* Assault Vest helps Urshifu-S to survive special hits from Pokemon that it would usually struggle against, like defensive Iron Crown, Porygon-Z, and Volcarona.
* Wicked Blow damages Iron Crown, Pecharunt, and Cresselia.
* Close Combat hits non-Chople Berry Hisuian Goodra, both Ursaluna formes, and Porygon-Z.
* Sucker Punch allows Urshifu-S to attack first against threats like Custap Berry Skeledirge and Spectrier in case it needs to do so.
* Rock Tomb is utilized to have a mostly guaranteed matchup against Volcarona.
* Counter helps against physically defensive Pokemon like Donphan; Urshifu-S can't deal much damage to them, but Counter helps it to mitigate this.
* Its EV spread is designed so that it can always beat Porygon-Z. Its Speed EVs allow it to outspeed maximum Speed Choice Specs Porygon-Z, while its Special Defense investment enables it to survive a Hyper Beam from Modest Choice Scarf variants. The remaining EVs are invested into Attack.

i think you also survive a +spatk booster focus blast as well, albeit the matchup for generalist urshifu vs crown does depend on how well crown can tank yea. could be worth saying smth akin to crown mu being fully secured

cant generalize CC wrt regular ursaluna you always lose vs band ursaluna anyway (you dont ohko it and it ohkos you back), and you need to wicked blow -> cc in the matchup in case it's av/isnt band
