Attack First, Questions Later

As the name implies, I plan to make an all-out offensive team, relying on predictions and pure power to get around the low defenses that most offensive pokemon suffer for. Thanks for taking the time to read this thread and any feed back is greatly appreciated. Have a nice day/night.

Alakazam- Timid (Choice Specs) 252 SP ATK/ 252 SPE/ 6 HP
Psychic
Focus Blast
Trick
Shadow Ball

I'm slightly iffy about using Alakazam, but it is hard to pass that very nice Speed and the bonus of Choice Specs on it's ridiculously high Special Attack. I am open for suggestions on a replacement for Alakazam, because I was thinking of using Porygon-Z instead.

Gengar- Timid (Focus Sash) 252 SP ATK/ 252 SPE/ 6 HP
Shadow Ball
Hypnosis
Thunderbolt
Destiny Bond

My standard lead, and as many others will agree with me, is a great one. Hypnosis at the start, and remain in the battle to finish it off, or switch to Gyarados or Infernape to set up. After Focus Sash activates, I'll try my hand with Destiny Bond and nab a quick kill.

Gyarados- Adamant (Leftovers) 216 HP/ 16 ATK/ 176 DEF/ 100 SPE
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Taunt
Earthquake

This bulky set up contradicts my title but oh well. Bring it in on various Physical Sweepers and set up, or bring it in a pokemon that fell asleep due to Hypnosis from Gengar. Also gives me a nice switch in due to my glaring ground-type weakness from the following three pokemon.

Infernape- Naive (Life Orb) 24 ATK/ 252 SP ATK/ 232 SPE
Flamethrower
Nasty Plot
Close Combat
Grass Knot

A Nasty Plot sweeper, that serves the same purpose as Gyarados; set up and sweep when available. Infernape and Lucario are intended more for cleaning up purposes where Alakazam and Gyarados couldn't pick up.

Lucario- Modest (Choice Specs) 252 SP ATK/ 252 SPD/ 6 HP
Aura Sphere
Vacuum Wave
Dark Pulse
Dragon Pulse

Serves the same purpose as Alakazam; a very nice special sweeper, used to kill slower pokemon and nab a couple quick kills from more fragile attackers with Vacuum Wave.

Metagross- Adamant (Choice Band) 252 HP/ 244 ATK/ 12 DEF
Meteor Mash
Bullet Punch
Earthquake
Pursuit

A tank and high-end attacker in one. This could be a late-game sweeper, but I prefer to bring it out early and use Meteor Mash and Earthquake for some quick damage and return it right away. Bullet Punch is used more to revenge kill and Pursuit serves the same purpose. I have tested this pokemon with Leftovers and I like the freedom of attacks, but I have never tested how much an impact Choice Band will give it.

Thanks again for the time ;).

Actually, as a Lead, Sub Salac Porygon -Z is very effective! This set is a ted unorthodox, but works quite well:

name: Sub Salac
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Nasty Plot
move 3: Tri Attack
move 4: Hidden Power Water
item: Salac Berry
ability: Adaptability
nature: Modest
evs: 6 HP / 128 SpA / 124 SpD / 252 Spe

My friend, skiddle actually made this set, but it is very effective. Tri Attack and Hidden Power Water, while a strange combination, is only walled by Empoleon and Shedinja, who are very rare. Hidden Power Water deals massive damage to Tyranitar, Heatran, and can even OHKO Gengar after a boost with some prior damage.

Very interesting moveset and to be honest, I've never seen it before. Can you explain why placing those specific EVs in SP ATK and SP DEF? I'll keep that under consideration though since I'm a bigger fan of Porygon-Z rather than Alakazam. Thanks for the feedback

The special defence EVs are so a 80SpA Blissey's Flamethrower will never break the sub.
Porygon-Z is a fearsome special attacker, and as such, forces quick switches to special walls. Using this free turn, you have two options. If your opponent has a Blissey, you should Nasty Plot first. This will lead your opponent to believe it is a regular Nasty Plotter, and they will likely Thunderwave you. This will allow you to set up a Substitute on them. You can Nasty Plot a second time as they break your substitute. After two Nasty Plots, you should be able to 2HKO it. Most opponents will not Thunderwave again, thinking you will Substitute. If you Nasty Plot, then Substitute, then Nasty Plot, then Tri Attack, then Substitute, you will beat every Blissey with a Salac Boost. You might even walk away with a Substitute depending on their reaction to your first Tri Attack. Flamethrower/Toxic Blissey has no chance, as it takes tow hits to break one of your Substitutes. Take advantage of this, and you should very easily win the game, since nothing short of a Priority user can stop it. And even then, it's pretty difficult.
