Hey Smogon, WoW took up the past few years of my life and I've since got a girfriend who's into Pokemon, which made me remember this site and how much fun it is to Shoddy! Now since Platinum came out the metagames obviously shifted somewhat, I had to lurk and test a few teams before I came to settle on my current. it's rather successful but I'd appreciate some rates/tweaks.
So, without further ado...

Leadpert, my old favourite from 2007; never lets me down. He has the bulk and typing to generally ensure that rocks go up. I then usually Roar to scout, bringing him in later on physical threats that like to stat up/sub to put an end to that nonsense. Earthquake/Ice Beam provides coverage resisted only by Bronzong. This guy's amazing at what he does: leading, putting up rocks, walling physical threats and phazing.

I really, really love this guy. I needed an answer to Salamence, Gyarados and Heatran and he performs admirably. Trace has the potential to completely ruin the opponent's tempo and put me back on top, snagging Intimidate/Levitate/elemental absorbs and having the bulk to stall/go offensive. Toxic hasn't really helped me as much as I'd like, with the prevalence of Scizor and two other team members carrying burn/para; I am considering Choice Trick.

Blissey, the supreme special wall. I really dislike getting status effects; therefore, I decided to make her a cleric. Generally I will use a pivot to get her in once a few of my team members have bad status, using Aromatherapy while they switch in a counter. Thunder Wave really helps me set up my sweepers, and Ice Beam is standard fare.

Opinion
Classic Mixmence. Really puts holes in my opponent's team once his counters have been dealt with accordingly. He is pretty much the backbone of my sweep so I need to take care of him, hence pairing him with Heatran and Cleric Bliss. If I'm facing a lot of walls, this is my go-to guy to brute force them; I can usually predict to get him in safely.

Opinion
My revenge killer, and an extremely reliable one: his coverage and speed make him an immediate threat once I bring him in. He is my insurance against Scizor and Magnezone, and if I can get those out of the way it can be extremely satisfying to explode on the obvious Blissey switch. I try not to show him until absolutely necessary.

Opinion
I could not wait to try this guy out, and I was not disappointed. Functions as an extremely effective check to things like Metagross and TTar, once he gets behind his sub only Blissey really stands a chance. 152 speed is so he outspeeds Jolly TTar, getting in a necessary burn. Discharge>TBolt for the higher chance of paralysis.
Threat List
Aerodactyl: If I face a lead, it will taunt so I just go for the 2hko. Otherwise Pory2/Rotom are bulky enough to handle it.
Alakazam: Rare, but between Blissey and Rotom I can deal with it.
Azelf: If I can predict right, it will explode against my Rotom. If not, Heatran can scare it off.
Breloom: Generally I will let it spore my Swampert. Rotom with a sub laughs at it, Heatran revenge kills.
Dragonite: Swampert or Pory2 can Ice Beam, Heatran has HP Ice.
Dugtrio: As long as I can predict Night Slash, Rotom can handle it. Swampert and Pory2 can both ohko.
Electivire: Swampert ruins it.
Empoleon: Subpetaya variants are dangerous, I usually try to take it out early with Swampert. Heatran's Earth Power does a number on it, Rotom and Pory2 have TBolt/Discharge.
Flygon: Swampert/Pory2/Heatran ice it up.
Gengar: Blissey paralyzes, Rotom kills.
Gyarados: Pory2 snags Intimidate, takes a weak hit and kos back with TBolt. Rotom also laughs at it.
Heatran: I need my predicting hat for this guy. Swampert can usually handle it, if not, Salamence.
Heracross: Rotom kicks it to the kerb.
Infernape: Salamence can generally come in safely and scare it off/ko.
Jirachi: If it tries to CM I phaze with Swampert, Heatran and Salamence threaten with fire attacks.
Jolteon: Generally handled by Swampert/Blissey.
Kingdra: Blissey paralyses, Salamence scores a kill.
Latias: Dangerous. Hopefully my Rotom's behind a sub by the time she comes out and can Shadow Ball with impunity; if not, Pory2/Swampert/Heatran need to get in and remove her fast.
Lucario: Usually I send Salamence in and Fire Blast/Brick Break. Heatran revenge kills.
Machamp: Dangerous. Hopefully I can get Salamence in, or bait with a fight-weak so Rotom can come in and burn.
Magnezone: Swampert and Heatran. I need to watch out for HP Grass with pert though.
Mamoswine: Heatran can come in on an ice attack, Rotom on a ground. Then it gets flamethrowered/burned and dealt with.
Porygon-z: Blissey can usually deal with it, Rotom if it has a sub up.
Rhyperior: Rare, I have ice attacks/burn to neuter it.
Salamence: Heatran comes in on an Outrage, Swampert/Pory can beam it. I like sending in Pory just to Intimidate it back.
Scizor: Heatran revenge kills, Rotom burns, Salamence incinerates.
Starmie: Pory2/Rotom can send it packing.
Togekiss: This thing should be banned, the hax is so annoying. I usually rely on Rotom getting a sub up.
TTar: Swampert deals with the Dragon Dance variant, Salamence can Brick Break.
Weavile: A huge problem, I need to rely on Heatran dealing with it.
Yanmega: I can sacrifice something to sleep and bring in Rotom.
Conclusion
This team is balanced and powerful. I combine synergy with prediction to scout and get an overview of what my opponent holds, then I go for kos. It seems to be doing alright so far but there has to be a way to improve it! Thats where you guys come in. Rate/critique away.
EDIT: I forgot the defensive threat list. I spent like 2 hours making this thing and I'm tired, I'll do it tomorrow.
