move 3: Dark Pulse/Shadow Ball
move 4: Recover
ability: Multitype
item: Pixie Plate
evs: 252 HP/200 DEF/40 SPA/16 SPE
nature: Bold

Moves
========

-Judgment is effectively a base 180 power Special move with the fairy typing allowing it to hit it extremely hard.
-Calm Mind allows this set to boosts its already powerful stats to much higher levels whilst also giving Arceus the ability to take an assortment of different attacks.
-Dark Pulse and Shadow Pulse are both there to provide Excellent neutral coverage and really depends on the individual person running the set.
-Recover allows Arceus to stay and set-up even longer for maximum efficiency.

Set Details
========

-Maximum Hp allows Arceus to get the most bang-for-its-buck on its stellar defenses
-200 EV's into Defense allow Arceus to live a physical hit as well as survive special attacks off its Calm Mind boosts
-40 Special Attack EV's give Arceus somewhere to start with with its offensive presence. These can be put into Defence as well for extra bulk.
-16 Speed EV's allow Arceus to outspeed various threats like positive nature maximum speed Heatran and full EV neutral nature base 90's

Usage Tips
========

-Offensive steel types aren't going to let you set up without you taking some powerful damage so try to avoid them
-Look for a choiced dragon type locked in to a dragon move as that will net you a free boost or recover

Team Options
========

-Anything that can take out powerful steel types like Aegislash, Heatran, Lucario and Dialga. (EG. Ho-OH, Lucario, Groudon)
-Pokemon that can effectively remove bulky pokemon like Ho-Oh and Lugia

Work Up
########
name: Work Up
move 1: Judgment
move 2: Work Up
move 3: Extreme Speed
move 4: Surf/Earth Power/Flamethrower/psyshock
ability: multitype
item:pixie plate
evs: 4 HP/252 SPA/252 SPE
nature: Hasty/Naive

Moves
========

-Work Up allows Arceus to boost its already stellar attacking prowess.
-Judgment is a powerful STAB move with the fairy type that hits many of the threats in the tier hard.
-Extreme Speed is there to take advantage of the attack boost and pick off low health threats.
-The last slot is for coverage. Psyshock allows Arceus to deal with Chansey and Blissey more easily along with hitting specially defensive pokemon harder. Surf allows Arceus to deal with powerful fire types and other pokemon that might resist your STAB attack as well as benefitting from the usage of kyogre in the tier. Earth Power and Flamethrower both hit steel types that could otherwise give you trouble.

Set Details
========

The EV's allow you to take advantage of arceus' spectacular offensive stats witha powerful mixed attacker. The nature gives arceus the maximum possible speed in order to outspeed as many pokemon as possible whilest still not interfering

Usage Tips
========

-For the most part, one boost is all you ever truly need so don't get greedy

Team Options
========

-Darkrai is very good at keeping pokemon like Ho-Oh and Lugia out of commission allowing you to get the boost or two you need to power through them.
-Kyogre could be very beneficial if you choose to run surf as it helps keep rain up and sun down, both of which hurt your chances against Ho-OH

Special Wall
########
name: Special Wall
move 1: Will-o-wisp/Reflect
move 2: Recover
move 3: Judgment
move 4: Roar/Defog/Toxic
ability: multitype
item: Pixie Plate
EVs: 252HP/240 SDEF/16 SPE
Nature: Calm

Moves
========
-Will-o-wisp or reflect are there to even out Arceus' defenses. Will-o-wisp is generally the superior option but it only affects one target and can't hit various fire types while reflect protects your team for only a set number of turns
-Recover is pretty self-explanatory, allowing arceus to recover HP and extend its walling
-Judgment allows you to finish off a weakened opponent
-the last spot is for utility. Roar allows Arceus to phase out boosted opponents. Defog gives Arceus the ability to clear entry hazads. Toxic allows it to do something to other walls.

Set Details
========
This Arceus is made for maximum bulk. With max HP and 240 SDEF and Calm nature (+SDEF/-ATK). There is also 16 Speed EVs to out run max speed heatran and neutral nature base 90s

Usage Tips
========
-Any Physically Offensive steel or poison type attack will deal significant damage to you don't have the pokemon burned or a reflect up so your first priority with these pokemon is getting one of those up

Team Options
========
-Any physically defensive pokemon with a resistance to Steel is a good option (Ferrothorn, Forrtress, Skarmory)
-Defog allows you to keep stealth rocks off the field and works well with pokemon that loathe taking damage from these are great with a defog using arceus (Ninjask, Charizard-Y, Ho-OH)

Checks & Counters
########

-Ho-OH has a combination of a huge special bulk and physical offense as well as immunity to Will-o-wisp so all three sets have a very hard time dealing with it. Only the Work-up set could theoretically stay in as Ho-Oh has a chance to be 2HKOd with a +1 Surf or Psyshock. The Calm mind could potentially take it on, but only if has several boosts under its belt.
-Lucario is a huge threat as an adaptibility iron head or bullet punch is not something you want to be trying to tank
-Ferrothorn is pretty much a hard stop to the offensive sets not running Flamethrower with it's great special bulk and resistance to many attack options
-Lugia, Groudon and Kyogre could all prove good stops with their good bulk as well as Lugia's multiscale stopping you from doing much damage and Groudons drought weakening Arceus' surf attack.

Other Options
########
Arceus certainly has a wide variety of sets it can run and many of the sets used by other formes are potentially viable, including the Swods Dance + Extreme Speed set common on normal Arceus however those sets are generally more effective elsewhere and likely can't take advantage of the unique fairy typing.

Overview (Sorry, had a MUCH longer post but it got deleted)

Everything you mentioned in this section can apply to either all fairy-types or all Arceus formes. What makes Arceus-Fairy unique? Mention that unlike Xerneas, it can outrun Palkia and unlike other Arceus formes, it is immune to one of Palkia's STAB moves, making it a great Palkia check. Also, instead of briefly mentioning it has two uncommon weaknesses, stress how these uncommon weak points make Arceus-Fairy difficult to take down without extremely powerful attacks.

Also mention some drawbacks. Mega Gengar stomps on you if you lack Earthquake and Steel types that don't mind Will-O-Wisp too much, like Defensive Dialga, can switch in easily. Ho-Oh also destroys Fairy Arceus if you lack Stone Edge, and all status cripples this Arceus forme.

Sets

Fairy Arceus can run a couple of effective sets in Ubers. Neither of them utilize Work Up or Psyshock.

Support
########
name: Support
move 1: Judgment
move 2: Recover
move 3: Defog / Roar
move 4: Will-O-Wisp / Roar / Earthquake
ability: multitype
item: Pixie Plate
EVs: 252 HP / 48 SpD / 212 Spe
Nature: Calm

This set can check a variety of Pokemon with Roar and/or status, such as Xerneas, Palkia, and Zekrom. It also comfortably fits Defog if you need a Pokemon to clear hazards away.

Mention a ground-type in the teammates section to provide an immunity to Zekrom's other STAB, forcing it into 50/50's every time it enters the field of play. Also mention Ho-Oh as a good partner, as it destroys the Steel types that bother Fairy Arceus so much. In return, Fairy Arceus can remove Stealth Rock with Defog.

Calm Mind
########
name: Calm Mind
move 1: Calm Mind
move 2: Judgment
move 3: Recover
move 4: Will-O-Wisp / Thunder / Refresh
ability: Multitype
item: Pixie Plate
evs: 252 HP / 44 Def / 212 Spe
nature: Bold

This set allows Fairy Arceus to outrun Palkia and Mega Kangaskhan while retaining bulk, which helps it check those threats immensely. The first three moves are self-explanatory while the last move depends on team need. Will-O-Wisp helps check stuff like Zekrom and Swords Dance Arceus Ground, Refresh allows Fairy Arceus to menace some stall teams (especially those that lack Perish Song) and Thunder hits stuff like Ho-Oh, Specially Defensive Kyogre and Lugia kinda hard after a Calm Mind boost. I guess Toxic and Fire Blast can be mentioned in Set Details as well.

Checks & Counters

You missed Mega Gengar, which kind of destroys Fairy Arceus. Mega Scizor is also very threatening, especially Swords Dance and Toxic sets. There's a lot that you missed in this section, and a lot (such as Groudon and Kyogre) that doesn't really check Arceus-Fairy at all.

If you intend to write this analysis, PLEASE playtest both sets on the ladder and familiarize yourself with this Pokemon. The sets you posted indicate a lack of understanding of how Arceus-Fairy works and while I recognize you are eager, you are going to need actual familiarity with it to write a quality analysis. Good luck.

Edit @ below: That's almost the exact same set I posted lol. I agree outspeeding Garchomp is a good idea so that EV spread is fine with me.

Dammit, everyone takes the things I want to write :( Anyway, I do have an different support set than Sweep's to utilize Arc-Fairy's ability to check Dragons, but don't use this if the QC team thinks this set warrants me to go to an insane asylum and rot.

EV's are to outspeed at max Jolly Chomp while moving the rest to Def to take hits better before and after a WoW has been fired. Take it however way you want it, it's just my magical 2 cents.

sorry but it seems you aren't familiar with the metagame and this will be too much of drag for qc as this is a quite important mon in the metagame.

I'll fix it up, most of the stuff that Sweep mentioned I haven't seen in my own experience with Ubers so most of it didn't really occur to me.
And Kyogre while not liking the damage it will take from arceus has really good bulk and can generally kill the more offensive lists.

Rename set 1 to Calm Mind

You need to redo all of moves and the set itself

-Maximum Hp allows Arceus to get the most bang-for-its-buck on its stellar defenses
-200 EV's into Defense allow Arceus to live a physical hit as well as survive special attacks off its Calm Mind boosts
-40 Special Attack EV's give Arceus somewhere to start with with its offensive presence. These can be put into Defence as well for extra bulk.
-16 Speed EV's allow Arceus to outspeed various threats like positive nature maximum speed Heatran and full EV neutral nature base 90's

- ok
- what specifically? If it's nothing then "to live a physical hit" don't mention it because it's pointless
- see the point above
- it needs to outspeed Palkia, at the very least, max speed Heatran is too rare to warrant a mention when you don't even beat it without the appropriate move

Delete Work Up, I don't know why you thought it worked, but it doesn't.

Change Special Wall to Specially Defensive

Remove Reflect, Defog should be a primary slash (imo not slashed at all) Again change EVs.

-Any Physically Offensive steel or poison type attack will deal significant damage to you don't have the pokemon burned or a reflect up so your first priority with these pokemon is getting one of those up

Like? Physical Poison is nonexistant, say something like "Thanks to its amazing defnsive typing, this Arceus can safely Defog without worrying about taking a super effective hit (well, mention specific threats more then type disadvantages when you use an example)"

Yes I know thats bad but I'm tired and stuff is obvious

Sorry, agreeing with Hack here. You don't seem to know the metagame at all, and for us to help you would pretty much equal us writing this thing for you... which means it's better assigned to someone else.

qc rejected 2/3

I mentioned the work up set because that is the one i have been using for several months now and its been working out quite well. Close the thread and pass it someone more suited if that's what you guys feel, I'm not going to have much time for a while to do major changes.

please in the future make sure you test and get known with the metagame. good luck.
