Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences):I've never really gotten into a format like I have BW ou, I've been playing for a month or two now, have entered my first tournament and got to round 4. I've played a ton of ladder, and mostly floated around 1400-1500, with some peaks in 1600s and some valleys(mostly with samples as well as one or two of my own). I really love this tier and just desperately want to improve at it

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon: I've played gen 8 and 9 BSS in-game and dabbled in some VGC formats in the past. I've also played in a few draft leagues with other formats such as gen 8 Little Cup, gen 9 OU and gen 5 Doubles OU. Besides my own time playing the format, I have a fair amount of vicarious BSS experience from watching other players and I'm interested in practicing the format more with help from an experienced player.

I first played Pokemon Showdown when I was a pre-teen but I've been consistently playing or involved in Smogon since late 2023. I have enjoyed low tiers like PU in the past and from the brief look at PU I have had on ladder it seems like an enjoyable tier, so I'm interested in hopping into proper tutoring.

I've built a lot since then, being the only builders for a masters finalist, circuit semifinalist, gc finalist and multiple wc slots, in addition to being a major presence for barras sv7 and sv3 this year. I've won TLT as well. I feel like I have a decent grasp on the tier as a builder and can eke out wins by better prep, but when playing a series it falls apart, which is a massive weakness I want to fix.

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): Hihi started by playing a lot of VGC & got into Smogon by mid 2023 because of it. I dipped my toes into smogon doubles formats as a clicker since it was similar enough to vgc when I needed a break. Eventually I got into singles with SV OU & Ubers UU, I find that I play worse in longer games and figured the funnest way to fix it would be to play a new tier <3

Tell us a little about your experience in competitive Pokemon (min. 3 sentences): I am relatively well-versed in the concepts of ADV OU, I don't participate in tours however I would enjoy to start participating in them. I don't super enjoy laddering as I have got decent success in ladder, most of my success on ladder I can chalk up to me making random alt accounts and testing out my ideas in the sandbox that is the ladder. If I can remember my best success was getting to 1750 on an alt account then tilting due to me getting bored of high ladder. If I could give myself a ranking on how adequate I am at ADV, I would say I am at least at the intermediary level. Even if I haven't participated in many tours, I study those games as I see them as opportunities to advance my knowledge on the dynamics of ADV OU and how they can be twisted. I would appreciate if there was a tutor who could help me out on this journey to make me better at this hobby of mine.

I got into ADV OU via finding ZPanther by complete accident on YouTube, I thought his content was very interesting and that ADV OU was interesting. I wasn't actually that invested into ADV OU however it was his video on Offensive Swampert that got me interested(ZPanther if ur reading this I'm not subscribed on pzwrd since I don't watch you on my phone I watch you on my computer and I don't use a Google Account to watch on YT for my own reasons.)
