Any Missing Pokemon?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if a game from Pearl/Diamond could get ALL the pokemon from older generations through game trades from previous games? (Excluding those event ubers)

The reason I ask is how does one get like starter pokemon from 2nd gen?

When you finish Emerald, you are given one Johto starter.

Actually, you need to complete the Hoenn dex.

You have to beat all of Mt. Battle with the exact same team the entire run through 1 time to get 1 of the starters. Then, you can beat it 2 more times to get the others.
