Arr Ye' Tea - Offense (OU)

Gengar (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Destiny Bond
- Hypnosis
- Shadow Ball
- Counter

Standard Lead, hypnosis seems to be working even with that 60% rate. I can usually pull this set off to render any lead/counter they send in useless. Destiny Bond if they are willing to sacrifice a slower pokemon(albeit unwittingly).

Dugtrio (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Sucker Punch
- Aerial Ace

This is too good when used in tandem with gengar. It has saved me from 3-4 sure sweeps now. For example, you may say a Salamence with a DD will rip through my team. Duggy can Stone Edge, then sucker punch. This usually kills frail sweepers. Also is a good revenge killer for those slow-hard-hitters. Ditto Ditto Ditto for Gyarados. I need to watch out for SR, though, but thats usually not a problem if Gengar does its job.

Salamence (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Hydro Pump

Tossed it in randomly and seems to work. Softens up my opponents team and sometimes finishes the game off. One thing I hate is the 4x Ice weak both this and Gliscor carry. Duggy is 2x weak to ice too. It however has an important role as my *only* special sweeper and is resistant enough not to get KO'd very easily, if I don't do anything stupid.

Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- X-Scissor
- Brick Break

Second revenge killer / Sort of sweeper. Brings that whole load of resistances I can use/ switch this into. I'm in doubt about the moveset though, since I normally only BPunch and die, and if I do use a secondary attack, it is Brick Break to kill that occasional pokemon whose attack I'll survive. Since X-Scissor only hits TTar, Weavile, Cresselia, I'd use it only for Cresselia which I don't see much now. Recommend another move please. (I'd like it to be something random, adds surprise).

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Explosion
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Heatran is my third revenge killer, pseudo-Special sweeper. Helps to kill ScarfDos/Starmie/BulkyWaters, along with other Heatran. Also can take out 1 more pokemon using Explosion, as a bonus. This has decided the match many a time now.

Gliscor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Hyper Cutter
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Roost

Eh, What to say, this is my Garchomp replacement. Has done well so far, dealing with all those pesky Lucarios (who are outrun if they run Adamant nature) and fighting types running around. Only thing I would like is if I need to go SR over Roost, as I lack a SR pokemon, and being a sweep team as such, I find it to be sort of annoying. I replaced Roost over my previous move, BP. I used to pass to an Agiligross, but changed to team now so Meh.

This is my old team and has proven itself during the early stages of D/P, and for the past 2 days now. Its only problem is that Skymin-S can run all over it if I let Heatran get killed. Now I decided to let it be criticized on Smogon. Sorry, I didn'y bother with pics for the team, because I'm in a hurry.

Ugh, for the third time this week I typed out a huge reply and accidently pressed back @_@

Anyway; your team has a big Stealth Rock weakness. You have one non-lead Focus Sash'd Pokémon, one weakness, and the other three (I won't include Gengar as it is lead and is carrying Destiny Bond) are neutral. You only have one resist, which is the rather frail Dugtrio, whom relies upon it's Focus Sash to evidently stay alive. As soon as it is gone, your going to struggle.

Firstly, I question the use of your Gengar. There are many Trick users in today's metagame, such as Specs Starmie, Scarf Metagross and so on. These are faster and can steal your Focus Sash whilst you gain one of these items, except they will often OHKO you next turn. For example, Starmie uses Trick and you gain Specs and Shadow Ball, they manage to hang on with the Focus Sash, and OHKO next turn with Psychic. You'll be struggling to beat Metagross, even if you Counter, for they will just take your Focus Sash and OHKO you. Hypnosis too only has 60% accuracy too now, 40% of the time when you need to sleep something it will likely miss, and you are on the back foot from the start. There is also the abundance of Lum Berry as an item to consider! Destiny Bond is just begging for Pokémon to come in and set up, eg. Scizor. Does it care if its asleep against your Gengar? Not really, you can only Shadow Ball.

Next of all, your Dugtrio doesn't seem to stably help. Stealth Rock is the fifth-most used, on 9.88% of sets, which doesn't bode well for your triple headed friend. Because of this threats such as Gyarados, Salamence & Tyranitar (all fairly common) can deal huge damage to your team as there doesn't seem to be anything holding it together. If you lose momentum (which offensive teams thrive on), your going to have problems. The "Stone Edge survive on Sash then Sucker Punch for Salamence / Gyarados" argument really doesn't work for me, why not use something that "counters" / "checks" these threats whilst still being capable of providing extra help afterwards?

Mamoswine and Weavile, two common Pokémon also deal huuuuuuuge damage to this team. A CB Ice Shard from Mamoswine will OHKO Dugtrio, Salamence, and Gliscor. It deals big damage to Gengar. Earthquake will OHKO Heatran if it comes in, and will deal 95.74% - 112.77% to Scizor if it dares come close. All in all, if your Heatran / Scizor is taken out, prepare to be swept, otherwise predict perfectly or almost certainly lose a Pokémon.

Next of all, movewise on Scizor, X-Scissor is perfectly acceptable whilst paired with Bullet Punch :]. It seems you are only looking for super-effective hits, yet X-Scissor is more useful than Bullet Punch on many, many occasions. (read: Celebi, Swampert, Vaporeon, Slowbro, Metagross, Tangrowth, Bronzong, Jirachi, Suicune etc).

[Have typed too much again, will start on the ideas / changes now ^__^]

Okay, so I would change Gengar & Dugtrio (and possibly Salamence's and Gliscor's sets).

First thing, I would add Bronzong over Gengar. Bronzong makes an excellent switch into Mamoswine and Weavile, as well as DD Salamence which is a complete beast and can sweep any unprepared team. Stealth Rock / Explosion / Gyro Ball / Hypnosis or Earthquake with the standard EVs and nature would benefit this team greatly, meaning you finally have something to "take some hits", and try to wall things here and there to stop momentum going too far the opponents way.

My second change would be to add Vaporeon over Dugtrio. It provides Wish support to Salamence which is something you seriously lack, as well as taking the Ice-type attacks aimed at Salamence. It can usually beat Gyarados successfully (Wish / Ice Beam / Surf / Hidden Power Electric], and just generally support the team.

Gliscor seems very redundant, especially when you consider you also carry Swords Dance Scizor. Make it defensive with Stealth Rock, to help wear down fliers and opponents Pokémon in general. If you really want to outspeed Jolly Lucario, use 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe. It would also provide a decent "check" against CB Heracross who is worrisome (plus Swords Dance Heracross). Aerial Ace / Earthquake / Roost / Stealth Rock is fine, you don't particularly need Ice Fang for Dragonite / Salamence, what with Explosion + Ice Beam.

Sorry for the little tl;dr, I tried to shorten it at the end. If you have any worries feel free to PM me - Good Luck!

Twash sayd enough about your lead...

Scizor: erm... NIght slash help to catch these pesky Rotoms Offguard, on the switch, obviously, but Zapdos and Gyarados will still give you trouble...BP kills Weavile anyway, but you will lack some firepower... i like Superpower over Brick break, but its just my opinion.

Timid Scarftran please?a modest wnot outrun much and wont hit HARD with major cas, like a LO mixed would.

Thanks for outlining my weaknesses, I'll try to modify the team. I find Bronzong sort of useless except for tanking as such and SR, so I replaced my Gengar with a Trick Metagross. Same typing as Bronzong, yet is much more useful, what with explosion and MMash lucky sweeps.
I've gone with Swampert, not Vappy as you said (over Dugtrio). Now the only thing which worries me is my 4x weak to ice, and 2x weak to ground. (Meta and Tran).

Sacked Gliscor, and got a free spot which I'm currently filling with a Deoxys-e, for late game sweeps.
So I think I could change Mence to a WishRoost set, Bulky. Use a Choice Specs to get the damage in, run Flamethrower for Scizor/Luke. This gives me a pseudo-Zapdos with Draco Meteor. The rocks are still a problem, although now most of my team resists it.

So the team as of now is Metagross / Swampert / Salamence / Deoxys-e / Heatran / Scizor.

Swampert sets up stealth rock, Salamence is wishpasser, Metagross trick scarfer, Scizor physical sweeper, Deoxys-e speical sweeper, Heatran revenge killer and Fire absorber for main sweeper. Only Salamence is immune to EQ though, so I'm using Reflect on Deoxys.
(Reflect/ IceBeam / TBolt / Psycho Cut) (Light Clay).

Need Light Clay for its longevity.

Replaced Heatran's nature.

I guess this is a major update, reconsider the rates please. Thanks for the awesome insight btw. :)
