Hey everyone! This is my first RMT that I've put on here, and it's based around two of my favourite Pokemon from Gen 7 - Pyukumuku and Minior. Think of this team as nearly Gen 7 Chansey Offense, but a lot faster paced.

THE TEAM:

CTC (Pyukumuku) @ Leftovers
Ability: Innards Out
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Soak
- Recover
- Toxic
- Baton Pass

The defensive star of the team, Pyukumuku is able to take on most physically offensive, and even some specially offensive, Pokemon in the tier. If the opponent brings something out that's threatening, you can sacrifice Pyuku for a bit of chip damage thanks to Innards Out. Recover and Baton Pass are there to make sure you stay around as long as possible, and to keep up momentum when the opponent switches out. Toxic is there to whittle down opponents, and Soak not only allows you to Toxic bulky steel and poison types like Toxapex and Celesteela, but also can remove the STAB of threatening foes.

Mamoswine @ Focus Sash
Ability: Oblivious
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Ice Shard

One of my biggest weaknesses in competitive is choosing a lead, so I made sure that this team had a dedicated one, and the best in the tier at the moment is Mamoswine. This is due to the fact that it beats all other leads, is immune to Taunt thanks to Oblivious, and can output a lot of damage. Stealth Rock help chip opposing teams, Earthquake is great STAB, Ice Shard for priority and Icicle Crash for some cheesy flinches.

Tapu Koko @ Life Orb
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Dazzling Gleam
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Tapu Koko does what Tapu Koko does best, is a fast offensive electric type. It is probably the Poke I am least confident in on the team, and have tried replacing him with things such as Magnezone to help with my Celesteela/Scizor weakness, but to no avail. Volt Switch is for momentum, Thunderbolt for strong stab + is boosted by Electric Terrain, Dazzling Gleam for Garchomps and HP Fire to hit Scizor on the switch.

Minior @ White Herb
Ability: Shields Down
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Acrobatics
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

By far my favourite Gen 7 Pokemon, most of the games played revolve around weakening the opponents team to set up and sweep with Minior. And setting up is easy to do as well, as it's defenses are boosted by it's ability and then when it drops below half becomes an amazing offensive threat. White Herb is there to make Acrobatics 110 base power, Stone Edge is there for clutch crits and Earthquake is for coverage for AlolanWak and Magnezone, etc.

zygarde-10.gif

Zygarde-10% @ Choice Band
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Thousand Arrows
- Extreme Speed
- Outrage
- Glare

One of the best wallbreakers in the game, Zydog is relatively strong and quite fast. Choice Band is the item because 90% of the time you are clicking Thousand Arrows (ground STAB that hit's flying types) and the other 10% you are picking up kills on weakened mons with Extreme Speed. Outrage is only really there just in case, and Glare is there in case something gets out of hand, or to aid in a Minior sweep, however throughout my playtesting I haven't used either move once.

magearna.gif

Magearna @ Assault Vest
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flash Cannon
- Fleur Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Aura Sphere

And finally, Magearna. Pykuku is my defensive switch in, and Magearna is my specially defensive switch in. I've tried the Shift Gear set on this team, but I really missed having the bulk, so AV was the go. Even without a boosting item, Magearna is still impossibly strong with it's base 130 SpAtk. Flash Cannon is for STAB, Fleur Cannon nukes half the tier, Volt Switch for momentum and Aura Sphere hits steel types like Magnezone on switch in.

Conclusion:

So that's the team! The idea is to lead with Mamo and get up rocks, play with a lot of switch initiative and eventually get Minior in to set up and sweep. Once again this is my first RMT, so any feedback you can give me not only about the team but also on how I've laid this out would be much appreciated!

I reached the low 1400's with this team, but hopefully with a few tweaks/more time to actually play, it could be even better!
