Back in the game, and not doin so well: RMT

Yeah, it's been like 5 months since I played this game, so I missed a lot, like Platinum, for instance. So I've been getting owned on wifi several times and really need help. Since I'm on wifi, and I am 100% against hacking, recommending legends isn't the best since it's difficult to get some of them. I still can get Heatran, but I can't get a good enough Zapdos or Celebi even though they would be nice additions. Also, I know no one with Platinum, so I miss out on some good tutor moves...

The Lead:

Infernape w/ Focus Sash
Hasty Nature
64 atk/252 spatk/192 spd
-Fire Blast
-Fake Out
-Stealth Rock
-Close Combat

It's a pretty standard lead infernape, and it's one of the few things that has been doing well for me. I've seen some builds use Mach Punch or Vacuum Wave, and while priority moves are nice I wouldn't use it when Fake Out flinches. Flinch first turn, set up rocks second turn, launch a base 120 power STAB move, die is the usual, but he does do some damage before he leaves.

Gengar w/ Choice Scarf
Hasty Nature
252 Spatk/80 atk/176 spd
-Hypnosis/Trick
-Focus Punch
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt

Since I don't have access to Platinum, I'm using Hypnosis to have the fastest sleeper around, but if that changes it will become Trick. Shadow Ball and Tbolt offer power and good coverage, while Focus Punch hits Blissey, Snorlax, and TTar switchins harder than Focus Blast would. It's pretty easy to give him a way to switch in. My real problem is the evs, I'm not sure if I should change the number of attack evs. Speed doesn't need to be maxed out due to scarf, since few pokes would outrun it with another 19 speed points.

Salamence w/ Life Orb
Rash Nature
252 spatk/120 hp/136 spd
-Draco Meteor
-Flamethrower
-Brick Break
-Roost

I love this poke, it can come in on so many different attacks with it's great typing and start hitting hard. I opted for Roost over another offensive move like Earthquake so I could recover the Life Orb damage along with any passive damage it would take switching in like Stealth Rock and sandstorm. Since this mence is a great wallbreaker, I've considered going the pure special route on Gengar by giving him Focus Blast though that accuracy bothers me...

Uxie w/ Leftovers
Bold Nature
252 hp/80 spatk/176 def
-Thunderbolt
-Psychic
-Sleep Talk
-Rest

Uxie's my physical tank and status absorber. Psychic is for STAB while Tbolt lets it act as my main Gyarados counter. Psychic isn't the best defensive typing, though, so this is one poke I'm nowhere near 100% on keeping, especially after it got KO'ed by a Yanmega's bug buzz before I could even tbolt it. If I were to replace it I'd need something to take status, because paralysis and such are a big problem for my team.

Vaporeon w/ Leftovers
Bold Nature
252 def/188 hp/68 spatk
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Wish
-Protect

Bulky water and another personal favorite. If Infernape isn't killed right off the bat I'm usually switching to this next to absorb a water attack aimed at my ape. It counters Infernape and Heatran well, and Ice beam gives it better type coverage. Wish and Protect are a great stall combination for extra leftovers recovery, a more "real" form of self healing, and of course Wish is great to help out the team as a whole.

Metagross w/ Choice Band
Adamant Nature
252 hp/252 atk/6 def
-Meteor Mash
-Bullet Punch
-Earthquake
-Pursuit/Thunderpunch/Explosion

CB gross hits pretty much everything hard, and with its steel typing and good hp and defense stats it's not too tough to switch in. The moves are standard, and I went with Bullet Punch to have one priority attack on the team. Right now he has Pursuit just because I don't have access at the moment to the move tutors that would give him Tpunch. I'm not a fan of explosion, but it's hard to pass up given just how much power is behind a banded blowup. Tpunch would let him deal with Gyara though and let me replace Uxie with a better physical tank.

The problems I've seen so far are mainly the lack of an electric immunity so things like Jolteon and Thunderwaving Togekiss have been annoying me quite a bit, and that my status absorber isn't doing as well as I would have hoped, considering that most status users also use special attacks. When I'm able to use the Platinum move tutors I think the team will get a big improvement with Trick on Gengar and Tpunch on Metagross
