An Assault Vest boosts Galarian Slowking's Special Defense to astronomical levels, making it an incredible special pivot. Future Sight allows Galarian Slowking to generate progress by supporting wallbreaking teammates like Urshifu-R and Kartana against checks like Buzzwole and Toxapex, but Psychic is a viable alternative if Galarian Slowking desires to immediately threaten Pokemon like Toxapex and Urshifu-R. Sludge Bomb allows Galarian Slowking to threaten Fairy-types like Clefable and Tapu Lele, while Flamethrower hits Steel-types that resist Galarian Slowking's STAB moves, such as Melmetal, Ferrothorn, and Corviknight. Scald is preferred in the final moveslot, as it rounds out Galarian Slowking's coverage by hitting Heatran and Ground-types like Landorus-T and Hippowdon while being difficult to switch into due to the threat of a burn; however, Ice Beam can be run instead if obliterating Pokemon like Garchomp is more important. The EV spread outspeeds Toxapex, allows Galarian Slowking to survive Surging Strikes from Choice Band Urshifu-R, and avoids the 2HKO from Choice Specs Tapu Lele's Psychic. The rest is invested in Special Attack so Galarian Slowking can hit as hard as possible.

Team Options
========

Assault Vest Galarian Slowking fits well on bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to stave off strong special attackers while still supporting the team offensively with its good coverage and strong Special Attack. Wallbreakers like Urshifu-R, Weavile, and Kartana are great offensive teammates that can take great advantage of Future Sight breaking through checks like Toxapex and Buzzwole. Weavile comes with the bonus of offensively pressuring Dragapult, which can force Galarian Slowking out with Shadow Ball. Rillaboom also benefits from Future Sight support against Zapdos and Tornadus-T while setting up Grassy Terrain to weaken Earthquake and provide passive recovery, improving Galarian Slowking's longevity. As Assault Vest Galarian Slowking is vulnerable to entry hazards, hazard removal is important to keep it healthy: Corviknight, Tornadus-T, and Zapdos are premier Defoggers that can reliably clear away hazards while checking Ground-types like Garchomp and Landorus-T. Physically defensive Pokemon like Clefable and Buzzwole can take on strong physical threats that take advantage of Galarian Slowking's poor physical bulk, such as Weavile, Tyranitar, and Urshifu-R. In return, Clefable can disrupt shared switch-ins like Heatran with Knock Off and Thunder Wave, while Buzzwole can take advantage of Future Sight with its strong STAB Close Combat. Specially defensive Landorus-T and Gastrodon can check Ghost-types like Dragapult and Blacephalon that force Galarian Slowking out with their STAB moves, and Landorus-T has the bonus of checking Ground-types like Garchomp and Excadrill with Intimidate and its immunity to Ground-type attacks. Both Pokemon also block Volt Switch from Zapdos and Tapu Koko, which can pivot around Galarian Slowking to bring in threatening wallbreakers. Steel-types like Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Melmetal provide secondary Fairy-type checks, especially against Tapu Lele, since the latter can break through Galarian Slowking with Psyshock. Finally, Assault Vest Galarian Slowking dislikes losing its item, so Knock Off absorbers like Clefable and Skarmory pair well with it.

Weavile deserves a special mention as it is a good offensive check to Ghost-types like Dragapult while also benefitting from Future Sight breaking through checks like Toxapex and Tapu Fini. im guessing you meant for this to be up w the fs wallbreakers

Future Sight allows Galarian Slowking to generate progress by supporting wallbreaking teammates like Urshifu-R and Kartana against checks like Buzzwole and Toxapex, but Psychic is a viable alternative if Galarian Slowking desires to threaten Pokemon like Toxapex more directly(immediately sounds better since Fs is still pressuring pex directly, but psychic hits it immediate which is the difference, also mention Urshifu-R). Sludge Bomb allows Galarian Slowking to threaten Fairy-types like Clefable and Tapu Lele, while Flamethrower is a fantastic coverage move that hits Steel-types that resist Galarian Slowking's STAB moves, such as Melmetal, Ferrothorn, and Corviknight. Clefable and Buzzwole are sturdy Dark-type checks that can take on the likes of Weavile and Tyranitar, and Buzzwole in particular can take advantage of Future Sight with its strong STAB Close Combat. (while most of this is true, I would rather have this be reworked focusing on physically defensive partners covering Glowking poor physical bulky and how those mons benefit each other.) Specially defensive Landorus-T and Gastrodon can check Ghost-types like Dragapult and Blacephalon that force Galarian Slowking out with their STAB moves, and Landorus-T has the bonus of checking Ground-types like Garchomp and Excadrill with Intimidate and its immunity to Ground-type attacks. (add a sentence about knock absorbers, since av gking doesn't like losing av)
