B2W2 Hyper Offensive Team

Hi,
I am a fresh member of the Smogon Community but I've a 2-month experience of competitive battling.I mainly use a Hyper-Offensive Teams which have got me a a decent amount of wins in PS and work okay with my DS.Roughly I have a win rate of 60% which is for me,very unsatisfactory.I barely make any rash mistakes but still I end up losing. So I am hoping to Improve through patching up the holes in my Team.Without further ado lets move on to the topic. Here is my team,I appreciate any suggestions given to me and all of them will be tried out since I am always willing to do what is necessary to win

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 224 Def / 32 Spd
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Roost
- Brave Bird

EV'd like an average Skarmory,This guy is naturally one of the greatest walls in the current OU metagame.I basically use this guy to set up my Hazards and switch into physical attackers forcing them to switch into a Sp.Attacker and falling prey to my double switch prediction.Brave Bird really helps with Brelooms.Roost for recovery and Taunt is to stop those Ferros and slower Skarmory variants from setting up Hazards and Leech Seed's even though this has worked great for me,I did find my self in situations where I could use Whirlwind more than taunt. So I am looking for suggestions on that. Now lets move on to my next Poke

Heatran (M) @ Air Balloon
Trait: Flash Fire
Timid Nature
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Standard Sp.Attacking Heatran.Combined with Skarmory's spikes and Heatran's Stealth Rocks the enemy takes quite some damage which helps me out a lot since most of my battles get dragged to very tight spots where every singe hit point counts.I am using Flamethrower as the shaky accuracy of Fire Blast has cost me quite a number of games.Earth Power to deal with other Heatran and Drought Inducing Ninetales and finally Hidden Power Ice to deal with those Dragons locked into Outrage. He is my only counter to Scizor,Ferrothorn,Foretress, the Steel Trio.

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- ExtremeSpeed
- Earthquake

Yep,looking at my team you should now have gotten a general idea I abuse the most used Poke's in the tier one of them is my DDANCE Dragonite with Multiscale. He and Heatran share a pretty good synergy,Whenever I am faced with a Dragon/Ice Type that outspeeds me which happens on a regular basis I can switch into my Heatran.I also get many free switch in's into Heatran as people predict it and go for EQ but are suprised by Air Balloon.Yeah I don't tend to reveal my Air Balloon until Mid-Game.MultiScale guarantees me a Free DDANCE which can completely destroy teams after the member of the steel trio falls.I am also considering Fire Punch over EarthQuake or ExtremeSpeed to deal with Scizor's that switch in as soon as MultiScale is broken and I get a DDANCE up.Which move should I replace ?. Dragonite basically functions as my Set Up sweeper

Starmie @ Choice Specs
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Surf
- Thunderbolt

Another one of the most abused Pokes in the Metagame.BoltBeam Starmie.First of all let me tell you the reason for Specs on my Starmie.I mainly use him for attacking and since I have a Tyranitar on my team it is practically impossible for Starmie to live enough to do some damage with Life Orb,Hence the Specs.Starmie also fills up the role as my spinner in the team and helps Dragonite from getting rocks dug into him and crippling MultiScale. He has also done me some wonders like OHKOing a Gengars which walk into Starmie like its no big deal with specs boosted Hydro Pump and many other Pokes who would live a Life Orb attack from Starmie.Sadly he cannot take hits

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch
- Pursuit

ScarfTar,Finally A pokemon that isn't abused as hell in the Metagame.Yes I know the sand is quite harmful for the team but Dragonite has leftovers so my setup sweeper isn't affected much.Honestly,I had only adder ScarfTar to my team due to those annoying Politoeds everywhere dominating my team.Just for the weather.I know Sand damages my team but also does the same to the opponent.Instead if Rain is allowed to continue it will not damage my team but boost the opponents greatly, hence I decided to choose Sand as it is somewhat Balanced in most Weather-War situations. But when I actually used this guy he got me a crazy amount of wins single handedly and has helped me a lot in tight spots as ScarfTar isn't common anymore it surprises the enemy.Crunch is a solid stab coming from that monstrous 367 attack stat.Stone edge is the second stab also coming from the same attack but higher power and a crit ratio which is pretty nice.Ice Punch is for Dragons who think too highly of themselves and finally Pursuit for killing Starmie,Latios,Gengar's who decide to chicken out.

Breloom (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Seed
- Low Sweep
- Mach Punch
- Spore

Well then back to abusing more OP Pokemon.Breloom is at its peak in the current metagame. Not much to say about this guy.Technician is awesome !!.Life Orb is a problem since Sand+Life Orb damage but generally Breloom does his job before Tyranitar has to come in.Speedtie's with Politoed OHKO with Life Orb Technician Bullet Seed, has a pretty good chance of OHKOing Mamoswine with Mach Punch after Stealth Rocks and 3 layers of Spikes damage.Basically my Priority Sweeper.Spore + Low Sweep Combo has worked out better than Swords Dance for me since I can predict that Latios coming in and Low Sweep it on the switch in reducing his speed and then spore it.Thats all of my folks

Note-I am willing to change my team from Hyper Offense to Balance or anything you say for the good.As I said before,I am always willing to do what is necessary to win.

Thank you for Reading.

Hi there, cool team.

I have one or two suggestions:

First, I would run Whirlwind over Taunt on Skarm, cause you need a phazer (hy batonpass).

Next, change Starmies Set to the defensive Spinner might be an option

Starmie @ Leftovers | Natural Cure
Timid | 252 HP / 40 Def / 212 Spd
Scald | Psyshock | Rapid Spin | Recover

Next, change Brelooms Set to the Swords-Dancer is also an option

Breloom @ Life Orb/Lum Berry/Fight Gem | Technician
Adamant | 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Spore | Swords Dance | Bullet Seed | Mach Punch

So, thats all for now.
Hope my ads helped!
Good luck.

E: the Starmie-Set let you live longer and has longer time to spin (important for Nite!), and the Breloom-Set gives you, next to Tar, a great Late-Game Cleaner.

Hey, Arrancar! Cool team you have here! I have a special place in my heart for hyper offense teams since my favorite eras of Pokémon were the Post-Excadrill and Genesect Eras.

Hyper offense is seen as a really easy style to pull off, but I don't necessarily agree with that. I think it's hard to constantly be putting pressure on the opponent while having little-to-no defensive backbone. because of this, I commend you for trying out this style as a new player!

However, there are a few issues I have with the team. Each team needs to have a clear strategy, a definitive path, for winning. This is especially true for hyper offensive teams. For that reason, I think you need to change your current Defensive Skarmory to Custap Skarmory. This way you'll be guaranteed at least Stealth Rock and most likely one or more layers of Spikes, which really help HO teams, as I'm sure you know. You don't really need the defensive ability that Skarmory has, since it's pretty much going to die right off the bat anyway.

Next, I would change DD Dragonite to DD Salamence. The main reason for this is that Dragonite and Tyranitar don't go well together, as Dragonite hates sand damage. Salamence, on the other hand, is better at late-game cleaning and doesn't mind sand damage as much since he doesn't lose out on Mulitscale. But the combination of Moxie and Dragon Dance makes him an incredible sweeper given the right support (hazards and spinning, which you've already given him).

Next, Starmie should be changed to the Standard Rapid Spin set. Locking Starmie into any of its moves is never a good idea, especially when you need to keep it alive to continue spinning. Leftovers will also increase its survivability.

My final suggestion is really just a preference of mine. You're free to disregard it if you don't agree with me. I would change Low Sweep to Focus Punch on Breloom. Focus Punch does much more damage than Low Sweep does (almost double), reaching 225 base power after STAB. The idea is to Spore something and then Focus Punch the next turn. Either you'll kill the thing you Spored, allowing yourself to Spore something else, or (more likely) you'll hit the thing they send in to "counter" Breloom. Common counters to Breloom like Lati@s are OHKO'd with a Focus Punch and a Mach Punch after Stealth Rock. Low Sweep can't boast that. But if you find the speed drop more useful, then by all means, keep it. Just a suggestion.

EDIT: Also, change SR on Heatran to Flame Charge and give him a Modest nature. Flame Charge Heatran is a beast, and can hit like a truck!
