Are YOU using CBvile?

I know I am.! EV set might be a little bland, since all it really needs is Attack and Speed. X-Scissor,Brick Break, Night Slash, and Ice Punch is what I'll use. It can outspeed a lot of Pokémon, and can OHKO a lot as well. For all you who don't know what I am talking about...

Weavile @Choice Band
Jolly
252 Attack/252 Speed/4 HP
-Pursuit
-Dark Slash
-Ice Punch
-Brick Break.

BTW, T-Tar is decimated by Brick Break.

Weavile @ CB
Brick Break
Ice Punch
Pursuit
Blade Test (dont know english name lol)

That is the set I use and the one currently used most on wifi.

Night Slash =)

But yeah, the set SePh posted is the standard one. Most people are going to use that set if they use Weavile at all.

EDIT: Beaten to the punch by Link

Very true, Sneasel was a good Pokemon, but lack of STAB and slightly above average attack, along with it being outclassed by others really stopped it from trully shining. Now Weavile has true individualism.

And by the looks of the most current RMTs, a different starter =P Seriously, I'm thinking it could beat the Dragons real badly. Maybe even OHKO... need to check that.

Of course it can OHKO. Even without CB, no Dragon is going to survive a STABed Ice Punch except for Kingdra.

It always OHKOs every Standard Dragon in the game, Linkrocks1972, even without a CB. Unless some crazy person uses absolute max HP/Def Garchomp lol. Latios and Latioas, Palkia and Dialga are exceptions, and Kingdra.

Weaville makes a Revenge Kill Happy Metagame.

If only it had an easy way of killing Gyara(Come on Move Tutors give us Thunderpunch). But a boy can only dream.

I guess, CBWeaville/CBCross I think are potent combination. Gliscor, Heracross's wall, is OHKO'd by CB Weaville Ice Punch in most instances(I think most Gliscor pack some Speed and Atk to ensure the OHKO with AA).But I think Skarm beats Weaville pretty easily, but it cannot switch into Close Combat Cross well anymore.

I've been thinking of a team with Pursuit CBWeaville and Dugtrio, focused on forcing switches for SR/Spikes Damage and Pursuit. Still thinking of stuff, but its a work in progress.

No, Skarm doesn't wall Weavile unless it's CBed, and even then Skarm can only take so many Ice Punches. A Focus Punch also does a load, and a SD Weavile 2HKOs Skarm. I've been thinking about that combo too, funny. I can't even post RMTs anymore, I've maxed out. lol

Expert Belt is like one of my favorite items to abuse. It does wonders on fast sweepers like Weavile.

Weavile @ Expert Belt
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/6 HP
Nature: Jolly (Spd+/SAtk-)
- Night Slash
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break
- Aerial Ace

Expert Belt is an awesome item for something with this kind of type coverage. 1.2x on any super effective move with no bad effect is nice for something with Weavile's abilities.

Hehe, speaking of revenge killing, Weavile 1hko's Dugtrio with 80 dmg pursuit; actually, Dugtrio needs to invest ~150 EVs in defense to survive that attack from a non CB weavile. Although I don't know if I'd risk the chance of Dugtrio staying in, I still found this interesting.

Does this thing learn Ice type QA? If it learns it, I'll be using this to let Salamence DD 6 times and lol in its face.
