[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to its good special bulk and defensive typing, Primarina with an Assault Vest can function as a defensive pivot capable of checking powerful special attackers like Mega Latios, Tapu Lele lacking Psyshock, and Volcarona. It can also check some physical attackers like Urshifu-R and Zamazenta. It performs a crucial offensive role alongside its vital defensive role, being able to exert pressure on common defensive backbones like Gliscor, Ting-Lu, and Moltres. Despite Primarina's excellent special bulk, it often competes with less-hazard prone pivots with good longevity like Alomomola and Pecharunt although being able to exert more pressure offensively. Scald is preferred over other Water type attacks like Surf and Hydro Pump as it can potentially burn physical attackers like Melmetal, Kingambit and Mega Scizor, hindering their offensive presence. It also Flip Turn lets Primarina generate momentum for its teammates and pivot out of healthy checks like Galarian Slowking and Ferrothorn. Psychic Noise is a coverage move that allows Primarina to super-effectively target and deny recovery from poison types like Pecharunt, Toxapex and Mega Venusaur on switch in as well as being able to prevent Alomomola from wish-passing. Torrent is the preferred ability as it further increases Primarina's damage output and trading capabilities, allowing it to score a guaranteed OHKO on Tapu Koko and Tornadus-T after Stealth Rock. A Modest nature increases Primarina's damage output, allowing it to OHKO maximum HP invested Landorus-T after Stealth Rock. 176 speed EVs ensure that Primarina outspeeds maximum speed invested Adamant Kingambit.

Primarina fits best on offense and bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to serve as a specially defensive blanket and pressurize the likes of Gliscor and Heatran. Potent wallbreakers like Mega Diancie and Tapu Lele appreciate Primarina's ability to muscle through the aforementioned defensive Pokemon. In return, they break common defensive backbones in Zapdos and Toxapex that Primarina struggles to force progress against. Powerful wallbreakers and sweepers such as Volcarona, Ogerpon-W and Urshifu-R benefit from Primarina's ability to threaten Dragon types, including Dragonite and Mega Latios. Primarina appreciates their ability to threaten Steel types such as Melmetal and Ferrothorn in return. Primarina's glaring weakness to hazards means it appreciates excellent entry-hazard removal options like Great Tusk, Terapagos and Defog Landorus-T. Additionally, Landorus-T can switch into Electric type Pokemon like Tapu-Koko lacking Hidden Power Ice and Raging Bolt that Primarina struggles against defensively, while Great Tusk can switch into common physical attackers such as Kingambit and Mega Tyranitar. In return, Primarina can comfortably switch into wallbreakers like Iron Valiant and Mega Latios, which the former removal options struggle against. Viable revenge killers such as Zamazenta, Mega Lopunny and Weavile are also appreciated as they threaten defensive staples that Primarina cannot consistently pressurize like Ferrothorn and Slowking-Galar. As a teammate, Primarina can prevent defensive pieces that check the aforementioned revenge killers like Mega Venusaur and Pecharunt from remaining healthy. Primarina also struggles against Grass types such as Ogerpon-W and Serperior, which means that Grass type resists such as Dragonite and Melmetal are appreciated. In return, Primarina acts as a check to Fire types, notably Volcarona and Heatran that Melmetal cannot defensively answer and as a check to certain revenge killers such as Urshifu-R and Tapu Lele in the case of Dragonite.

Thanks to its good special bulk and defensive typing, Primarina can function as a defensive pivot capable of checking powerful special attackers like Mega Latios, Tapu Lele lacking Psyshock, and Volcarona. It can also check some physical attackers like Urshifu-R and Hisuian Samurott that cannot hit it neutrally. It performs a crucial offensive role alongside its vital defensive role, being able to exert pressure on common defensive backbones like Gliscor, Ting-Lu, and Moltres. Despite Primarina's excellent special bulk and offensive presence, it often competes with less-hazard prone pivots with good longevity like Alomomola and Pecharunt despite beng able to exert more pressure offensively. Scald is preferred over other Water type attacks like Surf and Hydro Pump as it can potentially burn physical attackers like Melmetal, Kingambit and Mega Scizor, hindering their offensive presence. Flip Turn lets Primarina generate momentum for its teammates and pivot out of healthy checks like Melmetal and Mega Scizor it gets prio so mayb use a diff example. Psychic Noise is a coverage move that allows Primarina to super-effectively target poison types like Pecharunt, Toxapex and Mega Venusaur as well as being able to prevent Corviknight and Alomomola from recovering and wish-passing respectively. An Assault Vest further bolsters Primarina's special bulk, allowing it to check Gholdengo and Calm Mind Tapu Lele I feel there are better examples than these, both set up and threaten it p easily with z. Torrent is the preferred ability as it further increases Primarina's damage output, letting it score a 2HKO on Melmetal lacking Assault Vest feel this is p irrrelivant as its just gonna kill u when ur in torrent range anw, do u pick up any kos, if not id just more generically mention higher damage output doing more to stuff like zap n shit. A Modest nature increases Primarina's damage output, allowing it to OHKO maximum HP invested Landorus-T after Stealth Rock. 176 speed EVs ensure that Primarina outspeeds maximum speed invested Adamant Kingambit and Ursaluna.

Primarina fits best on balance and bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to serve as a specially defensive blanket and pressurize the likes of Gliscor and Heatran. Potent wallbreakers like Mega Diancie and Tapu Lele appreciate Primarina's ability to muscle through the aforementioned defensive pokemon. could mention them breaking things like zap in return Primarina's notable weakness to hazards means it appreciates excellent entry-hazard removal options like Great Tusk, Terapagos and Defog Landorus-T. Landorus-T can also opt to run Choice-Scarf sets to revenge kill offensive threats like Tapu Koko and Garchomp that Primarina fails to defensively answer. Other revenge killers such as Zamazenta, Mega Lopunny and Weavile are also appreciated as they threaten defensive staples that Primarina cannot pressurize like Ferrothorn and Slowking-Galar. As a teammate, Primarina can prevent defensive pieces that check the aforementioned revenge killers like Mega Venusaur and Toxapex from remaining healthy.

- Would probably mention grass resists somewhere and what prima can do for them
- Maybe mention prima threatening dragons and stuff
- Probably mention Prima being a good fire resist for steel types

Thanks to its good special bulk and defensive typing, Primarina with an Assault Vest can function as a defensive pivot capable of checking powerful special attackers like Mega Latios, Tapu Lele lacking Psyshock, and Volcarona. It can also check some physical attackers like Urshifu-R and Hisuian Samurott not a particular fan of this example because hsam can knock / continuously ceaseless on you which doesn’t bode well for this prima set in terms of checking hsam, maybe zama is better and remove the “that cannot hit it neutrally” portion that cannot hit it neutrally. It performs a crucial offensive role alongside its vital defensive role, being able to exert pressure on common defensive backbones like Gliscor, Ting-Lu, and Moltres. Despite Primarina's excellent special bulk and offensive presence, it often competes with less-hazard prone pivots with good longevity like Alomomola and Pecharunt although being able to exert more pressure offensively. Scald is preferred over other Water type attacks like Surf and Hydro Pump as it can potentially burn physical attackers like Melmetal, Kingambit and Mega Scizor, hindering their offensive presence. note that scald is also crucial in burning checks such as ferro, pex, gking, etc Flip Turn lets Primarina generate momentum for its teammates and pivot out of healthy checks like Melmetal Galarian Slowking I wouldn’t keep my Melm on a prima that could scald / switch it in, gking seems like the better example anyway and Ferrothorn. Psychic Noise is a coverage move that allows Primarina to super-effectively target and deny recovery from poison types like Pecharunt, Toxapex and Mega Venusaur on switch in as well as being able to prevent Corviknight and Alomomola from recovering and wish-passing respectively feel you already pressure Corv enough to where you can safely just fish for scald burns?. An Assault Vest further bolsters Primarina's special bulk, allowing it to check Tapu Lele and Mega Latios more consistently . redundant since it’s intent is in the intro, the reason I added the assault vest part there asw Torrent is the preferred ability as it further increases Primarina's damage output and trading capabilities, allowing it to score a guaranteed OHKO on Gliscor Tapu Koko and Tornadus-T after Stealth Rock these seem like more relevant examples and explains how Prima can trade with certain offensive threats, also mention how it doesn’t interfere with pnoise’s ability to hit Toxapex / Pecha . A Modest nature increases Primarina's damage output, allowing it to OHKO maximum HP invested Landorus-T after Stealth Rock. 176 speed EVs ensure that Primarina outspeeds maximum speed invested Adamant Kingambit and Ursaluna. max speed Ursa isn’t rlly relevant anymore

Primarina fits best on balance offense wouldn’t rlly use Prima on balance over any other bulky water and bulky offense teams that appreciate its ability to serve as a specially defensive blanket and pressurize the likes of Gliscor and Heatran. Potent wallbreakers like Mega Diancie and Tapu Lele appreciate Primarina's ability to muscle through the aforementioned defensive Pokemon. In return, they break a common defensive backbones in Zapdos and Toxapex with lele mention it feels needed that Primarina struggles to force progress against. Powerful wallbreakers and sweepers such as Volcarona, Ogerpon-W and Urshifu-R benefit from Primarina's ability to threaten Dragon types, including Dragonite and Mega Latios. Primarina appreciates their ability to threaten Steel types such as Melmetal and Kingambit Ferrothorn in return. Landorus-T can also opt to run Choice-Scarf sets to revenge kill offensive threats like Tapu Koko and Garchomp that Primarina fails to defensively answer. don’t think I’ve ever seen scarf Lando on a prim build Other revenge killers such as Zamazenta, Mega Lopunny and Weavile are also appreciated as they threaten defensive staples that Primarina cannot consistently pressurize like Ferrothorn and Slowking-Galar. As a teammate, Primarina can prevent defensive pieces that check the aforementioned revenge killers like Mega Venusaur and Toxapex Pecharunt pex can still regen heal from remaining healthy.
