Arcanine the Firewall, Gen 6 OU team [Pre Pokebank]

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 248 Def / 16 Spd
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Taunt
- Roost
- U-turn
My current lead. Taunt to try and prevent Hazard setting leads, but Gliscor is slower than most (especially Smeargle/Galvantula). He works pretty well thanks to bulk and can force most other leads out. The only big problem I have is Spore Smeargle, so I'm considering Protect to allow for Toxic Orb activation. This is pre-Pokebank since I want to make it in-game as well as on Showdown so no SR for now. Gliscor can also switch into Ground/Electric attacks aimed at my Pokes weak to thoe two types.

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Atk / 16 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Roost
- Swords Dance
I know U Turn and Swords Dance seem counter intuitive but I'm hoping Scizor willl be slower than my opponent so he can hit hard on the switch and let my next Poke come in safely and keep momentum, as long as I know a fire attack is coming, then I'll switch. I'm making this team in-game so I'm counting it as Pre-Pokebank, hence no Bug Bite. Would X-Scissor be better to capitalize on SW boost and keep it up? I went with Scizor as my mega for the added bulk alongside Roost so I can SW up, Roost off some damage, and then Bullet Punch.

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- U-turn
- Spikes
- Ice Beam

Right now I'm using Greninja as a kind of annoyance/revenge killer. Not sure how I feel about Spikes as I don't use them all that much and prefer to go on the offensive with him, but they're the only hazard I have right now and if the opponent sounds out an electric pokemon and I predict he'll go for the obvious attack I can hopefully outspeed and switch to Ground while simultaneously setting a hazard, essentially a free hazard turn. But this is a very situational usage so I might switch Spikes for Dark Pule to get more coverage/hit Aegislash harder.

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spd
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- Rapid Spin
- Protect
Basic Rapid Spin Tentacruel. Has been working very well so far. Spin away hazard, Toxic other walls, Scald physical attackers, stall/scout with Protect. I also realize I have two water pokemon but I figure with Protean as long as I send Greninja in as a Revenge Killer/predict a good switch I can change his type.

Arcanine @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spd
Impish Nature
- Morning Sun
- Flare Blitz
- Extreme Speed
- Will-O-Wisp
So far I've been using this Bulky Arcanine because Arcanine is one of my favorite Pokemon and I really want him on my team. Flash Fire is on there because 9 times out of 10 the opponent will try to hit Scizor with a Fire type attack, allowing for a safe switch in. Extreme Speed is there for revenge killing weaked attackers, Flare Blitz for a strong STAB and Morning Sun for recovery, especially sine weather has been nerfed. I'm considering switching him over to an all out Choice Banded attacker but I'm afraid Flare Blitz would run his HP down too quickly.

Jolteon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Special Sweeper. Volt Switch for scouting, Thunderbolt for powerful STAB, Shadowball and HP Ice for coverage and because pre Pokebank there's no Signal Beam. HP Ice is also nice for hitting Dragons, especially the common Dragon/Flying or Dragon/Ground. If I switch anyone out it will probably be Jolteon. He's worked well but I've had one on my team before and would be open to switching him out. Volt Absorb also allows for a nice switch in if I predict an Electric type attack coming at Tentacruel.

Some of the problems I've had thus far are M-Kangha if he gets a PUP boost. He can outspeed Arcanine and kill him with EQ before I can WoW and EQ also makes it hard to hit him with Tenta's Toxic. I've been considering Toxic over U-Turn or Taunt on Gliscor for this. I also don't have any fighting type moves for T-Tar, though I've also considered Grass Knot for Greninja to deal with T-Tar and bulky waters. I don't really have a stall breaking pokemon unless I can get Scizor boosted enough, though Talonflame usually forces me out (but lets Arcanine get a boost off of TF's Flare Blitz). I've considered an SR user but because this is Pre Pokebank most of the SR users are also weak to ground and I'm just not a fan of them. I realize this isn't going to be a top tier team with Arcanine but I'd like to keep him on and maximize my team's potential. He's also nice for dealing with Scizor and crippling physical attackers but again I might want a more offensive set. Talonflame can give me some trouble. Arcanine can switch into Flare Blitz and using Morning Sun to recover from unboosted Brave Bird but with no Attack EVs his Extremespeed doesn't do a huge amount of damage.

Pseudo bump. Changed Arcanine's ability to Intimidate to give him more bulk. Flash Fire allows him to switch into fire attacks, but with his current set he really can't do much after he switches into the attack since he can't burn fire types. Also considering taking U-Turn off of Greninja for Grass Knot as that would allow him to hit T-Tar decently hard as well as bulky waters and his U-Turn doesn't do much anyways. I've also experimented with a Physical Greninja @ King's Rock with a Timid nature and Water Shuriken to try to outspeed Gale Wings Talonflame and flinch it before it can Beave Bird. I also run Fling and Acrobatics on this set so I can flinch and then hit hard with STAB Acrobatics but so far I prefer the special attacking set as it affords more power for hit and runs as Greninja is already a glass cannon, emphasis on the glass. Finally, I put Protect on Gliscor over U-Turn so I can Protect away Smeargle's Spore and then have Toxic Orb keep me from getting hit with Sleep and Taunt the Smeargle/whatever switches in to prevent set up.

Hey, cool team!
I would definitely change Greninja and Jolteon to Naive/ Timid respectively. Speed is one of their greatest strengths so its best to max it out.

I'm busy but I might rate more later.

Okay I might do that! I went Modest because I figured they have good but not great Special Attack so I might as well try to make them as powerful as possible. But outspeeding other Greninja/Jolteons would be very useful.

Thanks for the advice, and any more rating would be greatly appreciated.

So if over 1,300 people have viewed this and I haven't receieved much feedback is that good or bad?
Bad.
Saying things like "Arcanine is one of my favorite Pokemon and I really want him on my team." isn't going to get you very far.

"I went with Scizor as my mega for the added bulk alongside Roost so I can SW up, Roost off some damage, and then Bullet Punch."
Mega Mawile and Khangaskhan can both take a hit and get +2 easily. Both have better offensive type coverage. It's not clear how Scizor synergizes with the rest of your team, so I'd suggest switching him with something that hits harder.

If you give Gliscor 192 spd you can outspeed Smeargle if that's giving you problems. Also I recommend switching uturn for stone edge.
Get rid of spikes on your Greninja. I don't really see why you need a taunter AND a rapidspinner. I suggest switching out tentacruel for rotom, who is a better pokemon overall and like working with scizor if you keep him in. Additionally I don't like jolteon very much in this current meta, and I don't think he'll help your team very much - so I recommend you swapping him out for heatran, who enjoys the will-o-wisps and fire attacks that your mega will surely receive. Scratch that, I forgot you're not playing Pokebank. Uhh...maybe swap jolteon for talonflame (though you probably should keep your spinner if you use talonflame)..hmm

Well I want to be as competitive as possible with Arcanine on my team. If that keeps me from beating a few people then so be it.

Yeah I'd been noticing that Scizor really wasn't doing too much compared to my other Pokemon, I'll probably bench him and then maybe Band him when the Pokebank comes out. What would you suggest I switch him out for? I'd rather avoid Mega Mawile/Khanga for something else but I do have a 5 IV Khanga I can use.

I put Protect on Gliscor so I can avoid Spore on the first turn while still keeping my defenses at a maximum. I can't get Stone Edge because this is pre-Pokebank, though my current build lets any flying type wall me since EQ is my only attacking move. However, I like Taunt for Smeargle/Klefki/slower leads. I put Grass Knot and Dark Pulse on my Greninja, replacing U Turn and Spikes. I never used Spikes and U Turn does barely any damage, so I preferred more coverage. I considered Talonflame but in the event that I lose my Spinner I don't want Talonflame to be crippled by that 4x weakness.

So as of now I need to switch out Scizor, possibly Tentacruel, and probably Jolteon. If I gave Gliscor Toxic instead of Taunt and then used Mega Absol as a lead with Magic Bounce could that work? I haven't seen him much and always thought he was a cool Pokemon. Then a Special Defence wall to replace Tentacruel, possibly Rotom, and something to replace Jolteon.
