Rejected Automatically Delete Replays from Accounts Associated with Users Banned for Doxxing

Unicorns

Banned deucer.
Posting this here at Kala's suggestion.

A three-year old PS replay (I can PM a link if needed) was brought to my attention that contained doxx information. In this case, the information was a link to a person's IRL picture. The user (I can specify if needed) associated with the account has been permanently banned from Smogon for, among other things, rampant doxxing and harassment. This user was known for creating dozens (potentially hundreds) of PS accounts following their perma-ban to continue harassing people. There honestly isn't any way to know how many accounts they made and how many replays they may have saved with similar or worse doxx information. This user is part of a group of other users permanently banned for similar reasons (again, I can specify if needed), so there's no knowing how much doxx information is easily available in public replays. Individual replays can be deleted, as evidenced by a similar occurrence during a tournament last year.

My question is: Would it be worth creating a policy or flag that automatically deletes all replays from PS accounts that have been banned for being associated with users known for posting doxx information?

Our policy is to keep replays deletions to a minimum . Retroactively deleting tens or hundreds of replays from all the accounts whose owner was engaged in doxxing at some point, regardless or whether or not there is a problem with said replays, seems unnecessary. While doxxing material can be posted in replays and those replays saved, those cases (at least that are reported to us) remain rare and far between; at present, we have little reason to change our current approach that is to remove all those occurrences manually as they come.

This was done shortly after your suggestion, but general rule to anyone who might read this: if you ever stumble upon such a thing, PM an Administrator as soon as possible for us to remove both the material and the user from our site.
