Attack of the Bulkymons!

My old OU Team is way out of date, so I hope that this one can do something in today's metagame. Instead, it's more defense oriented, able to take hits while punching back.

Gliscor @ Leftovers
REPLACE FOR SUPPORT UXIE OR SUPPORT SHUCKLE?
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Nature: Impish

EVs: 252 HP, 252 Defense, 6 Attack

- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Roost
- Stealth Rock

A good bulky special sweeper. Gliscor's defense is plenty for him to switch in to a physical sweeper, and he has enough firepower to make a dent in the opponent.

Metagross @ Leftovers REPLACE FOR METAL BURST BASTIODON OR BULKYDOS?

Ability: Clear Body
Nature: Impish

EVs: 252 HP, 120 Def, 136 Sp-Def

- Rest
- Earthquake
- Sleep Talk
- Meteor Mash

A resttalking Metagross? It'll take a lot to brush it aside. Its defenses ensure it.

Starmie @
Choice Specs
Ability:
Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Sp-Att, 252 Speed, 6 HP

- Psychic
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt

Starmie is the special sweeper, with great type coverage. She'll sweep if possible.

dpmba051.png

Dugtrio @ Choice Band

Ability: Arena Trap
Nature: Adamant/Jolly?
EVs: 252 Att, 252 Speed, 6 HP

- Sucker Punch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Aerial Ace

He's the revenge killer. Good type coverage and Arena Trap ensures a kill.

dpmba465.png

Tangrowth @ Leftovers

Ability: Leaf Guard
Nature: Bold

EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Sp-Def

- Energy Ball
- Focus Blast
- Sleep Powder
- Leech Seed

Tangrowth's defense is impressive. Leech Seed is good for recovery, and Sleep Powder has many uses. Focus Blast is powerful and hits many types.

dpmba143.png

Snorlax @ Leftovers

Ability: Thick Fat
Nature: Impish
EVs:
244 HP, 28 Def, 236 Sp-Def

- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Body Slam
- Crunch

Snorlax is another resttalker. The best thing about resttalkers is it takes a lot to kill them off. And what's more annoying to the opponent than two resttalkers in one team? It's sure to cause havoc.

------------

That's my team. It's in need of some work. I'm not sure if having all bulky sweepers (ignoring Zam) is good, and I think replacing a few might help, but I'm not entirely sure on who to replace, what to replace them with, or to replace anyone at all. I hope this team can somehow work out though.

Thanks in advance. ^_^

Might I suggest Thunder Wave somewhere on Togekiss? With how slow your team is, some paralysis support could be quite helpful. I mean, sure, you could get along without it since you have SpecsZam, but if he goes down, you may have some issues.

Erm, are you aware that SD Lucario pretty much 6-0s your team?

Use leftovers on Snorlax and Grass Knot on Tangrowth is you want to counte Gyarados. Give Snorlax Crunch and replace Togekiss for Gliscor.

I made a few changes. I'm thinking about replacing 'Zam with Dugtrio for a revenge killer and taking out Gliscor for a Bulkydos. Do you think both of those are a good idea?

Zam for Dugtrio I definately agree with. Arena trap will up the revenge factor ;) as well as take out Lukes who think they've got you pegged. Snorlax is acceptable as is, but Gyrados will always increase the sheer strength of your team.

Ok, I made some more changes, including adding Dugtrio. I'm thinking of switching out Metagross for a more defensive Bastiodon:

dpmba411.png

Bastiodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP, 132 Sp-Def, 126 Def

- Curse
- Metal Burst
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Bastiodon's defenses are outstanding. Curse up a couple of times, and he can metal Burst any strong hit, especially Earthquake.

I also am considering switching Gliscor out for Supporting Uxie:
dpmfa480.png

dpmba480.png

Uxie @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Sp-Def

- Stealth Rock
- Yawn/Toxic
- U-Turn
- Protect/Psychic

Stealth Rock the first turn, then status inflict the second. U-Turn out to a counter if needed, and Protect for stalling on Toxic or scouting out moves. Psychic gives STAB.

I can also replace Gliscor for a supportive Shuckle, which can withstand any hit.

dpmfa213.png

dpmba213.png

Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP, 160 Sp-Def, 96 Def

- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
- Encore/Toxic/Protect?
- Rest/Toxic?

An out of the ordinary lead. Shuckle's first move is a Stealth Rock setup. After that, Knock Off screws over the opponent's sweepers. Toxic can cripple the foe, and this team of stallers can easily wipe it out. Protect can add on to the stalling, Encore can stop set-ups, and Rest can make Shuckle last a little longer. The only question is, which of thwese moves should be in the set?
