Arceus-Grass is a potent stallbreaker and sweeper in Ubers UU thanks to its excellent bulk and decent typing enabling it to repeatedly Calm Mind. Taunt blocks common anti-setup measures like Roar from Solgaleo and Giratina and Encore from Magearna and Ogerpon-H, allowing Arceus-Grass to stack massive amounts of boosts. Recover allows Arceus-Grass to check Pokemon like Palafin and Palkia-O throughout the course of the game, as well as giving it multiple attempts to sweep. Tera Poison grants Arceus-Grass a resistance to Poison-type attacks from Pokemon like Sneasler and Arceus-Poison, along with removing its other weaknesses like to Ice- and Fire-type moves from Kyurem-W and Chi-Yu. Alternatively, Tera Fairy can be opted for, as its ability to block Dragon Tail from the likes of Dialga and Giratina removes some of the only defensive counterplay to Arceus-Grass that's not covered by Taunt. Arceus-Grass is forced out by foes like Ogerpon-H, Tera Fire Zacian, and Dragon Dance Arceus-Poison, so Pokemon that can handle these threats like Toxapex, Giratina, and Landorus-T are excellent partners. Arceus-Grass can check Pokemon like Palkia-O, Palafin, and Landorus for its teammates, which Pokemon like Chi-Yu, Solgaleo, and Zamazenta-C appreciate. Arceus-Grass can struggle to break through Grass-resistant foes like Dialga and Galarian Slowking, so Pokemon like Chi-Yu and Landorus that can remove them pair excellently with it.
