Other Metagames Anything Goes Offense, Feat. 3 Arceus Peak 1645 #7

Hello forums,, and welcome to my 5th RMT! This is my first one outside OU, but I feel that Anything Goes is a much more entertaining tier that allows much more creativity, and it has thus fast become my favorite tier. I enjoy seeing what other people come up with almost as much as battling with them. It's like Ubers got a Mega Evolution with Mega Ray as it's stone (Uberite?) and created the awesomeness that is AG. Anyways, enough gushing, and onto the team. This is a balanced offense team, that I kinda just threw together one day, and went 33/0. I was surprised at how well it was working, and decided to work to make it the best it could be.

Drummerilla is me.

Teambuilding Process:
Almost no thought went into this team at first, but I wanted to spam Extreme Speed. I started with Deoxys-A.

His unparalleled offensive stats make him almost impossible to switch in to. He's my lead about 90% of the time, but in certain situations he's kept tucked away safely until I need a meatshield.

Next came Extremekiller Arceus, being the best Extreme Speed user, and arguably best priority in general.

Next came Arceus #2, this time in his intangible ghost forme. He served as an emergency check to opposing Extremekiller Arceus, with his own Extreme Speed always winning.

Next came another Extreme Speed user in Mega Rayquaza. He made the tier, and Rayquaza has always held a special place in my heart, so I just had to use him.

No Sleep Clause makes this guy even harder to handle, and his amazing speed tier lets him check non-Extremekiller Arceus.

This Arceus forme jumped around a lot early on, but was finally settled on Fairy to serve as my main check to Mega Sableye and Yveltal. His ability to beat both Magic Bouncers made him my Stealth Rocker as well.

In-Depth Analysis

Please note: Almost none of my sets are standard, and please don't suggest the standard spreads. They never work for me.

Deoxys-Attack @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 80 SpA / 176 Spe
Naive Nature
- Psycho Boost
- Low Kick
- Knock Off
- Extreme Speed

First up, the early game hole-puncher, Attack Forme Deoxys. Dual base 180 offenses and a blistering speed for a guy with no feet, Deoxys-A is the physical embodiment of hyper offense. Hardly a game goes by where he doesn't net at least one kill. He is never dead weight. The EV spread is simple: enough speed to beat Mewtwo-Y, max Attack for the majority of his moves (but mostly for Extreme Speed), and the rest in Special Attack to buff up Psycho Boost. More in Special Attack is unnecessary, as it can only be used once anyways, and still punched the hole when needed. Psycho Boost is the STAB nuke button, but should not be spammed. It has very specific targets, as his coverage moves destroy almost everything else. Low Kick hits the majority of the tier very hard, and is used over Superpower to not become set-up bait after use. Knock Off gets great coverage alongside Low Kick, nailing Psychics and Ghosts for good damage while removing their items. Extreme Speed is powerful priority, and allows him to beat Extremekiller 1v1. It also allows him to beat Xerneas that try to set-up. I cannot count the number of Xerneas this thing has killed. When against Xerneas, ALWAYS KNOCK OFF FIRST! This cannot be understated. It gets decent chip damage, and removes Power Herb, locking them into a 2-turn Geomancy. 2nd turn, Psycho Boost, 3rd turn, pick off with Extreme Speed. 4th turn, WIN. This thing is a suicide lead, and should usually be played as such. However, he cannot touch Sableye, Yveltal, or specially-defensive Skarmory, and when against such foes, keep him in reserve. As long as Sash is intact, he is almost guaranteed 1 or more kills.

Arceus @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Recover
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance

Extremekiller Arceus, with a twist. I went with a bulkier spread, as Extreme Speed bypasses all speed tiers anyways, and this allows him to set up more easily against a variety of foes. Extreme Speed serves as his main STAB move, hitting faster targets and being a general revenge killing tool. Earthquake gives coverage on Rock and Steel types, while also checking Primal Groudon. Swords Dance doubles his already good Attack, making him a decent late game sweeper with Extreme Speed. Recover helps ease set up, stall out defensive teams, and be able to beat other Extreme Killer in a pinch. Lum Berry lets him check Ho-Oh, an otherwise huge threat to my team, and also be a nuisance to Klefki.

Arceus @ Spooky Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Force
- Extreme Speed
- Swords Dance
- Recover

Donning his Spooky Plate, he becomes quite spooky indeed. STAB Shadow Force is insanely strong, and, when boosted by Swords Dance, turns him into an amazing wallbreaker. At +2, he destroys anything that doesn't resist it. Extreme Speed isn't the best coverage, but it is necessary to pick off opposing Extreme Speed users. It also does more damage to Yveltal than Brick Break, and avoids Sucker Punch. Recover appears again, allowing him to decimate bulky offense teams by easily setting up on a myriad of threats. Much the same as the last Arceus, just different type and more powerful STAB.

Rayquaza @ Life Orb
Ability: Air Lock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Ascent
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
- V-create

What kind of AG player would I be if I didn't use the mon that created the tier? That would just be insulting. This is probably the most standard set I use, except that there is no boosting move. I felt that the overabundance of Extremekillers and the defense drops kinda makes set-up too risky in most situations. I went for Life Orb All-Out Attacker set. It works as an amazing wallbreaker, shattering everything that crosses his path. Dragon Ascent is the primary STAB, 2HKOing at worst nearly anything that doesnt resist it. Earthquake hits most Steel types and Primal Groudon hard. Extreme Speed is here for the same reasons as on everyone else. The last slot has tested a few things. I used Dragon Dance, but it came into play twice out of almost 50 games. As I noticed its general lack of set-up oppurtunities, I decided another attacking move would be best. Waterfall was used for a while to OHKO all Primal Groudon 100% of the time, essentially making him dead weight on every team that used him. However, I had enough ways of handling P-Don, so in the end I opted for V-Create to handle Skarmory, who is annoying otherwise.

Arceus-Fairy @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 8 HP / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Judgment
- Stealth Rock
- Defog
- Recover

The third and Final Arceus, the one without Extreme Speed! Fairy Arceus serves as my main answer to Mega Sableye and Yveltal, 2 huge threats to my team. Defensive Yveltal rips apart my team with Foul Play and takes nothing in return. Max Special Attack may seem odd on a support set, but it is incredibly helpful. It can now 2HKO Xerneas on the switch, OHKO Latios and Latias most of the time after Stealth Rock, OHKO Mega Ray 100% of the time, and deal decent damage to Primal Groudon on the switch, which is useful because of his lack of recovery. Most importantly, it guarantees the KO on defensive Yveltal after Stealth Rock, which is the main reason she's here. It also gives her potential to clean late game, which has happened more than once. The second slot has switched around a lot but finally ended up on Stealth Rock because she beats both Magic Bouncers and needs a way to threaten Ho-Oh. Defog is necessary, as otherwise hazard stacking teams would destroy me, especially Toxic Spikes. It also helps in keeping Deoxys' Sash intact. Recover is so she can continuously check what she needs to. And yes, Fairy Arceus is female.

That's my team, thanks for reading! Replays will be added at a later time. Let me know what you think, and try it out for yourself!

JK guys, here's Darkrai :P

Darkrai @ Leftovers
Ability: Bad Dreams
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Sludge Bomb
- Dark Void
- Substitute

This Darkrai set has single-handedly won me games, and kinda screw me over one game because of a Dark Void miss, but I forgive him because he's a badass. He's kind of a stallbreaker, but really, he's just annoying. Dark Void puts enemies to sleep so I can watch them die slowly and painfully. While they're asleep, he can proceed to set up a Sub to prevent status and revenge-killing, while also allowing to more easily put more targets to sleep if they switch. Dark Pulse is primary STAB for just kinda beting up foes if they're still asleep after the sub. Sludge Bomb is for Fairies, hitting Xerneas and Clefable hard, while also doing good damage to Mega Diancie, an otherwise full counter. Leftovers is to set up more subs and help stall out defensive teams. The EV Spread is simple with max Speed to take advantage of that nice speed tier, and max Special Attack to hit as hard as possible.

And now I'm really done :)

Wow nice team there mate
I suggest a Brick Break>Recover on Ghost ceus other than thatyou are good to go:P

Oh hey I totally missed this rmt somehow
I think the most important improvement you can get is throwing more speed on your arceus sets so things like opposing Ekiller spam don't have such a superior matchup. However, since you "don't like standard sets" outside of the ones that you already run which are ok standard, I feel like stone edge fast ekiller over bulky recover would help deal with the yveltal annoyance here. Not much else to say since I can't really change the sets, but this is still solid
