Naive Nature
- Bolt Beak

- Low Kick / Freeze-Dry

OU is in the midst of a storm, all because of this cute ice dino. It has instantly become a massive threat to common team structures with its amazing STAB combination and Speed tier in Hail. Bolt Beak is its main STAB move, compensating for Arctozolt's mediocre Attack stat with its high Base Power making it a menace to switch into. Blizzard hits Bolt Beak switch-ins, and with 76 EVs it can 2HKO Hippowdon and Buzzwole while OHKOing Kartana and Dragapult. Substitute is a great tool to make Arctozolt less prediction reliant, allowing it to capitalize on forced switches, while also letting it deal with Choice Scarf users like Timid Tapu Lele and Kartana. Low Kick is the preferred coverage move to hit Ferrothorn and Magnezone, which check Arctozolt. However, Freeze-Dry can hit Swampert and Gastrodon, which can otherwise switch into Arctozolt with ease. Alolan Ninetales provides necessary hail as well as Aurora Veil, which it can easily use when Steel-types like Scizor and Heatran switch in against it. Arctozolt also greatly appreciates slow pivots like Landorus-T and Corviknight, which offer it even more switch-ins against Buzzwole and opposing Corviknight. Urshifu-R is also a stellar partner, pivoting Arctozolt into bulky Water-types and chipped Buzzwole to freely wallbreak.

Arctozolt has recently started a Hailstorm in the OU metagame, instantly becoming a massive threat to common team structures with its great STAB coverage and speed tier in Hail. Ig it's more of personal preference since it's flavor and all but I think it'd be kinda cooler if you worded it like "OU is in the midst of a storm" or smth like that idk. ur call idrc, i'd probably emphasize bolt beak's stupid power here offsetting zolt's meh attack Blizzard is its Ice-type STAB of choice which due to the EVs allows it to 2HKO Hippowdon, and Buzzwole, while OHKOing the likes of Kartana and Dragapult. Substitute is a great tool to make Arctozolt be less prediction reliant, allowing it to abuse forced switches, while also giving it a way to deal with Choice Scarf users like Timid Tapu Lele and Kartana which can otherwise attempt to revenge kill it. Low Kick is the preferred coverage move since it can hit the likes of Ferrothorn and Magnezone which can otherwise check be roadblocks to Arctozolt. (Add period) However, Freeze Dry can hit the bulky Ground- and Water-types like Swampert and Gastrodon which can otherwise switch into Arctozolt with ease.
