This Jirachi was in my team for a while and I did nice job, really.

Jirachi

[SET]
Name: Attacking Lead
Move 1: Stealth Rock
Move 2: Iron Head
Move 3: Fire Punch/Zen Headbutt
Move 4: U-turn

Nature: Jolly
Item: Leftovers
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 HP

Why this should be on-site:
- Sets up dangerous EntryHazard, as nearly any Lead.
- Can deal some massive damage to common leads.
- Also serves as a late-game sweeper.
- Decent bulk, even without defensive EVs, allows it to live some dangerous attack (Metagross' Earthquake, for example)
- Serene Grace gives big chances of flinches and burns.
- Quickly switches out, OHKOing Celebi, gives big damage to Azelf, but not to a Sash.

Additional comments:
- There's also an option of giving some defense to it, but it may be not as powerful to kill some pokes.
- Zen Headbutt gives some flinches, while Fire Punch can burn opponent. But with Zen Headbutt you won't kill Metagross, while Swampert laughs at you, when you're running Fire Punch.

Teammates & counters:
- Pokemon with Grass moves, when using Fire Punch, while Zen Headbutt version needs Fire/Ground types support.
- Sand Stream can also help to destroy Sashes, for example. It doesn't also hurt Jirachi.

- Metagross walls the set with Zen Headbutt, while Swampert with Fire Punch (tell it third time :P)
- Scizor also works without Fire Punch.
- Zapdos. Whatever it has.

Wait, why are you slashing Zen Headbutt on this set? The only reason it would be run is to hit Lead Machamp and Roserade, but that doesn't KO and Machamp is able to get a Dynamic Punch off and mess you up with Confusion. Also, the more bilky leads who aren't weak against this Jirachi can easily set up Stealth Rock while you either set it up and are forced out, or attack and hope you Flinch them to death. The damage done to Hippowdon, Swampert, Heatran, and Metagross is pitiful. Metagross is 3HKOed by Fire Punch, so he can set up Stealth Rock, use Earthquake, and then either switch out or Bullet Punch you to ensure you won't be switching in any time after that. Heatran just doesn't care what you do, besides U-Turn, but then he sets up Stealth Rock, so you lose. Swampert may be easier to deal with because it's less powerful, but still walls your moves regardless and gets up Stealth Rock so you lose again. Hippowdon is the same story as Swampert. Faster leads such as Azelf and Aerodactyl can Taunt you, set up Sealth Rock, or attack you to make sure you don't switch in nearly as easily. Roserade sleeps you even if it's not holding a Focus Sash and sets up Spikes if you run Fire Punch, while only Focus Sash versions can if you run Zen Headbutt, but then you have horrible coverage, having lots of things wall you , espically Scizor, which is bad giving him free switch ins. You do beat Gallade, but all Jirachi sets beat Gallade, so that doesn't really matter.

What does this honestly have over Machamp or Gallade in the Attacking Lead slot? Gallade has a great movepool, which means you can tweak the last slot to beat different leads, while also having Shadow Sneak, 80 base Speed so it can actually do something to Heatran, and a much stronger Zen Headbutt which allows him to OHKO Lead Machamp with Life Orb. Machamp has No Guard, which allows it to use Dynamic Punch rediclously well and lets it use Stone Edge without any risk of missing, great bulk to survive hits, Bullet Punch to pick off weakened opponents, and forces the opponent to decide wether to kill Machamp and not get Stealth Rock up, or get it up and get forced out right after by Dynamic Punch.

Gallade and Machamp do this better.

Please check the onsite analysis before posting new sets in Quality Control. The one in the OP of this thread is basically the exact Choice Scarf Jirachi set that's onsite but with Leftovers. As such, it is clear that there is no need to make a different analysis for this.

Locking. Feel free to try again in the future.
