or :weezing-Galar: respectively (mirror coat & wisp)

Overall, there aren't many pokemon this team struggles with nor any particular archetype where it may be at a disadvantage
CONCLUSION:
:choice-specs: :raging-bolt: is an incredibly deadly wall breaker and anti offense mon which...was probably obvious ever since it was released. Hope you all had fun reading the RMT.
pinkstork I made the RMT only cuz u asked me too. I have spent 2 hrs in hell figuring out the commands and if u do not heart this RMT...we will have big problems my friend.
