PU Armaldo (Mini)

uploaded -mz

[OVERVIEW]

While a sky-high Attack stat and access to Rapid Spin give Armaldo the facade of being a viable offensive spinner, it's completely outclassed. Its horrendous typing gives it few useful resistances and weaknesses to common types like Water and Rock, which also makes it weak to Stealth Rock on top of being vulnerable to every other entry hazard. This, combined with its very low Speed stat, makes it hard for Armaldo to remove entry hazards as consistently as other spinners, as it'll often be taking a lot of damage in the process. It also can't remove entry hazards against common setters like Aggron and Regirock. All of these facts combined make it mostly outclassed by other offensive entry hazard removers such as Hitmonchan, Skuntank, and Alolan Sandslash.

[SET]
name: Offensive Spinner
move 1: Rapid Spin
move 2: Stone Edge
move 3: Knock Off
move 4: Earthquake
item: Leftovers
ability: Battle Armor
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 HP / 92 Atk / 164 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

With this set, Armaldo attempts to be an offensive spinner with its nice offensive presence and coverage moves. It even has the perk of being able to heavily damage Ghost-types such as offensive Jellicent and Froslass. Still, Armaldo finds itself outclassed by Hitmonchan and Alolan Sandslash, which have similar offensive presence, have far more defensive presence, and aren't nearly as weak to entry hazards.

With this set, Armaldo attempts to be an offensive spinner with its nice offensive presence and coverage moves. It even has the perk of being able to heavily damage Ghost-types such as Jellicent and Froslass, as well as the ability to threaten Mesprit with Knock Off.(thats p random, cuz even if ur referring to its sr set, that runs colbur) Still, Armaldo finds itself outclassed by Hitmonchan and Alolan Sandslash, which have similar offensive presence and far more defensive presence, making Armaldo an unviable choice as an entry hazard remover.(also arent weak to sr, and snowslash is additionally immue to tspikes)
