Introduction
Yo Smogon, Its BattleManiac a new guy who is keen to make an appearence. I've been doing battles on PO for months, toying around with different teams. But just recently, I made a team which was actually an experiment and it turned out that it was a team which has Won me a handful of battles, although some of these battles are sometimes just people who either teach their mons Hyper Beam, teach their mons 4 STAB Moves or people who don't know a crap about the banning system end up in Ubers because they have Non-Legendaries who are banned and they claim that "all legendawies should be banned! u r a noob" and ragequit whilst I'm enjoying myself.
Anyway, enough rambling about pointless stuff which nobody cares about. Let's get get on with the team. This is dedicated to setting up Sand, winning the weather war if my opponent has Kyogre or Groudon, setting up entry hazards and finally sweeping with my mon. This team gives even Kyogre a run for it's money, and that would be quite alot of money if you're the king of the tier, but why am I bragging about this team? You'll soon find find out.

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang
Ah Garchomp, the Pokemon who I built this team around, why? Because it is my favourite Pokemon, My avatar is my own drawing of this guy for a reason. The set works like this: Swords Dance makes my attack go at stupidly good lengths to let me sweep my opponents, Outrage and Earthquake are the main moves for their STAB, Outrage is my strongest attack and can kill all bar Steel Types, Earthquake is my favourite move of all time and it's put on this for steels and to be butter alongside Outrage serving as the bread and Fire Fang is a filler used for killing Ferrothorn, Skarmory and Forretress. In other words, this guy is usually a gg.
Tyranitar (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Pursuit
- Dragon Tail
- Fire Blast
If you want to be Garchomp more awesome than it is, then you'll need sand and who better to summon it? TTar of course. This guy sets up the ever so important Stealth Rock, Pursuits Psychic types who have the balls to switch out, Dragon Tail is for psudeo-phasing and Fire Blast is for Thorny.
Forretress (F) @ Shed Shell
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Toxic Spikes
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes
Forry was put on this team for Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Rapid Spin and a resistance to Ice attacks aimed at GChomp. Oh, I already explained the purposes for the 1st 3 moves so now I can just say that Gyro Ball is my regular filler move.
Kyurem-W @ Choice Specs
Trait: Turboblaze
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Flare
- Dragon Pulse
I used to have Reshiran as a main Steel Killer. But I was starting to become a chew-toy for Groudon. But now I have this guy to do Reshiram's dirty work Up to 11. Draco Meteor is almost as strong as Kyogre's Water Spout and is a must for this guy. Ice Beam is my Ice Move of choice as Freeze Burn is a charge attack and is used to murder Groudon. Fusion Flare is my Steel assasination tool and Dragon Pulse is just a filler.
Darkrai @ Leftovers
Trait: Bad Dreams
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Dark Void
- Dark Pulse
- Nasty Plot
- Focus Blast
I put this guy in for it's hax value and for a special setup sweeper to compliment GChomp. Dark Void is well Dark Void, Nasty Plot sets up it's power level to extreme amounts, While Dark Void and Dark Pulse take care of everything in their path once setup. Most people should know how this set works. It's freakin Darkrai for crying out loud!
Zekrom @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Teravolt
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Bolt Strike
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw
- Volt Switch
In Gen 5, there is no perfect Pokemon. But if one was to be the Stealth Rock of actual Pokemon, Kyogre would be it. Zekrom is my man or I mean mon for him. Bolt Strike is always a 1HKO on Kyogre, Outrage and Dragon Claw are here for general STAB for when he switches in to those who resist Bolt Strike and Volt Switch is a filler. Thank God its over as i'm tired of saying filler.
Please rate and give your opinions. Till Then, Bye-Bye :D
