I have been using this team for awhile now, and have had very mixed results. So i thought to come here for some constructive criticism, and post my team. Sorry in advance for the lack of pictures, im a forum Noob and i dont think i can post attachments yet. Well here goes.....
Azelf@ Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spe/252 Spa/4 Hp
Nature: Naive
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic?(Contemplating Fire Blast)
- Explosion
I just recently started using Azelf in the lead and i Love this thing as a suicide lead. Taunt is the core of this set, since it stops Non-Scarfed SR leads in their tracks, as well as stopping Roserade from using Sleep powder, And The focus Sash always insures i get some Stealth Rocks up. I like Psychic as a Reliable STAB Move, but lately i have seen a few Metagross Leads, and Fire Blast is a OHKO, as well as hurt Scizor and Jirachi Azelf as a lead does everything i want in a lead, Set up Stealth Rocks, cause some damage, and Explode.
Heatran@ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Spa/252 Spe/4 Hp
Nature: Rash
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power Grass
- Explosion
Man i love this thing. The scarf allows him to out-speed pretty much everything without a Scarf, and his Ridiculous STAB Fire Blast make him an effective Revenge Killer. Earth Power is there for other Fire-Types, like opposing Heatran. Explosion is there specifically for Blissey, and those Bulky water Pokemon. Lastly i chose HP Grass for Swampert, since nothing else on my team can really handle effectively.
Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk/244 Hp/12 Spe
Nature: Adamant
- Bullet Punch
- U-Turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit
Amazing. Bullet Punch with STAB and Technician make Scizor a great revenge Killer. Superpower is there to hit Scizors counters on the switch in, Like heatran Magnezone, and is effective against other Scizor. U-Turn hurts, and allows Scizor to scout, allowing you to bring in your own counters. Pursuit is for those pesky Rotoms and Gengar, who may be locked into Resistant moves, and get caught on the way out.
Dragonite @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 116 Atk/192 SpA/200 Spe
Nature: Mild
- Fire Blast
- Draco Meteor
- Superpower
- ThunderBolt
Now that Salamence is Banned, i am going with MixNite. Much like Salamence, MixNite can 2HKO almost anything, and with Access to SUperpower, i can take care of Blissey. With access to Fire Blast, ThunderBolt, and Draco meteor, i can hit almost anything for neutral damage.
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 160 HP/228 Spe/120 SpA
Nature: Timid
- Calm Mind
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- HP Elcetric
This is awesome. After a calm mind or two, either Good game to the other person or im taking two or three Pokes with me. I love how i can set up Calm minds on many of the common threats. Vaporeon, Gliscors, Swamperts, Bullet Punches, Fire Types, Ice types, the list goes on. Surf for the obvious STAB move, and Ice Beam for the pesky Dragon types. When Suicune starts tearing through teams, opponents tend to send in Gyarados, and any other Bulky water they have to Resist Water/Ice combo. Thats where Hp electric shines, making this set amazing.
Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk/184 Spe/72 Hp
Nature: Adamant
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Stone edge
- Earthquake
This thing is my Baby. After a Dragon dance or two, it is Officially game over. Waterfall is my main Damage dealer, and seeing as how most walls dont resist water, it hurts. Stone Edge for Zapdos, Dragonite and opposing Gyarados. Earthquake is powerful, and is there to take out Metagross.
I have been thinking about putting in Vaporeon for Wish support, and Tyranitar for Crunch support against cresellia, maybe even add swampert. Any criticisms are welcome and team suggestions are as well
